Battlefield 2142

As a new title, Battlefield 2142 holds its own. For a team-based shooter, you can,t do much better with what,s available today, and if you,re looking for a game to move your clan to, this may be what you,re looking for.

Battlefield 2142 may adhere to the familiar Battlefield formula, but its still gangs of fun to play.

Battlefield 2142 might not be extraordinary, but it still got excitement and fun.

Whilst not being overly different from the previous Battlefield games it does offer significant improvements and additions to gameplay to make it an extremely good game. A few bugs bring it down a little.

Fails to offer anything fresh. The new elements added to the franchise are shamelessly plundered from other games, and generally not as well executed. [Dec 2006, p.114]

For me, this was the best of the franchise until BF1. It came at a time where console games were dumbing down most genres. We're better now, though rest in peace flight sims and RPG writing, and for some reason they are trying to make RTS titles into mobile games. Don't get me started on their mentally challenged mutant offspring MOBAs. This title didn't suffer from that. hile I feel like Titan mode and some other little things weren't polished or fantastic, I deeply enjoyed this one. There were some balancing issues.. one of the assault's last guns is hyper accurate and shoots mini-rockets to boot (pretty much never died to anything but the voss and that's why i remember the name). It was never a HUGE deal, but still irritating. You can still play it, but there's this thing about old games where only the worst servers survive, like roaches. Yeah it is pretty cool when the clan who runs the server has placed a bugged invulnerable squad spawner in your uncapturable HQ and is constantly vehicle stealing/shooting behind your lines hurr hurrr..

A low entry title into the franchise. The core gameplay is the best out of the Refractor engine BF games, so why the relatively low score? Because it's inferior to BF2 in almost every other department. Singleplayer: at launch only 5 maps were available for singleplayer and you needed to be connected online to even play the singleplayer. This was a new "feature" that prevented players from actually playing even the singleplayer if the server providers were to abruptly shut down. Map design and Titan: some of the least compelling in the series and is apparently due to new hires in the company being assigned to create them. A total of 10 maps were featured on release and another 10 were added by game patches. A new game mode premiered in 2142 called Titan mode, a heavily modified variant of the original conquest. Instead of capturing flags, you capture silos that bring the health of the enemy Titan's shields down. Instead of reducing enemy ticket count to 0, you reduce the enemy Titan's shield down to 0 either by controlling silos or destroying the interior of the Titan after breaching There are fewer weapons and vehicles in previous titles but more gadgets.

Странно, но как будто сыграл в дополнение - короткая. Графика... такая же как у 2 только хуже. Итог: 7.455/10

Battlefield 2142 seems a bit too ... I do not know. The game is not like a battlefield. The game seems to have something missing, something you attract.
