ARC Raiders7

I was originally not impressed with this game but have come around a bit. For someone that likes collecting loot, I do think it's fun to sneak around hiding from arc and players and building up my arsenal. I'm also starting to find that most of the player interactions are positive, which might be the implementation of an aggression filter that matches people based on the pvp they partake in. So dying from players and losing progress seems to be less common now. Visually it looks pretty good and the arc is pretty fun to fight. Overall though my main criticism is the depth of the gameplay. It's basically loop and after a few months you'll begin to wonder why you are still playing with no clear goal or end game. I would like to see the PVE component expanded.

Went back to 2023 after 4hrs and requested a refund. This game is beyond a joke. The handling is the worst I've seen in any F1 game to the point that it's not even playable. For the life of me, I don't understand how they keep messing this up. Just leave the physics alone. Trying to reinvent the physics every single year is just a terrible idea and is ruining the game.

On top of this game being the exact same as 2022, it's completely full of bugs. Feels like a beta with how buggy it is. Race 2, playing RB, full confidence and setup. One driver knocked out by another, both of which slammed into the wall, but the other car makes it out unscathed. Then max during safety care "locks up" and drops from 1st to last. This should tell you everything you need to know about the realism of this game and how ultimately annoying it is. I was on the fence about buying this, and I'm now regretting that I did. after 2 days of playing, I'm not sure I will play it again.

The game has lots of potential but there are a few things that I think were absolutely terrible design choices that sort of destroy the game. 1. Way to large and expansive for no reason. They went to far with the open world concept. I don’t need 100 copy and pasted planets. 2. Way too many loads screens. It feels like half the game is just watching load screens as you make multi step fast travels to get to various locations. 3. Inventory management is atrocious. Everything including equipped gear and resources use bag space which is laughably small. Pick up a few items and you’re over the limit. Try to store them on the ship, nope that’s full too. Ok sell them, nope venders don’t have enough money, or you have to stop at multiple venders because venders will only by item types they sell. Make stuff with them? Nope not high enough level or you’re missing a few things. I’m about 40hrs into this game and I already cannot acquire any more items because all of my inventory space is full and I can’t use any of my resources. Why they decided to make an expansive game where every item can be picked up, but then limit inventory space to such a small amount is game breaking to me. I’ve spent more time managing inventory than shooting enemies which is not good.

This game feels more like what I think everyone has been expecting these games to be. The driving feels 10x better than 21 and 22 which were atrocious. Traction feels way more realistic now and you’re not spinning at every corner. AI is also finally much smarter and doesn’t just try to drive through you. F1 world is the mind of thing that I think I everyone knew should have been in the game and for a while for some reason it was just left out. This is the “My Team”/mmorpg-esq aspect of this game. The main thing I like about it is the various challenges and unique scenarios that lot of other racing games employ as a way to give you other fun things to do other than just career, time trail, and multiplayer. Overall, for me it’s definitely an improvement from 2022/21.

I'm about 8hrs in an so far really like the concept of this game and see a lot of potential in it. It's not perfect, but I think the core game is good and you can spend a lot of time playing it which to me is money well spent. As a TCG player and fan of turn based rpg's like final fantasy, I really enjoy the combat of this game. It's sort of a multifaceted strategy game with marvel characters and lore which is fun. The combat also lets you play at your own pace with no real time limit so it's a low stress game. I also like that in addition to the strategy aspect of the combat, outside of combat the game functions like an rpg where you're collecting materials, leveling up characters, improving equipment, learning new abilities, building reputations, etc. I'm haven't played long enough to get a sense for the speed of progression but so far I don't feel I'm going to have to grind to progress comfortably through the story. My main issues with the game are more ancillary. I think the dialog is a bit cheesy and cliche at times. There are some moments where it tries to be cheeky and funny but the jokes fall flat. So overall the dialog and acting is a bit less than convincing, but it's hard to stack up to what we are used to with the MCU, and for me I this stuff doesn't take away from my ability to enjoy the game. Another issue I have is with the pacing between combat, and non-combat things. The combat is what makes this game unique and fun. But I find myself many times longing for when I can get on with the next encounter. I also find it interesting that so far, most of the "missions" are single encounters, though I have a feeling that's going to change a bit more as I progress. So it feels more like an rpg character builder, with a strategy game thrown in, than the other way around. Some of this is also I believe because in the beginning of the game, there are for more narrative based things to acclimate you to the games plot, and how things work. Once you get through the introduction stuff, it will probably speed up as you have a lot more free reign to do what you you want. If you want to just do a bunch of missions in a row you can do that instead of exploring the abby. Finally, I think the customization feel expensive and unfulfilling. I don't know where devs are getting this idea that gamers want to customize their house or room, or whatever. If I wanted to do that, I'd go play sims. What's the motivation for doing harder difficulties when essentially my only reward for doing so is table, picture frame, or t-shirt. I'm literally sitting on credits for this stuff because I just could care less about it. So for me this games combines to genres that I really like, sot of like what destiny did for mmorpgs and FPS games. If instead you are looking for a fast past action combat game like avengers was, then this is not it. If your're looking for strategy driven turn based game, like a card or table top game, then you'll really enjoy this game.

