A completely unpredictable, unclassifiable effort. It's rare in this day of reboot, remakes and sequels to come across something that endeavors to surprise us. For that alone The Perfection should be appreciated. I had no idea where the plot was going and I haven't felt that way since Being John Malkovich. It's an exciting feeling. If more filmmakers took the chances that this movie did and attempted to be original and daring, we'd all be better off for it.

Smart, thoughtful, engrossing, **** people who say it's slow, I say, "You're slow." It's science fiction that relies more on its ideas than on its special effects. How is that bad? Sorry if you need bright, flashy lights and CGI to hold your attention-span-of-a-housefly. This movie isn't for you.

A staggering bore. Two puerile, overpraised filmmakers engaging in the worst kind of cinematic **** exercise and all for nothing. Tarantino's contribution in particular contains all his worst qualities. In particular, his much vaunted dialogue which is, in actuality, tedious, meaningless and self-indulgent. Don't waste your time.

A real gem. Far superior to the wildly overpraised Grindhouse. Black Dynamite catches the cool spirit of the genre it is paying homage to while still being freakin' hilarious.
