If you are ready to travel to Mars after the Moon, a wonderful adventure with unique landscapes awaits you. As you experience Kathy's story, you will not want to leave your computer.

Deliver Us Mars demands a sequel, in the sense that it artlessly uses a couple of post-credits scenes to set one up, but there’s nothing here that left me wanting more. Its puzzles are rather dull and the most notable gameplay activity, rock-climbing, feels like it belongs in an entirely different game. I don’t care for most of the characters that survived Deliver Us Mars’ sloppy, facile plot, and its scenario is hopeless and depressing. A third installment may be inevitable, but I’m not eager for that package to arrive.

Deliver Us Mars is a truly worthy sequel of the -underdog- Deliver Us the Moon. There is much more effort in developing its characters and the overall story complements and expands the topics of the first game. Expect a slow-burner, hard science fiction adventure and you will not be disappointed.

Interesting story, and some of the exterior locations you get to visit are very impressive. However the puzzles are quite tedious; you either have to fire some beams to a location or play an awful minigame to unlock holograms. The climbing aspect is actually a lot of fun. Graphically it's a mixed bag, with stunning outside scenes but terrible character models - so bad it looks like an early xbox360 game at times. Voice acting is very good, particularly the main character. Overall I had fun with this game and it kept me entertained, despite the flaws, until the very end. There are some great sequences, particularly the rocket launches, but not enough of them to justify a higher score. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

A worthy sequel to Deliver Us The Moon and a genuinely atmospheric experience. Some technical problems are not enough to tarnish the very positive overall impression.

Honestly a great game, do not listen to those half-baked **** reviews by some sour people. Yes the game can improve on some early glitches, but people, its an indie game, with a very low budget compared to AAA. This is absolutely a masterpiece, it builds upon its strengths of its predecessor, its an important story to be told and I can't wait for more games of this dev.

I am pleased to say that Deliver Us Mars was very enjoyable, taking what feels like just the right amount of time to complete the story. I am hopeful that if there is a third entry in the series, it will overcome the technical limitations seen in the first two.

Technical issues aside, it shows that a sci-fi action adventure can tell a dramatic, gripping tale by zeroing in on the minutia of the next giant leap, and the weight of uncertainty behind every small step. [Issue#382, p.106]

Deliver Us Mars is decent enough but lacks the focus and narrative strengths that made the last game such a joy.

A rousing mystery brought to life by a great voice cast and nuanced character writing can't really save Deliver Us Mars from its shortcomings. Poor technical performance during cutscenes and backstory that is too often delivered by these barely-differentiated mannequins make it difficult to get sucked into this extraterrestrial world. Even when it’s running smoothly, frustrating climbing and platforming mechanics are just a chore to get through so that you can reach the more clever puzzles and rewarding exploration that break up the annoyances with moments of wonder and satisfaction. But I could never shake the feeling that Deliver Us Mars simply bit off more dehydrated astronaut food than it could chew.

With only about ten hours of gameplay (give or take), it feels too long in all the wrong ways. I’m optimistic, however, that KeokeN Interactive can finesse development to bring quality to future titles.

I didn't play the first one, and I haven't played recently, overall I enjoyed this game. It wasn't mechanically groundbreaking, and the character models could be improved on, but I remember crying at least once from the story which must be good (?)
Climbing was occasionally bugged, which was extremely aggravating, but not enough to put the game down entirely.
Honestly, I played it about a year ago, so I don't remember why I liked it, I just remember liking it.

SummarySequel to the award-winning Deliver Us The Moon, Deliver Us Mars is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure offering an immersive astronaut experience. Explore new frontiers on a suspense-fuelled, high-stakes mission to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward.