Probably the worst racing game I've ever played. It's an exact copy of the previous game but in this game you can buy couches and furniture. The handling and traction is even worse that 2021 where it was already a major problem. The game is not even playable because of how bad the traction is. You'd probably have more traction in rally car on ice that you would in this game even though f1 cars have the more downforce than any other car. The AI is totally broken is just goes so much faster than you down straights. They claim to have fixed this bug but they haven't. Tons of other bugs in this game. AI will just ram you. Online takes forever to find a game, and trying to finish a race clean is next to impossible (see traction). Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME if you want to maintain any sanity.

Overall I think this is one of the better halo's. Maybe not halo 2 or 3 (still the best in my opinion) which are classics, but I believe it's in the top half. The campaign is fun and I really like the open world concept which gives me a bit more freedom to play the game according to my style, or just straight up kill enemies for fun, or explore the map. I just think it's a little on the short side compared to similar games with similar gameplay like assassins creed, fallout, etc. Multiplayer feels ok. Again not as good as 2 or 3, but it feels good enough to enjoy. Some guns I think are kind of useless in multiplayer, the TTK is a little long, but overall the game still feels pretty good, has decent maps, decent features, and decent game types. Nothing earth **** here, but I do think the multiplayer is very playing and is still fun. I like the cosmetics but I don't like the way the battle pass works. I'm not a challenge doing person, I just like to play my way and still get xp but that's not the case here. So overall it's between an 8-9 for me. It's not a perfect game, but overall I feel pretty good about it as far as halo goes and have generally enjoyed it thus far even though I do have a couple of gripes with things.

Simply put, this game is too hard. I’m a very experienced FPS player and since the beta I have not been able to even complete the first act. After failing the first act on easy mode 10x I just uninstalled the game. I’m not playing every mission 50x just to compete the game. I want a game to be fun, not a chore. It seems to me that the difficulty of this game was tuned with 4 man groups of highly skilled and coordinated players in mind. But if you’re playing with bots or randoms with no mics, you have no chance at being successful and having any fun with this game.

This game had a lot of potential but the combat really forces me to give this a mediocre rating. The entire game is predicated on the parry and dodge system but it’s clunky at best. Your character animations are slow like you’re some big ogre and once you begin an animation, you can’t block or dodge until it’s completed this leads to combat that isn’t dynamic because you have no choice but to just sit and wait for the enemy to attack so you can parry, get a swing in, then stop and wait again. You can’t be fighting with quick twitch movements like in a fighting game because you can’t quickly block incoming attacking while you’re in the middle of swinging your saber. You can’t interrupt your own attacks. What this all means is that so much damage feels unavoidable because you just can’t block in time because you’re stuck in animations. Now throw in a big group of enemies, forget it. You’ll probably either die, or lose a good chunk of health in the process. I’ve been playing video games for the better part of 30yrs and am usually very good at most games and even easy mode was punishingly difficult for this reason. Given the above, and the system of meditating and healing up after each section also seems to suggest they expect you to take a lot of damage. It would not be plausible to go most of a mission with little to no damage. I also think the system of making you lose all of your XP on death then recovering it by attacking the enemy who killed you is aggressive and unnecessary.

