Risk of Rain 2 is easily one of my favorite roguelikes. Every run feels different thanks to the huge variety of items, characters, and builds you can create. The gameplay starts off simple but quickly becomes chaotic in the best way possible as you stack powerful items and fight through increasingly difficult waves of **** combat is fast, satisfying, and rewards both skill and experimentation. I especially love how every character has a unique playstyle, which keeps the game feeling fresh even after many hours. The co-op mode is also fantastic and makes for some incredibly fun and memorable moments with **** top of that, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing and perfectly matches the atmosphere of the game. Between the great music, addictive gameplay loop, and near-endless replayability, Risk of Rain 2 is a game that keeps me coming back for "just one more run." I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys roguelikes or action games.
