Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
10
User Scoreresumegames
Jan 23, 2018
After the original Ratchet and Clank was a brilliant game, there was bound to be a sequel. Ratchet and Clank 2: Locked and Loaded (Going Commando in US) is not only the best game on the PlayStation 2, it's the best game ever made. The story continues from the first game, and you start the game working for Abercrombie Fizzwidget, trying to kill the Thugs-4-Less crew and stop the production of deadly but cute creatures called Protopets. The whole campaign is full of great humour and funny moments, Captain Qwark being particularly the funniest character. You start on cool weapons that become even cooler by upgrades, turning them into more powerful weapons with 'Heavy' put in front of their name. (Lancer becomes Heavy Lancer) Once you finish the game, you can buy even more powerful versions of your weapons with 'Mega' or 'Ultra' put in front of their name. The game is generally challenging, but not in a frustrating way. You actually know that you failed for a reason (unlike Flappy Bird) and can try again to get better. For the time (2003), the graphics look very good (better than the first) and look even better in the recently released Ratchet and Clank Trilogy. The sound effects are fun and memorable, and the same goes for the excellent music soundtrack. There is an area in the game, Planet Joba, which has Megacorp Games, a place where you face off against waves of enemies and bosses, under certain restrictions. Another area has Hoverbike Racing to take part in. Both of these areas are great fun, and they control very well too (just like the rest of the game). Several segments of the game have you playing as Clank, Ratchet's robot companion. In his missions, you do more of the same platforming that Ratchet does, but certain doors or jump pads require help from other robot friends you find throughout his missions. After you complete all objectives on Planet Dobbo, a small teleporter to a battle will unlock, where you play as a massive Clank trying to destroy a massive version of a boss. Other sections include spaceship battles, where you get to a new area, but have to fight off the enemy forces in flight. All planets are available to explore at any time during the game. You can also customise your ship at Slim Cognito's Ship Shack, where you can give your ship a different nose model or change the style of paint on it. Once you complete the game, you can do it again in Challenge Mode, where you go through the game as normal, but you keep all of your weapons and have the ability to buy Mega and Ultra weapons, as mentioned before. All weapons are very creative, including one that turns enemies into sheep. You always have your signature wrench. My favourite weapon is also the most overpowered one, the RYNO 2. Puzzles are a chunk of the game too, and they're quite frustrating but very satisfying and fun. There are a few Easter Eggs as well, the most noticeable one being Ratchet playing the first Ratchet and Clank game on the start screen, while Clank reads a book. However, there is another secret which is a button code for a demo of Sly Cooper. Overall, Ratchet and Clank 2: Locked and Loaded/Going Commando is the best game of the 2000s, the best game on the PS2, and most importantly, the best game ever made (in my opinion). It has an entertaining story, great controls and gameplay, good graphics, funny humour and characters, plenty of reasons to finish it a second time in Challenge Mode, and tons of things to do besides the main story.

Myth Makers: Super Kart GP

User Scoreresumegames
Feb 11, 2016
In Data Design Interactive's never ending mission to release a terrible game in every genre and to damage the Wii's reputation, Myth Makers: Super Kart GP is a kart racing game with playable Myth Makers characters such as Trixie (from Trixie in Toyland) and yet again the same recycled music from Orbs of Doom, Ninjabread Man and Anubis II. Also, don't forget those usual 32-bit looking graphics featured in the other DDI games. There are multiple stages but the tutorial seems to have horrible controls when the rest of the game has bearable, but not good controls. If you're curious about how bad the game really is, then you could get it at a cheap price but otherwise this is another one to avoid.