This could honestly be one of the worst games I’ve ever played. This game was probably fun for about 30min then it was all downhill from there. Had to stop playing after about 5-10hrs because it was so painfully bad. I don’t think I’ve ever not finished a game until this one. This game is literally just a giant sandbox with 0 purpose. You can face the final boss immediately, there is no leveling system, no equipment you get to keep, there is literally 0 reason to kill or do anything in this game. Everything feels completely pointless other than just so you can mess around and kill time. The weapon breaking system where everything breaks after 3 hits has got to be the dumbest **** I’ve ever seen put into a game. Who ever came up with this idea should be shot. There is no leveling system to help you get stronger other than finding shrines for hearts which is more work that it’s worth (which is a theme in this game) so every enemy literally one shots you (again meaning there is 0 reason to even fight anything) It’s really pretty dumbfounding how bad and flawed this game is. None of these devs should have jobs in the video game industry for approving this dumpster fire. The only idiots who like this game are Zelda fan boys, and Minecraft nerds who just want to frolick around a a sandbox with no real guiding purpose.

The only thing that makes this game fun imho opinion is the variety of the characters. Each one is unique which helps spice up the the game. The game also looks pretty good. Other than that, I think this is a very weak game that feels unfinished. It ultimately feels more like a beta than a full game. First of all the lack of content is astounding. After a few hours I felt like I had already finished the game and experienced everything it had to offer. There was literally no purpose for playing the game further. There is no ranking system, no competitive play, no clans, no campaign, no alternative game modes. Just one mode, 2 gametypes, that's it. The aiming also feels very strange in this game. I am an experienced FPS player and I'm still struggling to get a handle on this games aiming. I am yet to find a sensitivity that seems to work for me. The maps are pretty straight forward and inventive. Each one feels like the same map just with a different skin. They are all linear with a few offshooting pathways here and there. You can tell there are some slight balance issues between the characters that needs to be addressed. A handful of them appear clearly stronger than the others, and vice versa there is a handful that seem underpowered compared to the rest. Most matches consist of the same 10 or so characters. This game also forces you to play with a group of friends. Unlike other shooters, this game is heavily reliant on teamwork, communication, team composition. It's not a game where a collective of individual skilled players can easily dominate. If a coordinated team of mediocre players goes up against 6 isolated but good players, the coordinated team will probably win. This isn't necessarily a flaw, but something to be considered if you are mostly a solo gamer, like me. Finally, it lacks conceptual innovation. It's feels like a complete rip off of TF2, even to the point that many of the characters play the same. Overall what the game does have I think was done ok. Things work, it's solid, it more or less plays like you can tell it was intended to play. However, it just feels like a half finished game. It feels like the beta **** that would be awesome if given another year to polish it up and add some content.

Overall OW is a decent game, but not perfect. The gameplay is relatively solid. The game plays like it is supposed to and things seems to work. No major bugs. All the heroes are pretty fun and unique. Each won has a different style and is fun to play in it's own right. The scoring seems relatively fair and balanced. The interface makes sense is relatively easy to navigate. However, what holds this game back for me, first and foremost, is the lack of content. There is essentially 1 game mode and that's it, and within that game mode there are only 2 gametypes. The maps all feel pretty much the same as well. They're all pretty linear making the map a more or less negligible element of the match. There is no reward system that seems to drive you to play or achieve something. For me, the game feel unfinished. Like it's a late stage beta or something. There just isn't enough content to keep players hooked for a considerable period of time. Most players will burn out after a month or two. The game is solid, well made, and works like it's supposed to. Basically this game doesn't have any errors per se, but it doesn't have any shining accolades either.

I got this game for free as part of an xbox gold promotion. I was really excited to play since I love hockey. I literally played about 3 games and was done with it. No original modes. No drills to learn the different aspects of the game, terribly stupid AI, terrible deke system, terrible face off system, opponents that skate terribly faster than you, opponents that just dodge your every hit and and go 1v5 against your entire team, friendly AI that just watching the puck, etc. This game is so bad it caused me to destroy a controller out of sheer frustration. Don't buy this game, don't rent this game, don't borrow this game. It will do nothing but take hours out of your day that you will never get back.

