Aliens Versus Predator 2

[Games Radar Rating = Direct Hit] AvP2 isn't a revolutionary game, but a collection of previously-seen elements, all put together seamlessly and balanced so well that it emerges as a rather beautiful Frankenstein's Monster.

It captures the atmosphere of the Aliens and Predator films perfectly, from the spot-on sound effects right through to the genuine feeling of actually being one of the starring species (pretentious as that may sound).

Visually, the LithTech engine does a good job in powering the alien's claustrophobic wall-crawling movement and does a great job rendering the predator's many modes of vision.

AVP2 is still scintillatingly scary. All of the trappings of the film licenses, like the ominous beeping of the marine motion tracker are included and done well.

Entertaining and terrifying at the same time, even with all of the annoying bugs. It still comes recommended in its current state, but after a patch or two, AvP2 will be a must-have for any shooter fan.

A superior game in every way—action, design, graphics and overall presentation—and is one of the best (and bloodiest) pure action games of the year.

It doesn't expand the genre and it's got technical issues, but the Alien and Predator levels are a blast.

played it around 2003/5 on my pentium 3; experience that is hard to forget; looking back from 202x, can say: i wish there was a remake with modern graphics, although even now it would make you **** bricks playing in the dark:)), otherwise - the quality of how it was done, 3 stories connected into one - i wish younger games could come close to it, but they never did - avp 2010, colonial marines - sad trash compared to AvP2; the only quality game on pc 1st person was Alien: Isolation , but that was different gameplay style. as 1st person action in Aliens Universe AvP2 is still unbeaten

This game was so much fun. The single player was great, but the multiplayer was amazing. The three way race wars were an unending fun multiplayer.

Это просто улёт! класс! Как в 2002 году могли создать такой бомбезный шедевр?! Вот я незнаю, но скажу одно, что геймплей - ВО! Атмосфера - УЖАС КАКАЯ СИЛЬНАЯ! Графон - Ничоси! короче, у игры минусов нет, кроме возрастного ограничения, которое соответствует происходящему, да и вовсе незнаю что ещё сказать? ;)

I remember playing the game with my lads back in the day and having the most fun.
