Reigns’ devilishly simplistic game of Tinder-like kingdom management feels just as inventive now as it did in 2015, but Reigns: Her Majesty fixes some of its more poorly considered design choices while also putting a refreshing spin on the challenge you face by casting you as a (very powerful) woman in a man’s world. The king is dead. Long live the queen!

At last: royalty I feel emotionally invested in! Reigns: Her Majesty is a smart and surprising extension of the original swipe-'em narrative game.

After the first, unforgettable chapter, the new Reigns: Her Majesty adds some intriguing gameplay dynamics and a really spot on political subtext. Extremely funny and immediate to play, both on PC and mobile.

Reigns: Her Majesty is a solid sequel and one of the most funny games of this year. The game is ridiculously cheap, so you don't need to think twice before picking it up.

Reigns: Her Majesty manages to defy a lot of your expectations, and will keep adding more surprising cards into its deck as you play.

Reigns: Her Majesty has some really fun, quirky and dark writing and you’re sure to find yourself giggling unexpectedly at times. It’s the perfect game for travel to and from work or when you’re sitting on your own personal throne if you get my drift.

Reigns: Her Majesty is a solid sequel if you enjoyed the original, but it suffers from many of the same issues such as repetition, being at the mercy of the deck, and not really offering role playing choice but rather making you micromanage happiness meters. The low price point helps offset some of the annoyances, though.

Pretty good. Actually, you are a simple queen and you try not to die with the choices you choose. Although the story repeats itself occasionally, it is still a very good game.

It is horrible, the narrative desing is the worst ever. The game's myriad of decisions have plenty of variety, but things do become repetitive after a while. With no control over the cards, you must simply wait for the story to progress when it feels like it.
