Rock and Stone!
Deep Rock Galactic is one of the best co-op games I've ever played. The combination of procedurally generated caves, unique classes, and intense swarm combat keeps every mission feeling fresh and exciting. Whether you're digging through tunnels, fighting off hordes of bugs, or barely making it to the escape pod with your team, there are always memorable moments waiting to **** four classes are all fun to play and work together perfectly, encouraging teamwork without forcing it. The developers have also done an amazing job supporting the game over the years with new content, quality-of-life updates, and one of the most player-friendly approaches to live service I've seen.
Most importantly, the game is just incredibly fun. It's easy to jump into a quick mission, but it's also the kind of game that makes you say "just one more run" for **** you enjoy co-op shooters, progression systems, and chaotic moments with friends (or even random teammates), Deep Rock Galactic is absolutely worth playing.

One of the games I can spend the rest of my life playing, you really need a lot of time with this game, but every second is worth it. It's so much fun with or without friends. Rock and stones.

Still the best co-op multiplayer on the market, followed closely by Left For Dead 2. I have played this game over 200 hours and I am still feeling rewarded and encouraged to discover new forms of gameplay. The 4 classes are distinct and have their own charm. The mission variety is massive and the randomly generated maps are beautiful and keep the game refreshing. Even towards the end game, once all characters and weapons are unlocked, the game introduces weapon Overclocks which sometimes completely change the way a weapon is used. I am always on the hunt for that next Overclock which will allow me to make another fun build for a specific class.

Best PVE shooter I’ve ever played, it’s not even close. ROCK AND STONE! In seriousness, this game is amazing and worth every penny.

A really fun coop game. Seriously great style and vibe, feels a lot like the humor of TF2 mixed with Helldivers 2 (even if it came before Helldivers 2). The different mission types make for great variety, and while some were a bit more convoluted than others, all of them ended up pretty fun. The 4 classes didn't clearly make it feel like one was better than the other, but that's only with about 10 hours of play. Singleplayer was how I played the first 10 missions, and despite being built for 4 players all mission types felt doable, especially with the Bosco robot they give you when alone. Definitely made for multiplayer though, so I recommend buying if you know you have some friends to play, even if not immediately.

THE best co-op PvE extraction shooter out there.
I said to myself "now I will write a decent review". But I'm sitting for like 30 seconds thinking where do I event start?
DRG is so essential, so elementally fun, so pure, so smooth... Barely few months after hitting early access, Deep Rock Galactic became a part of pop culture, forever

Masterfully crafted game and the prime example of keeping a game interesting. I love Deep Rock Galactic. It is simple, mindless and repetitive, but it has the ultimate gameplay loop that keeps me entertained for hours. In the basics, you play as a grumpy dwarf that is sent on mining expeditions to collect resources, both for the mission, and minerals to use yourself for upgrading and purchasing new gear. You select various missions, which play in dimly lighted, randomly generated caves and complete your mission, while collecting all kinds of minerals and items to bring back with you to the Space Station. Accompanying you is a “Mule”, which is a robot on legs in which you can store the mission items and collected minerals. Throughout each mission, many different minerals can be found and mined, including rare artifacts and upgrade materials. When playing alone, a drone named Bosco comes with you and can shoot enemies and mining minerals. Speaking of enemies, throughout your expeditions, you are constantly hindered and attacked by the local wildlife called Glyphids. These are spider-like aliens that want nothing but your swift demise. There are many different Glyphids and other alien races that are present at each level and each one is as annoying as the last. There are four classes to choose from: The Driller, which specializes in breaking through rubble and digging tunnels, the Scout, which can light large areas of the cave, the Engineer which can create platforms to reach high places, and the Gunner which obliterates Glyphids in rapid succession. Each class has its unique play style, weapons and tools and, when combined with other players, real teamwork can be achieved. This class design is one of the best aspects of the game. For example, your Engineer places a platform high on the rock and your Scout reaches it with his Grappling Hook and mines the minerals. Each mission earns you rewards like credits, mined minerals and experience. When completing certain tasks, you also earn skill points that you can use to improve your character. When reaching level 20, a special mission can be played to promote your character, resetting it to level 1, while keeping your upgrades and skills. Do this three times and your dwarf has become the best of the best. After 15 levels, a statue will be placed in the Memorial Hall in honor of you. When returning from a mission, you arrive at the Space Station, your hub of operations. Here, you can switch your class, modify your dwarf with a million different cosmetic items, play dumb video games, drink beer, shake your booty on the dance floor and spend your minerals upgrade your weapons and gear, or purchase new items. The amount of stuff to do at the Space Station alone is mind blowing. There are about eleven different types of missions that you can choose from. From simple mining missions to Egg hunts, Dreadnought extermination and Liquid Morkite refinery. Although this could get a little repetitive over time, the constant switching between these mission types, the randomly generated caves and the slightly different secondary objective make the experience unique enough each time. I really like the graphical style of this game. It is cell shading polygon and not meant to be mind blowing, but it still looks pretty nice. The animations are fluent, the controls just work and the soundtracks are fantastic. Later in the game, you unlock Deep Dives and the Forge. Deep Dives are just three missions crammed together in one large mission, while giving you a ton of XP and resources upon completing them. If you are looking for a real challenge, there are also Elite Deep Dives. The Forge can be used to crafts cosmetic item sets or “overclocks” that can give your weapons the little boost they need to become unstoppable. On top of the many, many things that you can do in Deep Rock Galactic, the added seasons and specials events make it even more fun. When Christmas arrives, you can play special Christmas themed assignments to earn unique cosmetics and a ton of resources. You also got the seasonal Terminal, in which you can earn special tokens to unlock new weapon skins and minerals. In harder missions, on higher difficulty levels, hazards are introduced in each level and some of them are God awful, like the Low Blood sugar for example in which you take damage every second and need to kill enemies to collect their healing crystals. Another small complaint with this game is the “High Ground” glitch. Enemies can attack and hurt you when you are above them because of some Clipping, making them stop underneath a platform or ledge, while going full Rambo on you. Meanwhile, you cannot do anything about it. But in the end, I can only praise this game. It got a **** of stuff to do, unlock, collect and experience and keeps you entertained forever because of the seasons, events and new content. Definitely recommend this game!