KickBeat

Oct 28, 2015
After many Guitar Hero and Rock Band games used plastic instruments as controllers, KickBeat goes back to using a regular controller and gives you a standard rhythm game with a twist - Instead of pressing notes correctly, you kick enemies to the beat of the music. It's one of the few music games to have a story mode, although the plot is quite generic and forgettable. It is about Lee, the 'Chosen One' **** of monks who kick enemies to the beat via training with their leader, Master Fu. They play the songs from the Sphere of Music, a sphere that contains all music that has been or will ever be made. After the third stage tasks you with defeating the Mercenary Chief, the owner of a music entertainment company, Earth Entertainment steals all but 18 of the songs in the world. Lee's objective is to defeat the owner, named Mr. Halisi, and the enemies at Earth Entertainment's other locations. The cutscenes are animated in a comic book style which looks visually nice. The training missions are important but not very interesting. I would recommend you start playing on Normal difficulty, as it's a good starting point for newcomers to the game. On this difficulty, you will be able to see which button to press as the enemies attack. Once you start playing on Hard, though, you have to know what buttons you're meant to press as the button indicators are gone, all you have is a white outline on the enemy when you're supposed to kick him. There are yellow guys, who are regular enemies who kick in no pattern. The blue guys are supposed to be hit quickly between each other and the red guys are supposed to be hit at the same time, meaning you'll have to press two (or even three on Expert and Master) buttons simultaneously. There is a lot of content to unlock, a bit too much content since you have to finish the game on Master difficulty to unlock every last drop. This game can become quite frustrating and difficult at the higher settings, and even at the low settings if you are still getting used to the patterns, especially when some of the songs are 5 minutes long. You have a health gauge and a Chi gauge in the middle of the screen (which is also where your character stands). Chi can be used to increase your score multiplier and you can collect it by kicking people correctly. The song selection is not brilliant, but it's fairly well chosen. The songs are a mix of late 90s heavy metal music and more recent (but not current) electronic music from people like Pendulum and Celldweller. However, I was a little more satisfied with the songs in Boom Boom Rocket (check out my XBLA Compilation Disc review for more on that). Unfortunately, there are a few annoying spikes in difficulty during the game, like the final boss where you have to double-tap the buttons to kill the purple orbs or a long song that you'll have to do all over again if you fail. Once you finish, you are encouraged to continue the story with Mei, Master Fu's granddaughter. You also unlock the Beat Your Music mode when you finish, and it works quite well, from what I've heard. I couldn't try it since I have no music stored on my PS Vita. This mode would expand the life of the game, however, as you can kick to the beat of your own favourite music. You unlock Survival mode after finishing the game on Master difficulty, which is exactly what you'd expect - you survive for as long as you can while all of the songs play one after the other. I've encountered a few progress-related glitches, such as a trophy not unlocking and some cutscenes being locked in the Unlockables section even after I had seen them in the story mode. Overall, KickBeat is a good rhythm game with a fresh twist and colourful (but not excellent) graphics. What brings it down is its song selection that (although good) could be better, its frustrating difficulty spikes, odd glitches and plain story. It's currently free on PS Plus for PS3 and PS Vita (but not for much longer) so if you have a Plus subscription and one of those consoles, I would recommend getting it. If not, buy it if you are interested in rhythm games or the concept of this one. A better version to get if you don't have Plus is KickBeat: Special Edition on PS4 or Xbox One or even the Steam Edition on PC. But if you don't like music games, you probably won't like this one.

Watch Dogs

User Scoreresumegames
May 24, 2015
WATCH_DOGS is a good open world stealth third person shooter with some minor and major problems that drag it down from being as good as some other games of the open world type (Just Cause 2, Grand Theft Auto V...) This game misses some vital points that JC2 and GTA V got right: 1. You cannot swim underwater. 2. There are some invisible walls. 3. You cannot climb obstacles or punch people unless a button prompt says that you can. The story of Watch Dogs is quite exciting and interesting. You play as a hacker, Aiden Pearce, whose niece is killed by Maurice Vega, a gang member sent by Aiden's old hacking partner Damien Brenks to do the killing. The story then turns unoriginal, as Aiden is out for revenge on Maurice and Damien. Aiden is not a very interesting character, but the supporting characters are. There are also side missions like Criminal Convoys, where you have to cut off and gun down a group of gang members before they reach their destination, Gang Hideouts, where you knock out a specific target ****, Fixer Contracts, where you either get a car to a location with minimal damage, lose Police or gang pursuers and then drop off a car or drive through checkpoints to get the police on to you. The last group of side missions are Crimes, where you stop a crime just before it happens and catch the criminal. Whilst roaming around the in-game city of Chicago, you can use Aiden's smartphone to profile people. This shows you their name, what they've been doing recently, their job and their income. There are also some Mini Games to play: Cash Run, a parkour running smartphone game, Chess, Drinking, NVZN, another smartphone game where you shoot aliens coming out of a portal, Poker and Shell Game, where a man puts a ball in a cup and shuffles three of them round. Once he's done you have to guess which cup the ball is in. There are a lot of collectibles: Audio Logs, City Hotspots, ctOS Breaches, ctOS Towers, Privacy Invasions and SongSneak. There are many investigations that add more to the story, like the Human Traffic Investigation or the Missing Person Investigation. Gun combat in this game feels great and sounds great too. A bad thing about Watch Dogs is its excessive hacking puzzles that are used many times during the story, and many more when finding collectibles. Another bad thing is that Ubisoft have tried to mix single player with multiplayer, and this doesn't work well. At any time outside of a mission during the game, an online player can invade your game and hack you, and you can do the same to them. This sounds fun, but it can get really annoying and boring when someone jumps into your game and ruins your fun. The rest of the online modes are Online Decryption, Online Race and Online Tailing. Sometimes these modes can be quite glitchy, buggy and laggy, but the real problem is that just under a year from release, the Watch Dogs online community is dying out. Many bad things from Ubisoft's other big franchise Assassin's Creed are in Watch Dogs. Overall, Watch Dogs is a good game that is kept from getting 8 or 9/10 because of not-as-advertised graphics, missing vital open-world features, occasionally buggy online modes, bad mixture of single player and multiplayer and excessive hacking puzzles.

