Creating a gamer's game through and through, Traveller's Tales has delivered a 60 fps cartoon epic without sacrificing expanse, dwarfing boss encounters or vivid effects by skillfully balancing model and environment integrity with performance. [Oct 2004, p.69]

I liked it a lot without being blown away by it, and it's the extra flavour that kept me going more than anything.

Best post Naughty Dog Crash Bandicoot game period! I wish they remaster it and add all of the missing content one day!

If this game had been finished properly, without bugs and more content, it had the potential to be a masterpiece. Even so, it is a masterpiece. The humor, music, character dialogue and interactions, and strangely the bugs make it fun. The bugs can be frustrating, but with the correct mindset, not taking it too much serious, as the game itself doesn't. It is very enjoyable. The platforming is good, could be more precise. The brief level with other characters are interesting. Loved it.

The gameplay variation is there for all to see, and when it hits the mark it - believe it or not - is every bit as enjoyable as the very best the genre has to offer, with some true high points to look back on.

All the ingredients for a nice simple and playable game are here, it’s just that carelessness and an unpolished roughness drags the game down to mediocre levels.

Though the game looks and controls well, levels appear to be designed to kill the player in as many cheap ways as possible. [Dec 2004, p.78]

While seasoned gamers will be turned off by the game's countless cheap deaths, bad controls, inept camera and uninspired gameplay, Crash rookies might find something to like.

Full completion of the game takes time, and whilst there are some nice extras on the DVD to unlock, you can't get around the fact that it's time that could be spent doing something far, far better.

Probably the best Crash Bandicoot main title in my opnion. The idea of making Crash and Cortex friends just this once to defeat two birds is very on brand for the Crash Bandicoot franchise. I loved it! :D

I've had much more fun playing this game, than stupidly overrated boring PS1 trilogy. If it was properly finished, it would be one of the best platforming games on PS2.

Twinsanity is overrated. While I do like the approach of open world, I find it an unfinished and literally broken game. We didn't even get half of what the game was supposed to be. It is also very short, as there are only 16 levels in the game. Overall, this game is the Sonic 06 of the Crash Bandicoot series.

This game is an unfinished gauntlet of anger and tears. My full review of this mess went up to five pages, so I will spare you guys the trouble of ranting on the game. Good graphics, good music, decent humor are the only good parts of the game. The problem is everything else.
