Had to refund after 2 hours. It's an OK action-shooter but this game is by no means a worthy remake of the original RE2. First person view turns everything into a chore and removes any element of frustration that the weird camera angles and tank controls of the original introduced to the game (both of which were good things, strangely enough). Instead, you get the exact same modernized and streamlined gameplay that you will find in almost every other modern action-shooter. Meh.

Much more complete than the previous installment. The levels feel well thought out, complex enough and offer quite a bit of replayability. I like the fact that the series is sticking to its roots, which is what most crybabies seem to complain about in this review section. In fact, these casual "gamers" would probably want stuff like driveable cars and jetpacks in the game just so they get "something new". For everyone else, 5 big new levels are good enough (although back in the day you'd get double that for the same amount of money). I also liked the difficulty, which is adjustable and offers quite a bit of a challenge when you turn it up to the maximum and disable instinct completely. What I didn't like was the intrusive anti-cheat, which is why I torrented the game (denuvo, lol) and played the pirated version before actually buying it. All in all, recommended.

Played it for about 2 hours. Followed a girl. Almost fell asleep. Then I grabbed some car keys and I ran over some bad guy with a car. Later on, I encountered a very generic slimy black monster that didn't provide enough of a challenge. I kept encountering those black slimy monsters and the crazy dude from the car fight. Then I saw Nemesis pop out of a corner and he yelled "this is so damn cringe" at me. I agreed with Nemmy and uninstalled the game. Luckily I was still within the 2-hour limit and received a steam refund.

None of the core issues of WoD are resolved: - You still click buttons and receive free gear. You can even get legendaries from quests now. - The game still feels very impersonal. Server blending, server hopping + easy alts (you can buy lvl 100 characters) completely remove the sense of community from the game. - Most of the world is still useless. Sure, you will be doing quests in the new areas, but all the low level areas will be empty. Professions are a joke, as you don't even need to get materials from the low level zones anymore (for the sake of being able to have a lot of alts with maxed out professions). - Rewards don't really feel like rewards.. I mean, you start the expansion with legendary weapons..... - Classes have no weaknesses. PvP is more about spamming all your abilities and hope that at some point the opponent's cooldowns won't be up fast enough, instead of actually exploiting the weaknesses of certain classes. - The customer support is subpar comparatively to vanilla/tbc/wrath. Now, let me also mention some things that were introduced with Legion and make absolutely no sense at all: - Scaling levels on EVERY new creature....... I don't even know anymore.. Am I playing World of Warcraft? Maybe they should rename the game to "World of scaling realities and multiple possibilities". Why is the entire world instanced all of a sudden? - Nothing PvP related has been released, for now. They're more focused on releasing new battle pets and cosmetics it seems. - Terrible class balancing. - The expansion had MANY bugs at release and the game still crashes a lot on certain systems (error 132 has been very common ever since beta and hasn't been resolved still). All of the above make WoW look more like a facebook minigame, rather than the great MMO it once used to be. You can't really blame Blizzard for that however. The average gamer just has much lower standards these days. It's just sad that Blizzard used to be this revolutionary developer and now they've hit rock bottom, releasing one cash grab after another, while still somehow being #1 in popularity among gamers.

Surprised that games like this actually draw that much attention from the gaming community. I guess the average gamer nowadays is dumb, over-consumeristic and likes throwing money left and right for no reason whatsoever. Yeah, that goes to all you who preordered this game. Can't wait for the next over-hyped title after this one... Meanwhile, more and more publishers are adopting this strategy and the number of good videogames released every year is plummeting. Guess it's time to find a new hobby...

Literally 0 decision-making involved. 30-card decks and mana limitation means that every game is decided by RNG. You can only play 1 card in pretty much every turn,so if RNG decides that your opponent draws better cards or cards that counter your cards, you just lose the game and vice versa. Also, the community is **** (I mean, they still play the game, duh).

It's an ok shooter game. Good graphics, fast paced action and it gets challenging at times. The soundtrack is also really good. The levels are pretty linear however. You pretty much only move forward, so the game basically plays itself, instead of making you think where you need to go next. Very few cards are playable, which leads to monotonous and repetitive gameplay. Also, for some reason both Blizzard and their audience think that this is a TCG and treat is as such. I like to treat it as a videogame, because that's exactly what it is. They don't print cards, you can't trade cards and you shouldn't spend hundreds of dollars for virtual cards that are designed to be bad on purpose. When they stop releasing one expansion after the other and instead try to rework some of the existing cards, I might reinstall the game, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen. Blizzard and greed are synonyms it looks like.

