Game is still a clunky mess. Hitting and stick handling feel awful for no reason they are both just worse then ever. Skating still feels off. Graphics look washed out with a lot of weird pop in when playing 3s or in that arena. Braindead AI and unfairly programmed. CPU AI blocks, intercepts, gets open, plays d, hits, does everything. Your AI does nothing but take penalties and skate into coverage and cost you goals. Worst AI in a sports game I've ever seen. Penalties are more broken in the game than ever before. CPU gets away with 10 penalties a game, trips, slashes, interference, charging from across the ice, pretty much everything. EA seems to change too much every year just put everything in a blender but they should just focus on making the game fun again. Almost zero aspects of this game are fun. Scoring, fighting, hitting, skating, playing d, stick handling, none of these things are fun in this game because they don't work and there's no consistency. None of their realism changes have made the game fun, mostly the opposite. Go back to NHL14 as a starting point. Bring back gm connected. Or better yet stop letting EA have exclusive rights, another company could make a better game blind folded, even if they never heard of the sport hockey.

after 1 play of all the souls games this was my least favorite. not sure why. after a few more plays and finally playing the dlc it might be my favorite. ds1 is probably still top souls imo but this games bosses and areas are so good likely the best in the series. i didn't feel as cheated as passed games, most of my deaths were my fault just wrong inputs or poor timing and the achievement feeling for beating the really hard bosses was much like sekiro where i felt like i had to really master the fight to get through it. i think the ending of the dlc is perfect but i wouldn't complain if they made dark souls 4. praise the sun!

I really like this game. i understand it has flaws but it also has cool lore and dark fantasy vibes and the world is just as cool as ds1 even though its not connected in the same way. the music in majula is constantly stuck in my head. the weapons and variety is amazing so many different builds. the bosses are not the best in the series, few memorable ones. dlc as always is top notch.

still a good game but if you have a 360 or ps3 still in working condition just get a og used copy for that. i think the 360 version plays on x one and series x. there's some minor improvements to this version but not enough to justify it if you still have the og. ds1 as a game is epic. the world and map connectivity blew my mind on first play. only a few great bosses but the dlc bosses were cool. must play imo need to experience it if you like any of the other games.

didn't try this game for years, but slowly got hooked as i figured out puzzles and made it deeper into the game. it's so good. working for platinum trophy as i can't put it down right now. hope the other games are as good.

genuinely one of my favorite games. prairie king killed some of my love for it though. hated playing that with a passion and attaching trophies to it was bs. almost as if the devs wanted to give a middle finger to people who like the game a lot and want to 100% it. terrible unforgivable choice imo. prairie king doesn't even function well to want to play it in the first place. it is intentionally brutal/unfair and in stark contrast to the difficulty of the base game. its literally the only thing bad i have to say about **** but it is possibly one of the most frustrating things i have ever experienced in gaming. **** 10/10 prairie king 0/10

loving every minute of this! i've already played more game pass in 2023 than all of 2022. i like how this controls better than a halo wars or gears tactics but still not as good as keyboard and mouse. age of empire will always have nostalgia for me and this game delivers.

small amounts of fun mixed with rage inducing ai. **** when all you can do is watch the front pack get away while you're stuck in the group of cars not racing. game looks fine. sound isn't on par with better racing games. meh. cant recommend unless its real cheap.

another great game on gamepass! blown away they shadow dropped it, what else is xbox not showing us! solid combat that doesnt require you to use the music mechanic but it feels so good when you get it. music is pretty good especially the boss music. hope there is a plan for a longer more fleshed out sequel.

masterpiece. easily in my top 3 games ever. really 10/10. dropped it a point cause they did joel dirty on this cover. hiding him away in ellie shadow making him look small/secondary. ND hates joel now it seems and dont realizes fans loved both characters not just ellie. i bought it half off otherwise i'd think i spent way too much for the 3rd time buying this game. glad they never made a sequel this game is perfect on its own.

Wow this game stinks. Invisible walls and respawns when you go off track, who thought that was a good idea for big open world game? Main character is not good imo and starts with her terrible dialog. Frame rate is bad probably poor optimization since there is not much going on at times on screen. The spells are cool but I never found the combat to feel smooth or fun. Sony probably should have not bought this one exclusively. Going to try to sell it while there's still a little interest in the game.