SBK 08 is nothing more than an average racing game. It's very realistic and due to this, is inaccessible to casual gamers. You must take every corner with absolute precision or everyone will speed past you and fling you into last place. Instant Action, the first mode of the game, puts you straight into a race without managing your bike. Quick Play is the same as Instant Action, except that you can edit your bike and mess around with the different parts of it before you start racing. Race Weekend is an online game mode that puts you in a race against other PSN/Xbox Live players. There is also a championship mode that is a series of different races with different bikes. Overall, SBK 08 is an inaccessibly difficult racing game with no career mode and good graphics (for the time).

Just like all the other Popcorn Arcade, Data Design Interactive and Conspiracy Entertainment games, Myth Makers: Orbs of Doom is a truly terrible game with majorly broken and unresponsive controls and N64 era graphics. The music is also no different to the other Myth Makers games. If you thought Ninjabread Man was bad, Orbs of Doom is even worse, particularly in the control department. You have to hold the Wii Remote vertically in this Super Monkey Ball clone. It'd be better if they had you hold it horizontally for this type of game. Overall, this is another DDI budget game that is even worse than the ones that came before it.

Rogue Warrior is a game with a reputation of being one of the worst games on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I think that it's an average game that can be fun. The story is about **** Marcinko, a real-life Navy 'killing machine', who is stopping a Russian and North Korean missile launch to destroy big American cities in the Cold War. Marcinko is voiced by Mickey Rourke, and on the Internet, the character is famous for constantly swearing whilst killing his enemies. The campaign itself is about 4 hours long, that's okay if you get the game at a cheap price. (But otherwise, it's too short) I found a few hilarious glitches where a dead enemy would get stuck in cover and shake about for a few seconds. There are also a few problems with the frame rate. It runs at 30fps, and regularly drops below that, particularly in a snowy sequence towards the end of the game, where it gets really jerky. So the campaign has a lot of problems, but you can still squeeze some fun out of it. At release, there was barely anyone playing multiplayer, and now, in 2015, there is no one there at all, so I couldn't get to play and review multiplayer. Overall, Rogue Warrior is an average game that is fun in the campaign (mostly). But unfortunately, and probably due to its bad reviews, multiplayer is silent, with no one wanting to play with you.

Ninjabread Man for the Wii is quite simply a bad game. There are 3 levels in it (4 if you include the training mission). However, this isn't too bad if you can get the game for a cheap price. The graphics look like they're from an average Nintendo 64 game, and the sword motion controls barely work. (although you can get through the game by using ninja stars) the enemies are cupcakes, jam sponges, wasps, and other sweet snacks. In each level, the objective is to collect electric rods (I don't know why that happens in a gingerbread and cake universe) so that you can activate a time machine for Ninjabread Man to escape to the next level. The game is about 2 hours long (with no additional modes) and has no storyline outside of being plunged into Candy Land to fight off enemy cakes. Ninjabread Man is a bad game that can be enjoyed, but only if you are in the mood for killing sugary food.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