A bunch of amateurs once created this fun moba game. It was indeed very interesting and grew really big throughout the years. 7 years later, it's still the same amateurs running the company, although now they have evolved into greedy amateurs. The game HASN'T GOTTEN ANY BETTER throughout the years. The only thing that changed is the amount of skins and champions. Instead of adding variety to the game, they removed it. They also removed solo-queue recently and replaced it with that new game mode called "carry, or get carried by the eloboosters", where you can queue up with your friends and increase your personal elo rating (notice how queuing with friends = personal rating o.0). Furthermore, the community in this game has the mental capacity of a 5 year old. If somebody bullies us, we tell the teacher. Obviously Riot has taken advantage of that situation and permabans accounts at the drop of a hat. This benefits both the 5 year olds (who are happy the bully got banned) and obviously Riot (who is basically scamming their customers, taking away what they paid for). But the community is so overwhelmed by the hatred for their fellow co-players that they don't realize they're acting like sheep. Overall, a great atmosphere. I give this game a 4, but honestly as a veteran player and gamer I'm really disappointed by Riot Games, as I am by most North American publishers lately. Too greedy. My suggestion would be to actually play the game but NEVER spend any money. Also, do not take it very seriously, especially while playing ranked.

A true gem among the hundreds of dull/rushed games that exist on most major digital distribution platforms. It's also one of the very few adventure/puzzle games that don't use silly hand-drawn graphics. You take the role of Inspector Jenks. Your assignment is to question the residents of a small town about the recent death of a young girl. You must then find the contradictions by examining your notebook. Occasionally you might have to pick up an item such as a key to proceed with the story. The acting is great and the character are what I liked the most about this game. I guess my only complaint is that the game gets a bit repetitive (question-inspect-find contradiction-repeat). I'd definitely give it a 10/10 if it incorporated more "adventure elements", such as thoroughly investigating areas and also more interaction with the environment. Nevertheless, a must-buy for such a low price and keep in mind that there will probably be sequels too.

Great game. The story and the soundtrack are really the two points that stand out from the very beginning. The graphics are hand drawn and the animations are limited. I'm personally a fan of more realistic graphics (like those in Dracula:Path of the Dragon for example) but some people prefer a more simplistic approach. I think the former would suit this game very well though. It's not a lengthy game by any means. I managed to finish it in about 5 hours while checking every area thoroughly. It is however very atmospheric. Overall, a great experience I would say !

Quite a unique game. People who are used to playing casual games (pretty much 99.9% of what's available on steam) will probably hate the gameplay of Miasmata, as it is indeed slow paced and requires patience. Your goal in this game is to collect specific herbs around the map and form the 3 different parts of the cure to your illness. However, the more you play, the sicker and weaker your character gets, so you will always be on the look for other herbs that boost your stats temporarily. Needless to say, you are not familiar with your surroundings at the very beginning, so you need to slowly reveal the map on your own, by using the triangulation system. This is the most interesting part of the game, since there is absolutely no way to beat the game unless you pretty much reveal most of the map and collect most clues (there is quite a bit of strategy involved). Your enemies in this game will be the illness, fatigue, cliffs (if you fall off of them) and the weird looking monster of the island that makes its appearance every now and then. It's definitely not a walk in the park. The graphics are quite pretty, although they could be even better. Neat little soundtrack too. They did release an update that fixed most of the bugs, so I'd say it's quite playable now. Overall, it's definitely a completely new experience and a rather enjoyable one. They could have done some things better, I agree, but judging by the fact that it was made by only 2 people, I'd say they did an amazing job. Hopefully there will be a sequel in the future, or at least something similar.

A very well made adventure/detective game. Games like this are quite rare nowadays, since most publishers tend to go for cheap "cartoony" graphics instead. Luckily, this game is not all about the graphics either. Every single one of the 5 cases that I've played so far has been interesting and unique. The voice acting is great too. If I were to name one of the game's weak points then it would probably be the difficulty of the puzzles, as they are not too hard for the seasoned adventurer, but definitely not "casual easy" either.

A true adventure/horror game, unlike many games that are marketed as such. The atmosphere is excellent and the storyline captivating. The gameplay is a perfect mix of exploration, combat and puzzle solving, so it does never become boring. It's a quite lengthy game overall but there are always enough hints on where you need to go and what to do next. Most of the time you have to "exorcise" a specific ghost with your camera which then unlocks a door on another part of the mansion. There are usually "hotspots" near each obstacle that tell you what you need to do in order to overcome it, by just taking a photo of them. What's interesting is that each ghost behaves on its own way, so you can never really predict what you are about to face next or whether you will be able to deal with it, without taking any damage. The only things that could be better in Fatal Frame 3, in my opinion, are the controls which are a bit slow and unresponsive and the "meh" voice acting. Overall, it's an excellent game game that every fan of adventure/horror should play,

This is a true survival/horror game. Unlike most modern games of its genre, you don't simply shoot your way through endless waves of zombies with your overpowered shotgun that has unlimited ammo. Instead, you have to manage the resources that are given to you in order to survive. The gameplay revolves around making your way through the rooms of the building. You will find many obstacles along your way and also monsters that you will have to kill or sneak by. The difficulty of the game is just right as it's not overly simplistic but not ridiculously hard either. The atmosphere is great despite the retro style, 2d graphics, although I can see that being a reason for many people to dislike the game The music is very fitting too. I can't really comment on the storyline, since I haven't beaten the game yet but it definitely has a surreal tone to it. I wouldn't go that far, saying that it's a masterpiece but it is certainly an enjoyable game that fans of old school survival horror games will love.

