I’m an Aliens super-fan. I think that’s clear at this point, so it’s worth saying that I’m going to be predisposed to love a game that goes to the lengths this one does to recreate the aesthetics of that film. The flipside of that fandom is that I’ll recoil from anything that gets the franchise wrong. So with that in mind, hear me when I say that this is the best Alien game ever made. In fact, it only has one flaw — despite ending on a fantastic climax, Incursion is only part one of the whole story. I knew this going into it, but I was still shattered to see To Be Continued come up at a particularly shocking moment. That continuation can’t come quickly enough, but until it does I’ll keep playing Alien Rogue Incursion over and over again.

Alien: Rogue Incursion arrives as one of the best virtual reality experiences in a year, this past 2024, full of great VR titles. The setting is everything in the new Survios game - creators of other VR games such as Creed: Rise to Glory or The Walking Dead: Onslaught -, completely immersing us in what could be a new and terrifying story set in the canon universe of the 'Alien' saga, with a duration that can easily stretch to six or eight hours, depending on whether or not we thoroughly explore each level and its secrets. It offers an attractive mix of exploration, puzzles and unbridled action, all seasoned with a constant feeling of claustrophobia and extreme survival. In addition, visually it is quite a feat within the current virtual reality landscape despite the occasional setback in terms of animations or the position of the enemies in relation to their environment. The definitive 'Alien' experience reinforced by an increasingly established and effective virtual reality.

Primero tengo que decir que he visto todas las películas de Alien y me considero fan, y una vez dicho esto, casi diría que este es el mejor juego de Alien que he jugado, y mira que el Alien Isolation ya era una maravilla, pero este también es excepcional, cualquier fan de Alien, repito, cualquier fan de Alien tiene que jugarlo AHORA MISMO, incluso si no has visto las películas también tienes que jugarlo, pero es que si has visto las pelìculas ya es el no va mas, sale casi todo lo que aparece en las películas, no voy a entrar en mas detalles, y si tuviera que darle un punto negativo sólo sería para decir que no está doblado al castellano, (si traducido con subtítulos), por lo demás el juego es una pasada, desde que lo empecé que no pude parar de jugar, lo volveré a jugar mas adelante con una dificultad superior, si le doy un 9 y no un 10, es porque los gráficos son buenos, pero no son excepcionales como si podría serlo una producción triple AAA, saludos.

Overall, a pretty cool game with a great atmosphere, story, and satisfying combat. However, it sadly lacks polish and has a lot of bugs that affect the gameplay (many in-game items will often glitch into walls or ammo disappears after reloading a save). It also overuses certain mechanics. Despite its problems, it is everything I wanted an Alien game to be.

Survios made Alien: Rogue Incursion because they could, and what they made is an amazing action horror VR game that perfectly distributes the captivating fun with moments of trepidation. Solid controls mixed with well rounded gameplay mechanics generates an extremely satisfying time under the helm of a VR headset. The explementary graphical fidelity and immersive audio design greatly boost your experience and solidifies Alien: Rogue Incursion as a certified VR classic.

Alien: Rogue Incursion is an excellent VR title. Very immersive, good gameplay ideas, accessible controls and the constant fear of a xenomorph around every corner. It's a must-have title in your PS VR2 library.

I think if Rogue Incursion trimmed down its back-half, had a proper ending, and drastically reduced the xenomorph encounters so that they were more meaningful, it would be easier to recommend. But while I mostly enjoyed the first half of the game, the second half was a headache-inducing chore. Alien: Rogue Incursion successfully captures the Alien movie franchise atmosphere and there is a novelty to exploring this horrifying sci-fi universe in the virtual reality space, but its problems are way too big to ignore.

If you’re an Alien fan and haven’t gotten into VR yet, you have to for this game! The look and feel of the Alien world is so spot on and realistic, you really do feel like you’re in that universe. Nevermind jump scares… the Aliens will do that to you no matter what!

Its neither a masterpiece nor a AAA Game. On the other hand it's also not a boring or a bad game. Alien Isolation is levels better than this. The most disappointing thing is the predictability of the Aliens. Every 1-2 minute or so they come and you fight them. You dont have the chance to discover the station without getting attacked. You can not hide or play stealth to avoid them temporarly, to discover the station and get deep into the feeling being on the station. While reading a massage on the computer, you automatically prepare yourself to kill the next incoming Aliens because you KNOW that they are coming every 1 2 minute. The survival and exploration feeling is then automatically gone. No surprise feeling anymore. The storytelling is great. The story however is only half, because its part 1. That ****. Feels like a half game. The endboss is disappointing. I expected a good final, like killing the mother Alien in the Movie "Aliens". Sounddesign is ok-good but nowhere close to the sounddesign from Alien Isolation. Do i recommend it? Yes, i liked the game and had pleasure. Will play the game a second time. I gave Alien Isolation a 10/10 and this a 6-7/10

Huge waste of potential. They did the hardest part: building the world and atmosphere. Failed at (mostly) everything else. Extremely repetitive, infuriating enemy wave timings, horrible backtracking towards the end. Cannot understand the review scores it is getting. I get that we all want VR to thrive but we have to be honest: this is as mid as games get. The only good things this game has going for it is atmosphere and sound design. The later being pretty great.