You will most likely disagree that this game is getting a 8 from me. You might also be questioning, "What?! Wii U? Didn't even know Ghosts was on that." I have to say that Call of Duty: Ghosts is a really fun game, and yes, do expect more Wii U reviews in the future. So, the campaign has you play as Logan Walker, an ordinary soldier fighting with his brothers, Keegan and Hesh, and their Dad, Elias, in a stealthier than usual force called the Ghosts. That said, there are only a few more stealth missions than Modern Warfare, and all of them end up in a massive gunfight. This is fine by me but others may find this disappointing. You also have small sections where you play as your attack dog, Riley, and silently bite your enemies to death. Through all the campaign you are going after one man, Rorke, who was part of the Ghosts. The game ends in an unexpected twist ending that I'm not going to spoil. Overall, the campaign tries to be stealthy, but ends up being like Modern Warfare, except with more dynamic **** example, in the mission 'Federation Day', you are rappelling down a ****, shooting targets, but near the end of the mission, you're sliding through the window of the ****, shooting everything in your path.People who didn't like previous CoD campaigns aren't going to change their opinion here. As for someone like me, who enjoys the fun, exciting moments of Call of Duty's campaigns, will probably like Ghosts' campaign. Multiplayer is probably the first stop for professionals at CoD. Well, unfortunately the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Ghosts has hardly anyone online. Team Deathmatch may work, but more advanced modes like Domination will not, so unless you have a few Wii U friends who have the game, it's problematic. As for new modes, there's Cranked, a mode where you will have faster reloads and faster sprint, 2x Scoring, and a few other perks after you kill someone. Then, you must kill another player in the next 30 seconds, or you'll explode. Another new mode is Hunted, where you start off with a pistol and 12 bullets, and have to grab weapons from weapon drops to survive. There is also a 12 player limitation on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U versions of the game, and the problem with that is that the maps are quite large, so you might have trouble finding each other, where as PS4 and Xbox One players get 24 player limitations. You also get returning modes like Kill Confirmed. But you will most likely will not be able to play online on the Wii U version. That's why Squads, a new mode to the game, has a section called Wargame, where you can test your skills against Bots of any difficulty level. I personally think this is a really fun mode, and it should be a substitute for multiplayer fans. Another section of Squads is Safeguard, which is very similar to Modern Warfare 3's Survival, where you survive against a group of increasingly difficult enemies. Aside from new modes, though, Multiplayer and Squads are what you expect: perks, killstreaks, levelling up, prestiging and weapon customisation. The final mode of Call of Duty: Ghosts is Extinction, a mode where you destroy alien hives whilst fighting aliens, alone, with a few friends, or online (which has a better chance of working than Multiplayer or Squads.) This mode seems to combine Black Ops' Zombies mode and the more violent Left 4 Dead. Like the other modes, it is great fun. However, Zombies mode from Treyarch's Call of Duty games is the mode I prefer. On a side note, there is sometimes lag on the menu screen that seems to only happen on the Wii U and PC versions of Ghosts, and, being more specific to the Wii U version, the game can sometimes crash on startup, but fortunately, this doesn't happen very often. The Wii U version of Ghosts also has Off-TV-Play on the Wii U GamePad, and better graphics than the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, and, whilst the graphics don't look better than the PS4 version, they come close to looking like the Xbox One version. Overall, Call of Duty: Ghosts is certainly not the best in the series, but it's a nice addition offering a campaign full of exciting and fun moments, Multiplayer that works better on other versions, but not Wii U (unfortunately), Squads mode, with its team-based look on Multiplayer, and the excellent Wargame section and Extinction, a fun co-op alien survival mode.

A game with a title as hilarious as Chicken Shoot would be expected to be a bit like the classic NES game Duck Hunt. Well, It's a lot like that. The arcade mode has a few levels to complete. All of them are in different parts of the world, but the objective is the same each time: shoot respawning chickens in a small area until the chicken count in the corner of the screen runs out. This sounds and is simple, but many times I found the chicken count running out without taking me to the next level, instead letting me shoot a few more chickens before the results screen came up. This mode is fun if you're bored, but at other times the game can get quite boring, probably due to the constantly replaying music and simple objectives. I completed the arcade mode in just over an hour, but Chicken Shoot comes with a 2 player mode, as well as Classic Mode, based on previous versions of the game, such as the PC version. Overall, Chicken Shoot is a basic game that you can enjoy if you're in the mood, but one that can be quite boring if you're not in to these type of games. £30/$60 is absolutely not worth it at all, but its current price of £5/$10 is not too much for this Duck Hunt-style game.