Good: -Graphics -Music -Concept -Feeling of the guns. Bad: -Unbalanced multiplayer -limited pve content -poor boss and fight design -no social/chat system in an mmo game -pricing structure for dlc -story -dialog -weapon balance -reward system -poor multiplayer map design -full of bugs and glitches I expected this game to be a gamechanger in the gaming community. I thought this was going to be the next world of warcraft. It's just another mediocre FPS like CoD, halo, that you'll play for a month and then get bored or become to frustrated with unbalanced multiplayer, lack of content, glitchy fights, and boring boss mechanics.

I had very high expectations for this game and for some reason I figured this was it. This was going to be the cream of the crop. The game that would be so perfect I would play it for years. I was wrong. This game is not innovative or different from the other COD's but frankly that is not the reason for my bad rating. I don't mind a recycled game, as long as they simply polish the old one and make it better. They did fix a few things in this game but at the expense of breaking others. Overall I would give the campaign a 7. Mostly because it was way to short. should have been about twice as long. Yeah it's a bit repetitive but it was still fun. Even those who gave this a poor rating have to admit that there aren't really that many other FPS's who overall have as good of campaigns as COD. The multiplayer on the other hand is total garbage. I would give the multiplayer a 2. Just so many things wrong with it. Prob the worst multiplayer out of mw1, 2, waw, bops. Could be because sledgehammer worked on the multiplayer. who knows. Anyway here are some of the problems I've seen with the multiplayer. 1. The lag compensation is horrible idea. Worst invention in gaming. For those who don't know what that is, its basically an artificially induced lag on those with good connections. In theory this sounds like a good idea but it never works. Basically your playing a game with everyone lagging. Ever have a situation where you turn a corner only to be killed in .01sec by what seems like a single bullet and a player with godlike reflexes, only to see on the killcam that he in fact saw you for quite some time and fired a hail of bullets? You can thank lag compensation for that. 2. The maps are horrible. They're full of choke points that make objective games unfair depending on where your spawning. They are many times one sided giving the lucky team the spawns with the high ground, allowing them to pin you into a corner. They lack open space with long distance shooting lanes. Everywhere you turn your view is obstructed by something forcing nothing but close quarter combat. 3. quickscoping, nuff said.
4. Bullet dmg is weak. Makes it tough to quickly snap and kill multiple enemies unless they are in a line since you waste 5sec and half a clip to kill the first which by then his teammate has killed you. Long distance kills have become super difficult because now people have plenty of time to duck behind cover after being hit by the first spray of bullets. After every game take a look at the assists. There are now tons of them because nobody can finish off their own kills. When it only takes 3-4 bullets to kill someone, that doesn't leave much time for a teammate to come in and steal your kill but 5-6 is plenty of time for them to pop off one bullet after they see you firing. I even had 9 assists just by myself in one TDM game. WTF is that!
5. Most killstreaks are completely OP. Black ops I actually think had a decent balance of killstreaks. Dog's and the chopper gunner were easy to counter with rockets our your own gun. 6. Giant names above enemies is dumb. I used to pride myself on being able to stop a tiny spec of an enemy across the map, now they just gave everyone that ability with 6inch name plates that pop up if they aim anywhere near me. No point in even hiding behind cover because if even so much as your pinky toe is sticking out your full name shows up. These name plates also block your view. The stupid things sits right on top of the guy and I can't even see what I'm shooting at. 7. Spawns are decent but have their moments. I've literally been spawned 10ft in front of an enemy or right in the line of fire between 2 people. However, I do see less of situations where the entire team all of a sudden starts spawning right on top of you and your pro camp spot. 8. Kill confirmed gametype is completely dumb. At the very least show us how many tags we've collected along with our overall kills. Yeah Mripwnnewbs might have 50 kills but is he even picking up any dog tags? We have no way of knowing. 9. Headquarters is still luck based. Keeps one team constantly spawning on the new location. Frankly it's kinda a flawed gametype to begin with but w/e.
10. Create a class interface is cumbersome. When customizing certain aspects of my gun (attachments, camo, etc. ) I should have to keep going through all the menus of choices to get to the one I want. there should be separate menus for each of those things like in bops. I also hate the killstreak interface. I hate how if I go from say, assault to support for example just to unlock or switch my selection, it automatically switches me to that type. I can't tell you how many times I've started a game with the wrong killstreak package because I switched it on me when all I wanted to do was unlock somehting new or reselect my 3 choices for future use. So far no COD has held my attention better than MW1. It was simple and polished.
