For fans of the previous Bomberman games, the DS version is easily one of the best in the franchise.

I'm going to be frank: Bomberman DS is the best multiplayer Bomberman game ever. With so many different game modes, options, items, and arenas, there's enough variety that the game never gets old.

A more generous perspective would say it's more of the classic Bomberman multiplayer we've all come to know and love. It's the comfort food of videogames, and if that's enough for you, this is more than sufficient as an 8-player hold-me-over.

Bastante buen juego, cumple su función, tiene variedad de objetos, un modo vs cpu con el que pasar el rato, un modo historia con buenos niveles y jefes interesantes, tampoco es que sea la gran cosa o que involucre enorme diversión, era algo con lo qué pasar el rato y era un medianamente buen juego. Ojalá Nintendo vuelva a ser como era con Satoru Iwata y ponga bastantes de sus artículos a precios razonables y accesibles y deje de ponerlos caros (precios justos y balanceados son los que deben poner, no cualquier tontería o Port a precio de locura), yo sé que no soy dueño de una empresa de videojuegos pero creo que 30-40 dólares como máximo estaría bastante bien para un videojuego de Nintendo Switch que sea de muy buena calidad y que sea muy costoso de producir, y ganarían dinero de sobra pero 70 dólares o más es excesivo.

Just take it as read that you shouldn't buy this game if you're not going to play it with friends, and assume that the verdict is based on those who will be making their pals go pop on a regular basis.

This game doesn't really take advantage of the DS's cool touch-screen technology... Still, Bomberman is a blast.

This wasn’t a game created to win any design awards. It was created to give any DS owner the power to turn a roomful of friends into squealing, scheming, cursing, laughing Bombermen, and as such, it’s hard to imagine why anybody would want to be without it. [Aug 2005, p.96]
