Wait, what?! That's it?! Where's the rest of it? For a 1h 30m film, this holds up extremely well. Every aspect of this film is high quality, well-written, and well-thought-out. And now you're telling me there is no sequel? WTF?! For the first 10 minutes of this film, I immediately wanted a Second Film, and by the end, I knew it needed one. Now, in a technical sense, I should rate this a 10/10; however, due to its short Run Time, the film has no time to keep the wheels turning. It ends without saying anything more, not even explaining anything; it just ends. Why? Lionsgate, we need the Sequel. I want to see Anderson and Dredd up against another day of crime in Mega City One. If you can make 59 John Wick films, then you can fund a sequel to this 8/10 film, which is a 10/10 masterpiece. The Artistic feel and grimness of this film are unlike anything else in the film industry. If you haven't watched this film, you need to see it and pray that we get another one more than a Decade later. If the Sequel, whenever we get it, is even better than this one and is a continuation of the storyline of Dredd and Anderson, I will have to raise the score of this film by one. 8/10, I love this, I want more, **** I'll even see it in theatres.

Aliens! Want to Know More? This is a mix of a high-quality action movie and generic alien invasion stuff—only the invasion doesn’t actually happen yet. This movie gives us a little taste of something actually missing in the film industry: alien movies with a big “hell yeah, dude” strapped onto them. The only bad thing about the film is some of the music, the acting, I guess, and a few story plot points. BUT, and this is a big BUT, it is hella entertaining to watch, and yes, I would like to see the full-scale alien invasion sequel that would come after this film. So Netflix, shut the **** up and give me the damn sequel. And if you do it right, I might just raise the score of this film. I recommend this to anyone who needs to watch a sci-fi alien-type film and doesn’t really care about the story, but just wants to see badass action and a mixture of non-predictable scenes mixed with generic ones. We need more films like these that actually do Sci-fi alien stuff, I like it, and to behonest its one of the few that does it well enough that it's not unrealistic. This **** reminds me of Resistance, and at Times it even feels like it. I just want to make one more note about the action scenes, they are not too bad, good actually, and I want to see more of that in the sequel. I will now start praying that Netflix actually gives us the next film and doesn't **** it up...Sorry, I really like Aliens Sci-Fi films, I've been starved for years. 7/10 — Yes, I would like to know more, and I would recommend.

This is not better than Knock Knock; however, I did watch this all the way through at 3 am, so that tells you something. Let me get this out of the way: Sydney couldn't act to save her life; however, a role that makes her a badass would serve her well. She might be better in a Superhero role rather than anything else. Yes, I watched Madam web but that film **** @ss. Now, another thing I want to point out, I don't find her mildly attractive, that's just **** the movie, even though it was a predictable mess, was still entertaining and filled with a story that had amazing pacing. Then the very extended sex ****. Sorry, I can't take those seriously. The plot, the other actors' acting and the story are good and probably worth a watch. There is also some violence and neat effects going on in this film, so kudos to that. So 7/10, I know how to rate films.

Nice film, bro. This is a fantastic experience that blends the modern Japanese culture from the perspective of a Foreigner that actually respects the culture. While I have never been to Japan yet, this film shows how depressing, but hopeful and inspirational it can be to meet and connect with people. You almost made me cry, but this was definitely a good watch and one that I can rate fairly highly. This is not one of those overly Dramatic films; it feels real, and uses Brendan's acting skills and everything he has been through recently very well. 8/10, Its missing some personal moments for the main character and perhaps some extended scenes for us to really connect with the **** maybe that's the point,, that feeling of almost making a connection but allowing it to be free. Interesting... I recommend this film if you want to experience something that balances itself between real and fake storytelling.

At 1 hour and 17 minutes, I can say that this film does enough to warrant a 7/10; the critics and hell, even the audience at the moment,t are delusional. This takes concepts from Detroit Become Human, your standard AI Film/Plot, and turns it into a Mystery Thriller Dystopian Sci-fi film that I very much appreciate. And while it does miss and disregard some details, the escalation and the relationship that AI and Humans should have is well regarded here. AI should be used to help, and NOT be used as a Final output/Solution. Surprisingly, this film also takes inspiration from things that actually would happen in real life, with a chaotic, over-the-top sci-fi presence.

