Hollow Knight: Silksong4
Sep 7, 2025
you know you are treading perilous grounds when writing a bad review on silksong... this game has all the bad design choices from the first game but amplified to an unparalleled degree. the sequel has to be harder than the first one but somewhere along the line they lost track of what they were making. flying enemies that fly away from you endlessly until they feel like giving you a kiss, bosses that fill the screen with projectiles that blend in with the each other that you cant even see one from the other, bosses that spawn tons of minions while the boss deals 2 masks of damage, areas with specifically placed enemies at locations where you are at a major disadvantage, contact damage dealing the same damage as the attacks and bosses AI seem to abuse this by moving very unpredictably to just touch you, bosses track your movement so if you dodge too early then the attack starts at where you are instead of just the boss doing the attack, example: there is a boss that charges you, he does a short animation then charges, but if you dodge even after the animation is finished but before he starts moving then he will literally gain the ability to track you down like an aimbot and there is nothing you can do most of the time unless you get lucky. how does that even make sense?! like he doesnt track you normally but if you move too early then he starts tracking you. the limited rosaries often pushes you towards the idea of farming, you are often missing out on major loot if you do not farm enough rosaries, quests also give rosaries but are hilariously cheap, like there are quests where you have to go kill special bosses that then rewards you with 120 rosaries or even less, like you can go kill a bunch of mobs and get 120 rosaries. not to mention the controls, oh my god the controls. who tf thought it would be good to make the tools use directional buttons (ie joystick) and also the same button as the skill????? like you have to push the joystick up but then slightly to the side so you are facing the enemy then use the skill button, 9 times out of 10 youll just run at the enemies and get hit or accidentally use your skill to then get punished hard. this game is against you at every turn, and its such a shame. again with the same trope... to make game hard add more enemy and buff enemy... just... why?

Payday 3: Chapter 1 - Syntax Error2
Aug 16, 2025
This is the embodiment of greed. I have never seen a company so out of touch with reality as starbreeze. Payday 3, as sequel to one of the best coop shooters ever, has absolutely no content, no innovation, nothing new. And instead of adding content and fixing the game, they instead drip feed the player base paid dlcs with outrageous prices. Take for example the delivery charge dlc, one singular heist for 8 **** dollars, 8 DOLLARS. You are paying more for one level than the cost of all valve games and pretty much all indie games on a discount. And their excuse??? RANDOMIZED EVENTS. Yeah randomized events like the ones from PAYDAY 2!!!! They are literally copying existing things that should've been there to begin with and caling it CHANGE. Not to mention some missions are actual dog water, that I would imagine fixing door knobs would be more fun. The new operator that tells you the objectives is so annoying, every time she talks I just picture the sweet relief of a bayonet piercing my eardrums. And if it couldn't get bad enough, they will port it eventually to unreal engine 5, so the 10 people still playing it will unfortunately (or for the better) drop to 5. And they have the **** audacity to smile as they butt **** us into oblivion with over priced **** noodle slop in their news streams. Payday 3 is the **** ass recreation of a red giant star, except instead of gravity it's the force that **** us off wallet-side and instead of heat it's the radiating warmth of corporate speak to make us all warm and fuzzy while we give them our child support. Thank you for ruining one of my favorite games of al time.

Fallout 768
Apr 5, 2025
this is a great game plagued with bugs and technical issues. first the graphics: it is by far one of the worst looking games ever, 2/10 in terms of graphics. second the optimization: how can a game so ugly run so bad? i rarely get 60 fps and it stutters even on ssd. god save you if you go to any towns or any building, youll see a drop in fps so big that you'd be better off watching reels between frames. 0/10 third the world: Appalachia is vast and full of life, it may look ugly but damn is it fun to explore. places are very well designed and there is a lot to see here. 9/10 fourth the gameplay: you have melee, pistols, rifles, combat rifles, laser pistols, laser rifles, gamma pistol, gamma rifles, fusion core powered weapons, alien blasters, and pipe weapons. there is definitely a huge variety of weapons. what about the actual shooting? well the shooting is decent, its not crazy but decent, you have VATS which is like an aimbot you can use to target specific areas of the enemies. overall its fun. 8/10 fifth the content: ok so what do you do in fallout 76? well you have a variety of options. first is the main storyline in which you can choose which faction you want to join. generally speaking, main story quests are very fun. the second is side quests, which are basically smaller stories you can follow like sofia's story. these are fun but dont have any relations with the main story. third is the dungeons and boss fights, these are made for multiplayer but you can do them solo no problem. here is where you will find the really strong monsters and giants, they are generally much harder than the base game and even have their own unique enemies. you have 2 types. the daily ops which is a mini dungeon you can clear on your own daily. and you have expeditions which are big dungeons in a completely new area that is semi open world, you can choose between the pitt or atlantic city. on top of that you can drop a nuke on the map and go there with special armor against radiation, the nuke will attract giant monsters and even spawn a huge raid boss that you can fight with friends. definitely the highlight of the game. 10/10 all and all if this game released without the technical issues and with a better engine, it would have been game of the year contender. but as it stands, its an amazing game held back by bugs.

