This is one of my favourite anime of all time, Gintama can make you laugh, cry and will definitely keep you entertained. The first season can be kind of hard to get through but once you make it past that you will find a fantastic story, great and childish humour and amazing characters. Even a lot of the filler episodes are fantastic and will make you laugh I especially love Shinsengumi storylines as well as Hasegawa and Katsura storylines. You should definitely give this a watch as it is in my opinion one of the best anime for newcomers as well as people who love anime.
