Finally there’s a multi-player mode and it’s excellent, too. There are 15 different settings for single players and much more. Whether you like to play all alone or you prefer to play with or against others, you’ll enjoy Anno 1404: Venice.

For a small amount of money you get so many hours of fun gameplay – thanks to the multiplayer mode and the many scenarios. I can recommend this add-on to everybody who is a fan of the Anno series.

A 20 dollars expansion that adds multiplayer modes and smaller features. A nice offer for the more enthusiastic players of the original game.

Combination of old features with new ideas makes Anno 1404 a noteworthy expansion.

More than 300 new missions to play and some gameplay twist make Venice a good Add-On. Unfortunately, the lacks of a single player campaign mode is a great disappointment.
70
This modest add-on to a great game is aimed at players who fancy some multiplayer competition.

This is a lightweight of an expansion pack if you primarily play alone. The big news here is to finally compete and cooperate with other players.

Venice expansion brings multiplayer and my favorite advsior NPC: Giacomo Garibaldi ! I've also enjoyed the custom stories and missions. Manoral Palaces are simply beautiful. Finally you can make Venetian trader ships and they're even better versions of your flagship. Amazing expansion.

Venice is virtually the same game as Dawn of Discovery, just with some additions. The new trading partner and espionage mechanics are fun, although not essential. The multiplayer co-op is awesome! Building an empire with a friend cooperatively is massive fun. And the 15 new scenarios provide about 40 hours of new gameplay. So considering DoD is the greatest city-building game ever, Venice is an essential upgrade for it. Another must-have.