i was once human too until i played this game. the game feels like a chinese attempt at a western game. one moment you are a hardened veteran gunning down scary monsters, next moment you are talking to a magic anime girl that transforms to a butterfly at will. i dont care about your ni hao bing chilling mythology.

you know how in real life you are an extremely weak nerd with zero friends? well now you get to be exactly that in medieval times. see how a scrawny little blt ch like you would have lived back then. the story basically goes like this: Henry of Skalitz while feeling quite hungry goes to avenge his dead parents, use his clumsiness to glitch your way through the terrain and god have mercy on your soul if you come into contact with bushes, they block your character and sometimes cause you to fly off cliffs to your doom. i hate this game

Deep Rock Galactic4
Feb 25, 2025
lets start from the beginning... you have 4 characters, each with very similar dialogues that it doesnt even make sense trying to connect with them. each having a unique ability that helps your team. here lies the problem, these abilities dont make you feel special. they are almost bug fixes disguised as features, for instance, the cave is too dark? u got a scout to light it up, the terrain **** a s s? you got the engineer to make platforms, too much digging? well you got the driller. there is definitely a theme here, rather than smoothing out these annoying things, they instead give you tools to deal with them. that is not what abilities are, abilities or tools should make you feel special, not fix a problem with the terrain, it should make you feel like you added something to the team, not be a portable bug fix. the shooting feels very awkward, it feels like each bullet has a set recoil amount. so the gun feels like its just jumping in your hand instead of it being smooth but unpredictable. the enemy variety is a lot on paper, but what is the point of variety when the enemies are just spiders or some sort of recreation of a spider. i never felt like i died because of a mistake i did. everytime i get downed, its always because of something stupid that i couldnt avoid. getting grabbed by a monster should be funny and engaging, but here its just a chore you have to wait through. this game is a horde shooter with nothing that makes it feel like a horde shooter. the idea of a lot of content isnt enough when that content is scarce.

Far Cry 61
Feb 9, 2025
wtf is this? how can a villain be so bad to the point of me not even knowing if he is bad or not. the gameplay is repetitive and monotonous. the world is uninspired af. the game took the borderlands approach to its characters. every character has a cartoony entrance. borderlands is a humorous game that doesnt take itself seriously. however this game is about poor people getting invaded by a corrupt dictator. people are literally burning alive and you got characters like "sup duuude hows it going! im gonna go wack them traitors with my new highly modified shotgun. they just wont know what hit em." like f uck off.

a bit of a step down from 3. and not because of nostalgia or anything, this game is great but just doesnt have the well structured story or missions that 3 was praised for. you get a very nice villain named pagan min which i absolutely adore. his satire is through the roof you literally cant tell if he is serious or not which adds to his unpredictable nature. the world feels very samey with nothing really to do that wasnt in 3. but it is a great game nonetheless.

Feb 6, 2025
The game is good and offers a lot of choices for stealth. What I don't like is how it insists upon itself. There is just something off about this game that makes it feel corporatized.

csgo was the hub for gamers all around the world. if you wanted to play casual then you had hundreds even thousands of things to do like zombies, surfing, bhopping, jailbreak, deathrun, flying scoutsmen, arms race and classic deathmatch. if you were a competitive gamer you had classic cs waiting for you with new maps, weapons and mechanics. they just had to go and ruin it with cs 2. to give you an idea of how much was lost, csgo had 34 maps, 3 battle royale open world maps, thousands of workshop maps, was highly moddable, had 9 modes with 10 more in custom servers. now compare that to cs 2 which has 12 maps, 4 modes, no custom modes in servers, no battle royale, no workshop maps that have custom content and not moddable, you get the picture.

this is just a classic dark souls game. it has everything you would expect in a good ds game. bosses are great, movement is great. and the difficulty is reasonable. what i didnt like however, is that the game started to grow bigger, more open spaces, more open fields but less branching paths. it honestly feels like they were prepairing for an open world ds game. honestly if they had released elden ring instead of ds3 and called it ds3 i would absolutely love it. as it stands though, ds 3 is great and elden ring is just ds 3 with big open fields.

my monkey brain is happy again. this game sees the return of leon in a much more edgy and action based adventure. the president told you to go and rescue his daughter, ashley. ashley is a really well written character even though she can be annoying. its part of her personality. she is annoying but at the same time she just wants to help however she can. also she keeps hitting on leon pretty much the whole game and being the sigma he is, he kept ignoring her.

continuing the story of racoon city this time with a different protagonist jill. in the original game, jill was a very cool character almost on par with leon and claire. though in re 3 they completely butchered her. the original was a long game that was, in many ways, better than 2. however this remake is a gutted version, pretty much 10 hours of playtime was straight up cut from the original. making re 3 remake a very short and not so memorable game.