This game starts out with a guy telling you how to kill people, and then you go into the Prelude. You think that this will be another fun and easy shooter, and then you get killed... This game kills you IN ONE HIT!! This is quite possibly one of the hardest games I've ever played, And I haven't played Dark Souls yet. However, aside the extremely high difficulty, this indie game is an addictive and fun topdown action game set in 1989. Hotline Miami is developed by a few people at Dennaton Games and published by Devolver Digital and Abstraction Games. This game also has a very catchy, memorable and cool soundtrack. At first glance, the game looks like a topdown, pixelated version **** like Saints Row (excluding the insane Saints Row 4) or Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. But when you play it, you will find it to be like an extremely difficult but simple topdown indie action game that has a great soundtrack, colourful visuals and fast-paced gory shootouts. There are also a few bosses, which, unlike regular enemies, take more than 1 hit to kill. Overall, Hotline Miami is an addictive, fun and colourful indie game with great music and fast-paced gameplay, it is only slightly let down by its ultra high and frustrating difficulty. One thing is guaranteed is this game, though: YOU WILL DIE. A LOT. There's even a trophy named 'Karma' awarded to you if you die 1000 times. Even though Hotline Miami is a really hard game, I still highly recommend it. And, until late August, it's in the Summer Sale on the PlayStation Store for £3.99/ $5.99. It includes Cross-Buy as well, allowing you to download the PS3 version of Hotline Miami for no extra cost. A must-buy indie game.

Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff

Jul 26, 2014
Based on the popular cartoon TV series, Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff is a free-to-play (but not free-to-progress) mobile game, which is clearly a copy of The Simpsons: Tapped Out. Quest For Stuff also looks like every other game that the developers (TinyCo) make. The story starts in Quahog, and the Griffin family (Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Brian and Stewie) have just received information that they had been cancelled for a second time. (Family Guy first got cancelled in 2002) When the Griffins (and everyone else in Quahog) arrive at City Hall for a town meeting, it turns out that Ernie The Giant Chicken cancelled Quahog's TV series (Family Guy) so Peter and the Giant Chicken have another fight (He already tried to kill Peter in Season 2, 4, 7 and 12) The fight ends up so chaotic that it destroys all of Quahog. Then the game starts. You have to rebuild Quahog and get all of its people back. A fan of the show will have fun with this, but if you play for 2 weeks and you don't spend any real money to get Clams and Dollars, the game will quickly get boring. In fact, this is one of the most money-grabbing games ever made. A whole Quest was made about spending real money, you had to buy a box of Dollars in order to get £2.99/$4.99 worth of Clams!! I would describe this game as free-to-play, but not free-to-progress. (like I mentioned earlier) There are also actions to complete within the many citizens of Quahog, these actions are all related to what the characters like to do in the show, like Peter dancing to Surfin' Bird, Jerome hosting Happy Hour at the Drunken Clam or Quagmire 'Giggity Strutting'. These actions all take quite a long time to finish. Like Peter's Overeat action, Pay a bunch of extremely valuable Clams or wait 6 hours for Peter to finish! Clearing blocks can also take a couple of hours, and some actions take a whole day to finish!!! The Quest For Stuff also gets monthly updates, the latest one being The Quahog Comic-Con Events, meaning that sci-fi nerds now surround Quahog, and if tapped can give you 2 Energy Drinks (The Comic-Con currency) There is also an extra block cleared in the update, so that it makes room for the Quahog Convention Centre and a hotel. Overall, Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff is a slightly above average money-grabbing iOS and Android mobile game that stays at a score of 6/10 if you plan not to spend any real money.

The Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc is a definite must-buy as it has 5 excellent Xbox Live Arcade games, which are: PAC-MAN Championship Edition, a great remake to PAC-MAN, with Championship Mode ( the original mode) Challenge Modes 1 and 2, and Extra Modes 1,2 and 3. Extra Mode 1 is Regular PAC-MAN, but with everything (including PAC-MAN's movement) sped up. Extra Modes 2 and 3 have little to no difference to Championship Mode. PAC-MAN Championship Edition is a great remake to an all-time classic arcade game. Score: 8/10. Next up on the Live Arcade Compilation Disc is Boom Boom Rocket, which is (in my opinion) the best game on the disc. The gameplay is like Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, even the logo font is stylised like Dance Dance Revolution. But in this game, you have to press the matching button to the firework just as it goes past the pink line. You do this in rhythm to the music. So, what songs did the developers (EA Pogo and Bizzare Creations) choose? They could have chosen modern pop songs, they could have used 1960s Rock and Roll, but they didn't choose those genres. Instead, They gave us 10 songs to play on. All of these songs are classic orchestra songs from the 1890s, remixed with Drum and Bass and Techno music. These songs are: Smooth Operetta, Rave New World, William Tell Overload, Hall Of The Mountain Dude, 1812 Overdrive, Valkyries Rising, Tail Light Sonata, Carmen Electric, Game Over Beethoven and Toccata And Funk. There are 3 difficulties: Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy is for newcomers or people who just want to enjoy the music and get everything right. Medium is for people who want to feel challenged, as the buttons come in larger amounts and run to the pink line faster. Hard is for experts only. There is also one piece of Downloadable Content, the Rock Pack, which includes 5 rock songs to play on. Boom Boom Rocket is a must-buy. The soundtrack and song choice is great, gameplay is excellent, and graphics are good. Score: 9/10. Next up on the Live Arcade Compilation Disc is Feeding Frenzy, a casual game about eating fish. In this game, you eat fish. Then you grow bigger after eating the small fish so you can eat the regular sized fish. Then you grow bigger to the big fish, although, you can't seem to eat sharks. That's the gameplay. It sounds boring, but it's really fun. On each set of levels, you play as a different fish. Feeding Frenzy is a great casual eating game with gameplay like Katamari Damacy and good-looking cartoony graphics. Score: 8/10. Next up on the Live Arcade Compilation Disc is UNO, a video game based on the card game, UNO. I haven't played the UNO card game and don't know the rules too well, so I'm not going to score this game. But if you know the rules of UNO well, this is definitely something for you. The final game on the Live Arcade Compilation Disc is Luxor 2, a good 3-in-a-row colour matching game. I'm not a big fan of the 3-in-a-row matching genre, but this is good fun. All you have to do is simply put the same coloured balls in a 3-in-a-row or more line. Doing this will explode the balls and put the line of balls back a little, temporarily preventing them from getting **** into the Pharoh's mouth. Luxor 2 is a good 3-in-a-row colour matching game, that is fun to play or watch. It has acceptable graphics as well. Score: 7/10. Also found on the Live Arcade Compilation Disc is 2 demos, which are of: Surf's Up: The Video Game and Viva Piñata. There are more exclusive demos available on Xbox Live Marketplace (now known as Xbox Store) if you have an Xbox Live account. There is also an outdated Xbox 360 Welcome Video showing you how to navigate the old 'Blade' Dashboard. There are 2 game trailers as well, of Shrek The Third: The Video Game and Viva Piñata. Overall, the Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc is a must-buy. It comes with PAC-MAN Championship Edition (8/10) Boom Boom Rocket (9/10) Feeding Frenzy (8/10) UNO (no score, still recommended to UNO fans) and Luxor 2 (7/10) and, the Compilation Disc is only about £5/$10 now, so why not buy it?

First off, this is NOTHING like the other Red Faction games, they are third-person shooters and open-world games. This is an arcade driving shooter. However, this game does have some fun challenges like checkpoint races and survival. It's worth its price of £1.49/$2.99 and it has some good shooting and driving levels. I will mention that the game gets difficult after the first few levels, and if you fail, Winters will insult you, making you want to hurl your controller at the screen. The overall game is definitely worth buying at its current price, but is certainly not as good as the other Red Faction games.

This is completely and utterly overrated. GTA Online is an online game included with GTA 5. First, the graphics are the same as the ones in GTA 5, which is definitely not a problem. The gameplay is the same as GTA 5, also, not a problem. The online community is absolutely horrible. Everyone just kills you on sight, and then there are some idiots that just steal your car or crash your plane into a mountain. GTA Online lacks about 75% of the realism of GTA 5. However, as you talk, either into a headset or into the PS Eye, your character's mouth will move. GTA Online had tons of glitches at launch, most of them have been removed since, however, some still remain. There are 'jobs' scattered all over Los Santos, which are fine. The deathmatches are part of the annoying community, but they are also fine. Overall, you don't need GTA Online. GTA 5 offers much, much more. GTA 5 has a great story, incredible graphics, interesting characters, incredible gameplay, and no horrible community. In fact, no community at all. Get GTA 5. However, do still try GTA Online. You might enjoy it.

