Bomberman at his best. The classic 2D design keeps the game simple and perfectly suited to D-pad controls, and the touch screen allows for quick access to power-up items and lets you navigate the setup menus much more quickly than button presses.

For fans of the previous Bomberman games, the DS version is easily one of the best in the franchise.

I'm going to be frank: Bomberman DS is the best multiplayer Bomberman game ever. With so many different game modes, options, items, and arenas, there's enough variety that the game never gets old.

Another benefit of the DS is the two screens that allow up to eight people to play, and only one player needs the actual game for all to join in. Multiplayer is where Bomberman has always delivered, and the DS version is probably the most engaging yet.
