Barnyard Blast has a lot going for it, but unfortunately not the most important things. Hopefully the developers can take their great sense of humor and old-school roots and move this genre into new territory, rather than get stuck in the past.

I expect most people will hate this game, but Barnyard Blast is a quirky throwback to the horror games of the late eighties. Those who played and cherished those games back then might find something to like about this scruffy, flawed little game.

Very fun game, I wish more people would give it a try. The gameplay feels like a Castlevania game mixed with Megaman elements, so if you like both, try this game.

Part Castlevania , part Run and gun , this is an old school tribute that in no way takes its self serious . Lots of fun gameplay, good combat, great bosses, and fun dialogue.