The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return

This is a great all round package and is perfect if you have a Wii and a friend to bring over, because this game is great fun in 2 player mode. The voice acting is very bad, but it's not as bad as Mindjack, which is a great game, but is let down by the voice acting. The gameplay works incredibly well for Wii. The graphics show their age but they're still acceptable for Wii. The House of the Dead 2 has a boring storyline, which is: a big zombie outbreak has happened in Sunset Bridge and the zombies invade the city as well. However, the storyline in House of the Dead 3 is more interesting. The storyline is: G and Lisa are trying to find Lisa's father and kill Daniel Curien. Both games are 1 hour long, but are fun to replay. This is definitely worth its current price point (£10/$20) and is fun to play with a friend. The good parts are the gameplay and replayability. The bad parts are the laughable voice acting and the short campaigns. (Which are still replayable)

Flappy Bird

This game is really annoying but very addictive. The objective is simple: tap the screen to flap the bird and go through an unlimited set of Super Mario-style pipes. The slightest touch on a pipe will kill you. Flappy Bird is also an extremely unfair and challenging game. There are tons of YouTube videos about this, and several inappropriate comments have been sent to the creator of Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen. So, he took Flappy Bird off the App Store and Google Play Store. I am actually reviewing Flappy Bird: Remake, so there are advertisement pop-ups whenever you replay. There's not much else to say about Flappy Bird. It's not a good game, but it's just average. It's also very unfair and challenging, and the advert pop-ups are an annoyance. But, it's addictive and a nice way to pass 5 minutes.

I love Epic Games, and Gears of War is just as good as Bulletstorm, meaning that it's awesome!! The story is great, the characters are good, the gameplay is incredible, and the graphics are good!! Don't expect a look at online multiplayer on my Xbox 360 reviews, because I'm not going to get Xbox Live, and I hate online multiplayer, anyway. However, there are some minor bad things about Gears of War, which are the annoyingly dumb teammates (especially Dom) and the extremely frustrating 'kryll' enemies, which eat you alive if you don't stay in light, in act 2. Gears of War still gets a 10/10, though, and it's gotten extremely cheap now, so go buy it!!!

Need for Speed: ProStreet

I love driving games, and Need for Speed ProStreet is a fairly good one. You go into race days and play all of the events there. These events are Grip racing, Sector Shootout, where you beat record times in sectors, 1/4 mile drag, 1/2 mile drag, both of which are literally impossible to beat, and are bad modes as well. Finally, there is Time Attack and Drift. In all of these modes, you just do the same thing: drive down a race track. However, there is plenty of fun to have in all of the game modes, aside from 1/4 and 1/2 mile drag. At a lot of times during this game, as with every game, you will have to press the X button. It takes 2 presses of the X button for the game to respond, not 1. Overall, there are better Need for Speed games, but this one gets a 7/10.

I will give you a warning: full of adult jokes and also a very difficult game. The storyline is extremely basic, but the gameplay is average. A really good and funny minigame has you press buttons in rhythm to Peter's farting noises! Missions are split up into 3 sections. On Stewie's missions, you blast your way through stages packed with Bertram's minions. On Peter's missions, you punch bad guys in the face and move on, Streets Of Rage style! Brian's missions are stealthy sections, which are extremely difficult. If you get spotted by absolutely anyone in these sections, you will have to restart from your last checkpoint. There are also some 'cutaway' minigames, just like the show. These will have you mashing your buttons for a few seconds until you win or lose. The 'cutaways' are probably the best part of the game, though. So, overall, average game. Bad things are the storyline, frustrating difficulty and Brian's stealth missions. Good things are the 'cutaways' and Stewie's shooting missions.

Turbo: Super Stunt Squad

This game surprised me. The Turbo film, which, in my opinion, is an 8/10, was about racing. The snails did race in the taco cafe, but that was racing, not stunting. This game, however, plays a lot like a Tony Hawk game. You drive around Dos Bros Tacos and a few other locations, collecting pickups in stunting spots. This game reminds me of that slightly above average PS2 game, Room Zoom: Race For Impact, because you race in tiny locations. This movie game also has you doing slides on ramps and standing on your head, and also doing 'nosies'. There are also a few cheat codes which can be found on the internet. I thought there would be a story mode, trying to win the Indy 500, like in the movie. There is no online features, including multiplayer, which i bet is a big problem for loads of gamers, but, i mostly hate online multiplayer, and this game isn't really built for it. There is offline multiplayer, however. Overall, Turbo: Super Stunt Squad is a fun game, 1 player or 2 player, but the fact that there is no story mode or racing (except in the DS version) brings it down to a 7/10. But, after the recent price drop, this is a good game to get for yourself, or more likely, your kids.

