Instant classic in my book. Up there with the best in the genre. Played it twice back-to-back, as I did with Dead Space Remake.

I wasn't able to refund this game because I played more than 2 hours on Steam. Those two hours I enjoyed, because it was atmospheric and inriguing. Then the game became a hack and slash instead of survival horror. Around 6-7 hour mark I realized it's enough of self-torture and removed the game from my account. It has been one of the worst gaming experiences in my memory. I will not support this game developer in the future and will tripple check before buying anything from Konami. I get it that some enjoy this game but for me it's not a Silent Hill title. It's a teenage drama with horrible message about marriage.