After the first few hours of learning, it eventually becomes super fun especially with friends. The progression systems and mastery curve are what keep you hooked.

The community, the game itself, the fact there's no pay to win nor any gamble. Purely free to play after you purchase the game. I played about 400 hours already and you would think I have found many Toxic players or had troubles with language barriers? No. So far I only found 1-2 toxic players. The devs are so smart that they found solutions for language barrier. I love it. 10/10. Easy.

The best co op game ever made. Easily. The devs are amazing, the replay value is top notch, and the community is the best community in all of gaming. The game is extremely fun and beautiful.

Ah a classic. Deep Rock Galactic was one of the first titles my brother and I played on PC and we absolutely love it. At its core, DRG is a horde shooter with 4 playable class types. The progression system is streamlined and the upgrades you can slap on your weapons are generally easy to achieve. All DLCs for this title are cosmetic only and there isn't a battle pass system which is already a 10/10 from me. If you're looking for a steady title to kill time with your friends, consider this one.

Fun with friends. Performs very well on most hardware. A little less fun playing solo, as you might expect from a co-op game.

The best horde shooter I have had the pleasure in experiencing. Free battle pass, no microtransactions, consistent updates and excellent developer-community relationship.

lets start from the beginning... you have 4 characters, each with very similar dialogues that it doesnt even make sense trying to connect with them. each having a unique ability that helps your team. here lies the problem, these abilities dont make you feel special. they are almost bug fixes disguised as features, for instance, the cave is too dark? u got a scout to light it up, the terrain **** a s s? you got the engineer to make platforms, too much digging? well you got the driller. there is definitely a theme here, rather than smoothing out these annoying things, they instead give you tools to deal with them. that is not what abilities are, abilities or tools should make you feel special, not fix a problem with the terrain, it should make you feel like you added something to the team, not be a portable bug fix. the shooting feels very awkward, it feels like each bullet has a set recoil amount. so the gun feels like its just jumping in your hand instead of it being smooth but unpredictable. the enemy variety is a lot on paper, but what is the point of variety when the enemies are just spiders or some sort of recreation of a spider. i never felt like i died because of a mistake i did. everytime i get downed, its always because of something stupid that i couldnt avoid. getting grabbed by a monster should be funny and engaging, but here its just a chore you have to wait through. this game is a horde shooter with nothing that makes it feel like a horde shooter. the idea of a lot of content isnt enough when that content is scarce.

Don’t get all the good criticism about this game, as I don’tsee the point in playing it any longer. Might as well look at the white wall in front of me.

Awesome game. One of the best coops I've played. The different roles really add up, it's best to combine them to properly play the game and face the challenges presented. It's also highly replayable and has a remarkable procedural level generator. Levels feel unique each time and I love how you traverse the environment with the pickaxe and operator tools. I liked the mission variety.I loved the tone and fantasy of the game. You really feel like a dumb miner constantly spamming "Rock & Stone!" and other catchy phrases. Highly recommended if you are looking for a top-notch coop game.

Good God this game is good, overclocks are awesome and change the game so much, and anyone who says the game grows stale probably forgot that you can be more than one class.

Rock and roll with all your friends in the shoes of four unique classes this game offers. It's hard to find a co-op experience with this sense of progression and engaging, fun missions anywhere else. The only downside to this game is the Overcloak weapon upgrades, which essentially serve as end-game content. The reason why this is a drawback is that it is too tiring for a fun game that is all about having fun and playing games in your free time.

The choice to not allow Windows Store users to play with Steam users is so incompetent it ruins the entire experience of a co-op game which incessantly brags about the community attached to the game. I have played for hours and found the game almost entirely dead and not one mic in use on the Windows store making my time with the game incredibly unfun. If this is the experience people get when trying the game out, why would they go buy it on Steam? Terrible incompetent choice by a bad development team.

An interesting extraction game which is definitely meant to be played with friends. Even just playing 2 player co-op was a good time. Upgrading your character feels alright, definitely better and a lot more fun then some other games of the same ilk. You can really sink your teeth into a game like this and make is your go to game night after night, but personally I did not feel that pull.

It's amazing how such a simple and inexpensive game can give you such a big mountain of content and fun, extremely pleasant direct dialogue, as well as probably the friendliest community in the Internet world. I have always admired the principle of unity and it is the main one in this game. Rock and stone, miners.

this is EASILY my second favourite game of all time. so much replayability, its insane. im 200 hours in, and im not stopping anytime soon. this is a must play for anyone who even remotely likes shooters. the procedurally generated caves are done so well, i didnt even know they were generated until about 10 hours in. every mission type (except for industrial sabotage) is a blast to play. of course, this game is best played with friends, so make sure to bully them into getting it. there are 4 different classes with 3 primaries and 3 secondaries to choose from, with many different upgrades and overclocks (special perks unique to each weapon) and each class has different grenades, equipment, and movement tools. I like the scout because he has a grappling hook and can fly all over the place. if you find yourself not liking the game, that may be because you're not playing the right class for you. to summarize, buy this f*cking game bozo

This is one of the most enjoying coop games you could play, and if you up the danger level, challenging if you want it.