Best part of this game is the visuals. Looks amazing, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. Combat just feels shallow. Story is ok didn't really hit with me. Actors were good they just didn't have the best material. For a new ip I was pretty excited but it never gave us something new or improved upon that Dead Space didn't already do. Wish the enemy and weapon variety was deeper to change up gameplay more. Apparently this cost a ton of money to make but I don't see where it went unless it cost all that money to make it look and sound great.

this is the most regret ive felt for buying a game in a long time. even at 60% off this feels like a terrible deal. this year it plays worse than ever. please NHL sell your rights to a new company, EA is ruining the brand with these garbage unpolished games year after year. its like they dont even know the sport or what makes it fun. maybe find someone who likes hockey to work on a game. the game is broken and full of constant crashes ive mostly experienced them in be a pro during sims while youre on the bench. most of the modes arent fun. so many things havent worked for years and yet the same mechanics just get pushed into the next version time after time ex. fighting **** and has been awful since it was changed from the old style and yet its never been adjusted to make it feel good or even fun its just jam the sticks until someone wins. if HUT didnt exist EA would not even make these games anymore they just exist to take money from the whales who buy packs. every year they ruin skating and hitting a little bit more and add some new bs dekes or celebrations slap a new year on it and ask for more money. sports games at this point should be live service games with one version per generation and then yearly roster updates. im over EA sports games, i'll dig out an old NHL or NFL 2k5 next time i need a fix.

amazing! best bosses in the game not even close. the music for Ludwig is so good and the cut-scenes!! must play if you have the main game.

thought it was great! loved exploring this game more than any other fromsoft game they really nailed the discovery in this game. after multiple plays i can tell i haven't seen all the secrets because the game is just so massive. the bosses are good, though a lot of them kind of forgettable, there are a few really top tier bosses that are super fun to fight. the pvp is now even better after dlc and co op with friends is great fun. so many builds i want to try still. the music (some of the boss music specifically) and graphics and cut-scenes were all top notch. the story is a little confusing and even after hours of digging and reading item descriptions its still not 100% clear. fromsoft this was great and i definitely want story dlc but PLEASE! work on new bloodborne or sekiro content before coming back to elden ring 2.

everyones already said it but the game is amazing! the story, the lore, the world, the combat, the bosses, voice actors, cut-scenes, just about everything is well done in this game. when it released it was the best game ever, now i think it shares the title with sekiro, but the game still looks and plays better than most games released last year. if i had to gripe it would be that fromsoftware hasn't patched 60 fps but hopefully that just means they're working on a remake for ps5 and pc.

this is the best game i've ever played. not going to be for everyone since it isn't a traditional souls game and it can be very hard at times. the combat is top tier, very deep and a lot of ways to play with the different tools and arts. game story is great, i really like all the endings, you have to do some digging to get a lot of context for the story but i found it worth it. has some of the best boss fights. the human bosses are good but a couple of the beast bosses are amazing. game looks and sounds great. voice actors for english and japanese are awesome they did really good work. add sekiro dlc or sequel to the long list of things fromsoftware needs to be working on.

single player is fun. game looks and sounds great. mp is crap this year. maps ****. guns are unbalanced. spawns are the worst i think they've ever been for insta deaths from fire fights or kill streaks you're spawned into. don't bother with objective based modes no one even does the objective, every mode is just team death match. was hoping to enjoy the mp before micro transactions take over and ruin it like vanguard but even this form of the mp just isn't fun to play.

one of the best mp games of all time. on top of that the single players was also great. please make titanfall 3! apex doesn't hit the same way, we need titans!!

been playing on game pass, so far very good. weapon variety is good and the guns are pretty fun from ammunition to the voice overs. i've got it turned up but its cool you can turn down Justin's frequent voice overs if they start to annoy. graphics are mid but doesn't really hurt the experience because the world design is pretty cool and makes exploring feel good. if you like rick and morty cant imagine you not enjoying this but also feels like a game for anyone who likes comedy or first person shooters in general.

i was expecting more out of the ps5 version. i'd give the original release a 8/10 its the best star wars game in years. ps5 feels relatively unchanged from the ps4 version. no reason for such long load times on ps5.