After completing the game in just 4 hours I have mixed feelings about it. Let's start with the game's strong points. First of all, even though the graphics might not be the best, the atmosphere is overwhelming, like it should be in a horror game, but apart from that there are only a few moments in the game that you get scared and most of the time they don't last for a long time (it's either a sudden loud noise, or a door slamming in your face). The story is well written, even though I personally didn't like it that much, so I guess that's a plus as well. Finally, the soundtrack is really really nice and it's probably what I enjoyed the most in my playthrough. While the above are probably enough reasons for somebody to buy the game, allow me to mention its main weaknesses. First of all there is barely any "gameplay". Apart from a couple of fairly easy puzzles (like moving an object from 1 place to another and activating some switches) there is not much more you do in the game. Personally, I remember maybe 2 instances that I actually had to sneak past a pigman and about 2-3 more that I got chased by some larger enemies and actually took some damage. That is all. The adventure element isn't exactly there either. You don't even have an inventory, so it's more like an exploration game interactive story, which this makes it an easy game with no real replayability. Overall, I wouldn't say that the game is really bad or really good. Some people will love it, some people won't like it at all. My rating would be a 6.5 if I could give that, since the weak gameplay kinda ruins it for me.

First person mode aiming for every weapon, and all the cool melee moves, interrogating the guards, shooting them in the leg were all fun stuff to do... Why "modern" WoW is bad: First of all there isn't a world anymore. In a normal world you get to know people, know their strengths, their weaknesses. It used to be that way in WoW too, back when each player didn't own 30 alts on his account, 30 on a friends account and 30 more on his grandma's. Instant lvl 80, RaF and all this crap. Also, in a normal world there aren't 50 different versions of Elwynn Forest like there are in WoW (*cough *cough server hopping). Not to mention the good old summoning stones that actually required 2 people to fly to instance for a summon (at least they still exist in raid dungeons).. If you think about it they have cut down the time required on a lot of things (from looting to getting on your mount) Dailies. Did I say dailies? Are those quests? Those little dots that appear on the minimap? Those little dots that you just follow and just start clicking buttons mindlessly? You don't even have to do any research about the legendary quest... It just pops up in the middle of your god damn screen. DAMN, that's some hardcore gaming right there. Thank you Wowhead we won't need you again, back to farming dots for our alts. Of course since everyone is busy playing on all of their 8 alts each day, nobody can play ANY class well. And of course nobody has the proper gear for the raid dungeon he is about to attempt.. So we make raid dungeons have no requirements. You can basically enter with uncommon gear and clear it in no time. Hooray, that was fun. I understand that there weren't that many """"""""""gamers""""""""""" using the internet back in 2004, but ruining a good game for those casual players who think that they are paying for an enhanced version of plant vs zombies is simply unacceptable.

Bad implementation of the F2P model. You start the game with only 3 decks available to you (you get ~15 cards from ea and you are pretty much forced to play one of them until you open a good amount of booster packs, which will take you a couple of weeks. They could just let you pick like 10-15 cards from a large card pool and hand out the rest to you randomly, but instead they match you against players with complete custom decks. The game just isn't fun to play if you keep getting stomped by better decks and can't do anything about it (at least for free). Someone might argue with the above paragraph, saying that every deck can win if played correctly, using the right strategy... WRONG! Deck strength means a lot in this game. There are cards that are utter sh.. and lots of them are included in the starter sets. Also, the player who gets first to level 4 usually has a huge advantage, since he can pretty much always play two level 3 cards straight away and get a big advantage on the board. Usually this is enough to win him the game, unless the enemy deck is better. Well, that's fun and clearly involves a lot of strategy... It might be a fun game to play when you have every card available to you and there might be some decks that may produce great games when matched against each other but most of the time, there's not much room for skill to be involved.

Neat little RPG, that will keep you busy for quite some time (especially on hard/insane mode). You can customize your characters by choosing between 2 abilities on level-up and also by selecting different weapons/armor (you can find those on chests or buy them from the shops located in each city). New characters join you throughout the game and you can have up 4 in your party. This becomes very important on harder difficulties, since your party must be well balanced in order to survive the multiple waves of enemies that you will encounter. Even though your HP replenish after each fight, you will soon run out of mana if you are not careful and just spam spells. This is what makes the game difficult, but sadly, the difference between normal and hard mode is chaotic. Basically in normal mode you will almost never run out of mana, while in hard mode you might even have trouble surviving against the first couple of packs. Overall, this game is definitely worth buying. For under $2 you get hours of gameplay that is more entertaining than what many "new generation" games have to offer. Go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it.