I stayed awake for this movie for about 30-ish minutes and then fell asleep. Sorry, as a long-time SpongeBob fan, I am just Tired. Nothing beats the First film; that's how it will be until the end of time. Not even the animation can save this film because they did it all wrong. Soft, undetailed 3D Animation is just so bad that I had to fix it myself by adding film grain and sharpening lines to make the picture look defined, like the OG cartoons' style. All of this tells me that not even the director, animators, hell, the editors in the backroom, took the time to at least merge a 2D cartoon with 3D Definition. henceforth 5/10, half right and half wrong, not even the story is interesting...I couldn't keep my eyes open thats how boring it was, what a let down. But is this better than the Sand Cheeks movie??? Yes, but that doesn't say much. BTW, the film retconned the first film about Songebob not being Brave, do the writers even pay attention to the universe? Paramount, Nickalodean Just Shut Up and give me Tin Tin 2 already. Make sure that the top priority is for Peter Jackson and Spielberg to nail that film, because if it ends up like Megamind 2, there will be a nuke that goes off in the South of Africa. That's all...

Do you realise how difficult it is to rate this film?! Ok, so let me start with, that this film looks great, continues a great story, but it lacks in length, plot and reason. This film needed an extra 30 minutes to round up the film, because it just ends with literally no climax. I am afraid that unless Zootopia 3 solves the reason as to why the second film is like this, I unfortunately can go no higher than a 7/10. Look, I highly recommend watching this film, but if a chunk of the film is missing, certain characters and plot conflict with each other and scenes are somewhat rushed and cut, then this is the only reasonable rating. This movie is a 7/10, but it's a damn good animation to watch. I've spent a long time thinking about this, whether it's a 7 or an 8, and I think even the Meta User Score speaks for why I'm so conflicted.
Jan 7, 2026
It’s inferior to Mugen Train. However, since this is Part 1 of 3, this is an exceedingly difficult film to rate. So let’s get all the good stuff out of the way so I can talk about the bad parts of the film. Firstly, the animation is gorgeous, and while there are still frames, the effects—and clearly the budget and time invested—really make this film stand out. The action is quite stellar, and while it’s not up close and personal, and has the characters jumping around a lot, it is still quite magnificent to view. Then the writing: I think it’s quite excellent considering how characters, power scaling, and newfound lore emerge throughout the film. So why a 7/10? That’s mainly because of how certain flashbacks—and literally the last 30–45 minutes of the film—are handled. This was clearly meant to be stretched over a TV show, but it seems that since the story revolves around the same location and is rounding up the Demon Slayer story, a 3-part movie was a great move. That said, the way the plot is integrated would have made the story too long and worse if handled differently. The third part of the film, while shocking, ended in a very anticlimactic manner—especially since the credits immediately start to roll. The runtime is insanely long for an anime (I’m not complaining, but damn, it’s long). So for now, I can only give this film a safe 7/10. If Parts 2 and 3 pan out, the score shall be raised. As of now, I still prefer the previous movie, especially with its glorious music and the general aura of that film. I still highly recommend this film if you are a Demon Slayer fan, but if you are trying to get into this anime for the first time, please go watch Mugen Train instead first, and then come back to this after you are caught up with the entire series.

Here’s The Running Man… now… The Running Boy. While this is a good film that calls back to the original, I don’t think it’s great enough to be rewatchable. If I had a choice to either rewatch the OG film or this one, I’d watch the OG film again. The problem with this film is that while they try to be serious and show that the main character is an Angry Guy, he ultimately falls flat. Why would you show me something and not give me the satisfaction? An angry guy just kills everyone. Instead, the MC is warning the enemy that he—the buildings—are about to blow… dude, they’re trying to kill you… Hello, you’re in a game where they want you to die. The film tries non-generic material in the worst possible way. In my opinion, it would’ve been better to do generic material and then a huge twist at the end. Then there are the characters… I think I hate everyone in the film, even the MC when the credits roll. Not saying that they’re bad characters—I’m just saying I dislike the outcome of the film, which then levels all the characters for the sole purpose of a message in the film. What is that message? Yeah, I don’t know, or I don’t understand the outcome, the journey, and the struggle to get there. Literally, at the very end, the MC gets plot armour because of the show, and everything is fake. Now, is this an entertaining film? Yes. Would I recommend this? No, not really. This is an “I feel bored, let me watch this” type of film . Hence, 6/10. It’s a good film, but it’s not great in any aspect, and it does not surpass the OG due to how unfocused and generic—and sometimes cringeworthy—the film gets.

Oh no, another hard one to rate. This film was funny, but also painfully relatable—if you’re struggling through life, like yours truly, it’ll remind you how rough it is out there for the common person. Anyway, Mr Reeves mostly plays a dumb angel who stands around, washes dishes, and messes around with these two characters who completely polarise each other. Again, it’s a funny film, but it lacks that fundamental thing that binds movies together—and that, folks, is purpose. This film has no purpose, and no real resolution until the very, very end… and even then, it still leaves questions unanswered. For its runtime—1 hour 37 minutes—it only felt like about 1 hour 20. Maybe more lessons or conflicts should have been explored. I really wanted to give this a 7/10, but I just… can’t. Don’t get me wrong—it’s funny and entertaining—but it just falls short in almost every other way. Final rating: 6/10. Funny, but could have been so much more. Do I recommend it ****, give it a try.