i know, i know, why an 8/10?!! this game is one of the most fun in my collection, especially for trophy hunters like me. the gameplay is excellent, that is what makes the 8 in the score. however, the graphics are HORRIBLE and there is a lot of lag whenever a cutscene wants to start. i would have given the iron man 2 movie a 9/10. But this game is still really fun (at least in my opinion)

As my all time favourite CoD being World at War, i bought call of duty 3. this game could be completed in about 8 hours. But it's just a really nice shooter, it is a lot like the other CoDs, but call of duty is a great franchise. Multiplayer was good too. Overall, this is your typical first person shooter, buta really good one. in case you haven't noticed, i LOVE shooters.

After the slightly disappointing ( in my opinion) Bayonetta, i wasn't expecting much from PlatinumGames' new game Vanquish. when i got it, though, i was blown away!! everything i want in video games is here: slow motion shooting, big bosses, giant explosions and great graphics. also, one more thing, get out of your seat and go buy it!!! i got this for £4 as well.

This is one of the most underrated games ever! this is one of my favourite sonic games ever, aside from All Stars Racing Transformed and Generations. i will say that the camera controls are bad, and there is one major glitch, but apart from that, this game is a fun one. to start off, the opening cutscene's graphics on the princess's face look Amazing!! the major glitch is the fact that, occasionally, you can't get past act 1! i was fortunate to avoid this. Overall, great game.

Everyone hates this game. for me, it's hard to see why. a game which has a storyline of: you don't get invited to a party, so you get revenge instead. i was playing this game for ages, and i could never seem to stop having fun while killing teddy bears. you can either kill bears or scare them, killing gets you some points and is also really funny. there are special kills as well, like sticking a bear into a fridge until he becomes an ice block and my personal favourite: choking a bear with a telephone. if you scare a bear enough, they will kill themselves with whatever object they are carrying. if they have no object, they will pop. there is also some really good multiplayer, which is saying something because i mainly hate multiplayer and love single player. multiplayer has a lot more glitches, though. there are 4 multiplayer modes: Assault, Cake Walk, Golden Oozy and Jelly Wars. The only problem is the occasionally glitchy camera controls. overall, Naughty Bear is a game that i enjoyed, but you may not enjoy.

this game has a really hard opening level in which you have to hack computers and get out. the hacking is the hard part. you have 20 seconds to connect all of the lines up together, it sounds simple, but in fact, its not. through the game you go through 'interactive conversations' with people. mostly, i execute the people straight away. but the bad parts are the ridiculously inaccurate guns, making a battle with a boss 10 times harder. and one particular boss charges your position occasionally with a knife! so, apart from the rubbish aiming and that one annoying boss, alpha protocol is ok.

I bought this only because i wanted to experience the sandbox gameplay and the cool cutscenes. but the rest of the game isn't so good. the missions are okay but some of them like the 1st level of sunnywood are really hard to complete and if you quit the game and start again, you will have to start from the beginning of the level again! you can't quit a mission if it's not completed, which means you will be trying to get off that part of the game so you can explore las paradiso and the other locations. overall, worth medium amounts of money, it has an alien with a funny accent, weird telekinesis powers, brilliant sandbox gameplay and mediocre missions.

brilliant game, it is worth good money, but not too much money. free roaming in los santos and blaine county is really fun but you need to complete 1 or 2 of the heists before you can have some money-spending, car-exploding fun. what is bad is the police are sooooo mean in this game. if you look at a police officer for too long, the officer will shoot you! if you explode your own car in this game, cops. also, hospital bills cost way too much. overall, the cops were more generous in gta 4, but the graphics in gta 5 are the most amazing graphics i have ever seen! and the missions are fun, the choice of 3 characters is a nice addition and open-world gameplay is better than ever. grand theft auto 5 is a new gta game with near endless possibilities, the only annoyances are the cops and the hospital bills...

this game is quite good as it has fun alien fps sections mixed with a tiny bit of strategy gameplay and ship to ship battles (which are surprisingly short...) but what is bad is you only get 5 weapons in the game (pistol,KRAW,carbine, shotgun and rail gun sniper) and the fact that missions 5,6 and 7 are surprisingly more difficult than missions 1,2,3 and 4. overall it is okay but you should probably only get this if it is priced low enough, or if you loved the battleship movie and board game.
