Star Wars: The Old Republic8

My first impressions (after a year since playing the beta, which i loathed) is that SWTOR is a good MMO with lots of potential for growth and improvement; it does seem to be interested in being the star wars mmo that the people want, though they are moving a bit slowly on the 'f2p', or 'premier account' option; i bought the $5 digital upgrade pack for the speeder and the 'premier pack' at $10 (about 1000 cartel coins) for the early speeder access and a couple of other things (only affects one character)... so $10/character gets you a very playable game, plus the $5 for the account, all characters -read my full breakdown on tumblr: ****/post/44304219941/my-swtor-review-of-sorts-that-is-too-big-for-a-raptr

I have played a rogue to level 10 without spending any money on the game. I could have kept playing but decided to buy the new expansion, underdark. It is for level 17 characters, but I really liked the game and I got a good deal on some points as a bonus buy for getting the collectors edition. Now I have more than enough and don't feel the need to favor farm at all. It is fun for free but it is even more fun if you spend a little money on it. You can choose how you want to play, all free or half-pay, or full-pay. Up to you. . I have heard that it is impossible to go to 20 on just free content, but I have also heard it has been done. What matters is that you are having fun. If not, then don't play. I think it is the best game out there right now. I play all of them a little, just to at least see how they are. Nothing is as fun as this one. Some come close... i am enjoying PlanetSide almost as much. . The key to this game is to find your own style of play. There are 'unlimited' customization options, really. Maybe you like to tank, maybe dps, maybe heal, or maybe freestyle. All is possible. Enjoy. ;]

if you can get past the blizzard fanboy lovefest that people have who are blinded by their brand of bull... ...then maybe you made it here where the reviews are a bit more critical I am happy to see the 3/5 rating on ****, as that is what I gave it on ebay, where it has a 4.5/5 rating, of course (they think they are reviewing the seller, generally, lol this game is the same as the 1999 game, except for better graphics, and a few interface improvements, like being able to control more than 8 units at a time the gameplay boils down to a sort of machine like formula that takes about 5 minutes to pull off; so for 5 minutes you are basically jerking off, then you shoot your load at the 'enemy' and hope they don't shoot you first, or whatever... possibly the game goes beyond 10 minutes, but basically it is the loser refusing to quit while the winner has to chase them down to kill their last building; if you don't win in the first 5 minutes, you lose that is all lol, stupid blizzard, stick to wow, quit milking your oldschool bs (have you SEEN the new diablo? lol) ;}