A film that is quite hard to rate, there is something about this film that doesn't fit right. I think it's because the main character is a bad guy. This film fits the "You either die a Hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". Flight shows the increasingly grim downward spiral of a hero, who was actually a villain due to his addiction to alcohol and other substances. Now I would like to go over the bad spots of this film, it's the plot relating to characters, I just feel that some characters deserved more time on screen, especially Nicole, since the run time is a bit over 2 hours, but other than that each scene does take its time and it does drag a little bit until we reach the end. 8/10, I recommend this film, but it has its problems. A tough one, the film employs many ideals that are often frowned upon in modern society. Is it ok for an older man to enjoy or be aroused by the company of a younger girl? Is it ok to cheat when you are married but in the meantime experience a brief fulfilment of happiness? Is it ok to blow past what fate may force upon a person? These are questions in this film that play around in this film, that keep triggering emotions, and actions in the characters of the film, and in some cases, it even goes so far as to the point of chaos. American Beauty is a film that you don't watch with anyone else; it should just be you, as the judge of the justifications of characterisations. Complex, rooted and baffling. 8/10, this is a great film I would recommend to anyone who feels like they are in a box, like life is just pushing them in ways they can't explain, only to realise it's themselves, it was themselves all along.

For the sake of comparison, I went back and watched those films. So, the only bad things about this film are that the Third act is a bit rushed. This is Galactus we are talking about here; he is an all-powerful entity, and I was expecting more devastation and a more visual display of his power. Like his laser Eyes... but they never do that. -1 Then there is a bit of the cringe factor in some scenes. I feel that the older movies did it better due to the acting, but here it's a little too overdramatic. Can we get a Megamind 2 Film now with this type of Quality Action, animation and Story at the least, Dream Works? Or are you just going to continue giving Sequels to Films that don't need them, Like This or Shrek? No, Ok then, I will rate this film fairly as I always do. It's slightly better than the Original, but it still holds major flaws, just as the original did. While this film goes into extreme, ridiculous territory, that is the only thing that makes the film interesting enough to watch all the way through. All of the Jokes are lame, the Characters are just basic and boring, and to be honest, there are too many of them to allow us to focus on a particular plot point. And for the Record, I didn't even laugh once, not once, not even a smirk came to me. Why? Because none of these characters are relatable, besides the wolf, the fox and the commissioner. The plot continues to give them problems, then forgets what's said in the past, and then just continues the story. It felt a bit off. Other than that, the Animation is good, the Story is passable, and the Visuals are pretty neat. However, it lacks what DreamWorks films had in the past: heart. And so it's incredibly Hard to rate this film because it is better than the first, but retains problems in other areas that the first never had. I was thinking about a 7/10, but I asked myself, would I recommend this to anyone to watch? No. Would I let my Kid watch these films? Probably not because I didn't find it good, just entertaining. So maybe. Overall, I am sad to say that while yes, the film is entertaining, it uses a lot of cool action scenes like a F and F movie, but the other parts of the film weigh it down as they do not complement each other. I think the only best part of this film is the commissioner, her Character is spot on and done well, while the Wolf is just charismatic and not really relatable in this one, unlike the **** see, you understand now when I mentioned the problems earlier. While this may entertain the Small Kid ages 3 -10, it doesn't compare to anything that Dreamworks has made in the past. This is better than that Ruby Gillman Film, though. There are also Fart Jokes and Akwafina, and you know what I think about those 2 things... 6/10, I'm never going to watch this film ever again, I probably forget it by tomorrow.

Ghat Damn, look at that sand, that's the best sand I've ever seen in any animation movie. Anyway, the film is generic, bland, and unreliable. I'm sure for small kids this will be fine for them, but guess what Disney, Animation films are not made just for Children...they are made for Families. I think PIXAR is cooked, they are done, from here on out it will take them an odd 10 -15 years to come out with something worth a damn. BUT is the film entertaining? Kinda. Is it that bad? No, it's just entertaining enough to watch, but it's not funny; it lacks emotional grip and tension because of the changing plot. I smiled once, smiled, not laughed, not chuckled, smiled.... that's not good. eg, You'd think that an Alien that thrives on Bloodlust would kill other aliens, but not all of it is just PG. Even Rataoulle(A film about cooking) played with the image of Death better than this film did. Anyway, all factors of the film are flawed, sure it looks pretty, but Graphics alone do not make a film. Music, Story, and Characters need to flow into each other, harmonise and show off that this is a film to watch and in some cases studied. This is not one of those films, not even close. I think the only time I felt a connection to a character is with Elios' Clone, a god daym CLONE. Why, because he had a developed story, plot and character around him, while OG Elios is just fooling around, lying, playing, etc. This is a 6/10, Brad Bird, please force Disney and PIXAR to give us Incredibles 3 and Ratatouille 2, anything with Potential Quality and interest, because this is something I wouldn't give my child to watch. One of the few Epic Films to ever exist in the film industry. This film has a Budget, Flow, and just shows off ever so much grit while maintaining politics, religion and honour. I highly recommend you watch this film, and while it may be long,it'ss definitely worth the time, and possibly a rewatch to understand each scene deeply. 9/10, Close to Perfection, and Yes, I am Entertained now.

