I can't believe it took me so long to play this. This is one of the all-time great single player real-time strategy games. It's not as deep as something like SimCity or Civilization, but as far as a relatively quick RTS adventure, it scratches different itch that I didn't realize I had.

One of the best games of all time. Period! And most importantly: it's a reasonable challenge, which is a nice change of a pace from a lot of other recent video games. If you haven't played this yet, what are you even waiting for!?

Very fun visual novel. I enjoyed it a lot. Hard to say much about it without getting into spoilers, but give it a shot. Also, go into it blind; it's better that way!

Not as good as the first one, but still very fun. I don't like that you have to treck through every corner of every level in this one. In the first one, it was a bonus--which made it more fun. Also, the music isn't as good. The in-battle gameplay is improved, though. So there are also positives at the same time.

Very very fun game! Inti Creates never dissapoints with their platformers. Very cute girls. Great music. Fun, relaxing, and moderately challenging (I chose the harder difficulty) platformer. Very satisfying to beat.

I just recently re-purchased and replayed this on Xbox because my Gamecube copy is at my parent's house. And the experience confirms what I already knew: this is the best Sonic game. Hands down better than Generations. Hands down better than Frontiers. Yes, I originally played it as a child. Yes, I have a huge nostalgia factor. Yes, it has bugs. Yes, the voices in the English dub overlap each other and are poorly mixed with the music. And yes it is still awesome! Haters can screw themselves. Rolling around at the speed of sound!

Very similar to the original Sonic games on the SEGA consoles except it's not painstakingly, unbelievably punishing. And it saves your progress after each level. I do think some of the newer ideas are a slight step down from stuff copied from the originals. But overall, a super fun game!

My first time playing an Atelier game. I was suprised by how much I love this game. The protagonist is adorable. Everything about it is super fun and upbeat.

We all knew from the trailers that the protagonist would be annoying as hell. I thought though that I could just change the language to Japanese and everything else would be solid. I should've known better. Not only is the protagonist super annoying, but everything else is terrible as well: poor overall story and writing, shallow combat, dissapointing graphics. Don't buy into the marketing; this game is just flat-out bad.

One of the best strategy games ever made, and a timeless classic. The playtime and the amount of enjoyment you can get out of all of the featueres is insane.

I played this when it came out on the GBA and again just recently on the Switch via Nintendo Switch Online. This is the best 2D platformer ever made. Period. 30 years, and it still hasn't been topped.

The most recent mainline game by Alicesoft. The gameplay and writing are not nearly as deep as Rance, which is my only complaint. The music is AMAZING. The artwork is AMAZING. The gameplay is very fun, albeight simple. It is hard to complain because Alicesoft's games top pretty much everything else in the genre by a longshot.

Surprised that this is actually on Metacritic. On a certain popular Japanese review website, this is ranked above Fate/Stay Night, the Ace Attoreny games, and other classic VNs. And for good reason: it is a timeless classic and one of the best strategy games ever made. A solid 80+ hours of gameplay. Tons of replayability. Awesome story. Good music. And best of all, The Continent's greatest hero: Rance! For the record though, this came out in 2006, not 2019.

A fun indie platformer with an extremely depressing story and vibe. Put on a podcast, mute the music, and press A repeatedly during the dialogue, and you will have a blast because the gameplay is awesome.

Go back to the retirement homes Melee boomers, this is the best Super Smash Bros game. Most characters. Best music. Balanced. No stupid wave dashing. I don't know what Nintendo is possibly going to do for the next one because it's hard for me to imagine this ever being topped.

I wish the Cyberspace levels were longer. I also don't like some aspects of the writing--in particular some of the subtle changes to Amy's personality. I also don't like how meloncholy the music is in some of the open-world zones. It has a vibe almost like the Witcher 3, which is weird for a Sonic game. Otherwise, a very fun open-world game. The music for the boss battles is AWESOME. Still bumping it. There are many, many any epic moments. The cyberspace levels are super fun while they last. Just running around the open zone levels is super fun. Not perfect, but a fun enjoyable game.

Genshin Impact is a lot of fun. However, play the PC version or get a PS5. The PS4 version just simply does not run well.

Yes, it is a blatant rip-off of Breath of the Wild. Yes, it is a gacha game. And yes, it is good! There are so many other BOTW "rip-offs" (Immortals Fenyx Rising, etc), and yet this is the only one that gets it right. If it's so easy to make a fun game like this, why is every other studio failing at it? Also, Mona is hot. 10/10

Unfortunately, the supports for many of the characters, as well as many story elements were censored during localization. There are many other reviews complaining about the bland story and writing. However, please do not blame the original Japanese team. It is the English localizers' (Nintendo Treehouse's) fault in this case.

The fanservice is censored. There is a black void when you pause the game and in photo mode to prevent panty shots, and you are prevented from zooming in too close to the characters in photo mode. The translation is censored as well, throughout the entire game. Terms like "高校生" (high school student) are translated as "Gen Z" and as "21st Century Woman." There is even an entire conversation about "Gen Z," "Gen X," "Millennials," and "Boomers" that's not in the original Japanese, which has gotten a lot of attention due to how cringy it is. The gameplay is slow and feels sluggish. The visual novel segments drag on forever. The PS5 version somehow has performance issues, which is an impressive feat given that it is not exactly at the cutting edge of graphics. The music is solid, but it's not enough to make up for the fact that the game is lacking in pretty much every other aspect.

In my opinion, the second-best Senran Kagura game behind Shinovi Versus. The plot and characters are all awesome. The music is amazing. I have been bumping it nonstop ever since playing this. And the 3D fanservice is great. Best use of the 3D slider of any Nintendo 3DS game!

I thought people were overblowing the technical issues given this is a Nintendo game, but they were not kidding. From within the first few minutes of the game, there are extreme, extreme framerate drops. From there on out, there are glitches and constant issues. Also, it no longer feels Japanese or like anime.

One of the best Fire Emblem games. There is so much to do. The music is AMAZING. The strategy and level designs are well-thought-out. The characters are awesome (Bernie is the best!). No complaints.

I had a great time with this game. I was surprised to come online and see that basically everyone hates it. The only complaints I would have about it is that some of the content that would normally be included in the regular game is separated out into DLC. Other than that though, c'mon guys. The game is fun!

The English language version has censored dialogue, yet there is no mention of the removed content on the sales page. Very dishonest!

The best Senran Kagura game. Loads of fanservice. Terrific music. Great plot. Legitimately better gameplay than the Warriors series. The best musou ever made.

I am pretty sure this is my all-time favorite Mario game. It is up there with Super Mario World and Super Mario 64. This game is just pure joy to play.

Simply put: one of the best video games ever made. From Genshin Impact to Ghost of Tsushima to Horizon Forbidden West, almost every open world game made after this has copied core mechanics from this game.

Disappointing amount of fanservice. No transformations, no clothing break, and slower-paced than other Senran Kagura games.
