A major update to Atlas Fallen, Reign of Sand brings a tight narrative focus and voice acting that reworks what existed into a really enjoyable AA adventure. Sliding through the dunes on your quest to find the Knights and overthrow a god is made all the more fun with a great powertrip of a combat system. Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is the Definitive Edition and I’m so glad the developers gave it the overhaul it deserved.

Great game that combines several great features from games like Dark Souls, God of War, Monster Hunter etc. And creates a nice blend between them feeling like a good old school game,

Super fun game if you like fast paced action rpg's. Story is average but Combat looks and feels good, and the game does a good job at making you feel powerful.

I've played this game in coop. The graphics is very nice, the skills were not bad, but the weapon number is very low, and the game saves only the host player's status. And the last time my character status lost as well so I started the last map with very weak armor and weaker skills... I don't know why. So the coop system has some issue. But I had fun with this game.

When we were kids, my sister and I used to put ketchup on our tacos. Yep, Heinz 57—the good stuff. Even those tacos had more spice and flavor than this game.
Bland. Boring. Uninspired. I’d recommend checking out any of the other options in the action RPG (lite) genre.

Moins beau et moins optimisé que certains jeux sorties 7 ans plus tôt...
Gameplay répétitif et manque de punch.

Disclaimer: I technically played "Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sands" which is a different game from what I know of "Atlas Fallen" as google said it was basically a 1.5version rebrand of Atlas Fallen, but howlongtobeat does not feature the game so...Anyways, the story was pretty bad. The first cutscene was interesting but from there the story is so poorly written it reminds my of the mass produced Chinese novels you can read on NovelUpdates. The whole storyline of the protag and antagonist makes no sense and is so realism breaking on how you'd actually react. There is just mega plot forcing everywhere. So there was no reason for me to play to stick through with the story (Together with the other badly written parts)So what about the combat. What should be that sole saving grace fun? No. Other than looking fancy with effects, the fighting has no skill mechanics at all. Your attacks basically have infinite range, and so much range you'll never get hit. At most you get hit when fighting more than one enemy and you failed spam clicking while merely jumping with no need to actually use the evade/parry mechanic. The animations are very repetitive with the same attacks too. Its merely a game of spam clicking left button and occasionally jumping while never getting hit even on a higher **** devs needed to create a good story to follow along, or at least a fun combat system, instead they failed both.