What happens if you have GTA 5, but just without any GTA? Well, you get a movie that looks great with its rotoscope animation, along with 5 interesting characters, and a plot, but with a lot of missing factors, such as action or reason. While this film does deal with a concerning ideology about cops, drugs and medical care, it is a very cut-and-dry film, where not even the visuals can save it. Most would watch this film for the visuals, and others may watch this because of the actors in the film. Overall, this film has a very bland plot, it's incredibly unsatisfying and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. However, the visuals are pleasing to look at, which somewhat enhances the interest, but it's just not enough. 7/10, you'll watch it, you'll want more animation that looks like this, but the story is just fluff.

Oh my god, yet another A24 film where I don't know if this is good or not. Look, it's an entertaining film because it deals with everything that transpired in America during COVID, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone to watch unless you need a recap on reality...delusional reality. 6/10, it lacks what many forget, that is, emotional connections.

The Best way to describe this film is that it's a film for Superman, and not about Superman. I will deeply compare Man of Steel 2013 VS Superman 2025. This film feels like a Comic Book story, whereas Man of Steel is a dark and gritty Superhero movie that utilises its actors, music, and action scenes to propel the plot forward. Superman 2025 is not Dark and Gritty, nor is it deep in its characters or story; no risks are taken in terms of showing pure emotional passion in this film, and there are a lot of missed opportunities. E.g., I would have found it nice if Lex took out his frustration by shooting Superman, knowing that he can't hurt him at the end, that would have solidified the performance and allowed...wait for it...Character Development. Instead, it goes for a Comedic/ realistic satire type of emotion, which works with Mr Terrific for sure, but just not with Superman, and any of the other main ****, Hawk Girl SUUUUUUUCKs. If I were to describe Superman in this film, he would be understated. He only flexes his power for small, insignificant sections of the film. How do I put **** gets beaten up quite a lot, and while he promotes "Seeing the Good in everyone" and not trying to kill anyone, the performance falls flat. Is it ok to be beaten? Yes, absolutely, but if Superman never finds a strength within himself and just wipes the floor with every enemy given the moment, it just does not work, especially when it's not consistent. Man of Steel does the opposite, Superman in that film struggles but tries to keep up with his foes, while still saving those he can. Why do we know this? Because Zack Snyder knew that Superman had to feel heavy, hence the meme of AURA FARMING was created. Moving on, The Music in this film is possibly the worst thing. The Superman theme, while it's ok, is a bit slow, and the music choice for some of the fights, such as Mr Terrifi, is just so poorly scripted. USE CINEMATIC MUSIC, DON'T BLAST POP SONGS FOR ACTION SCENES. Man of Steel blows this film's music out of the Water. Next would be the action scenes, and while they are good in this film, they are better in Man of Steel, sorry that's just the way it is. Ok, Ok, what about the story, this vs. Man of Steel? I feel both are equally good. The film feels like I'm watching a live-action version of a Superman Comic. Is it a good Superman Comic, though? It's ok, not bad at all, just not interesting because it doesn't do anything to expand the lore of Superman. Finally, the sub-plot dynamics in this film, in my opinion, are ok too, but maybe too many characters got too much Screen time altogether, taking away from focusing on Superman and his Struggle for good. I think the Trailers may have ruined parts of this film, because the trailer has most of the good parts, lol. I won't take it into account, but some might... Anyway, let me rate the elements of the Film Individually: Story: 7/10, It's interesting Enough to watch. Characters: 6/10, it needs some work, and more Passion, more Passion. Plot and Pacing: 6/10, Sometimes it's a little too Fast, especially in action Scenes. CGI and Visuals: 8/10, It's above average, highlighting Superman's abilities. Music: 5/10, half right, half wrong. So that gives me 6.4/10. Now it's up to me whether I think this is something original or generic to round the score. And personally, while I am not a Superman Fan(I'm with the Bat with this one), I believe that this is just enough to be something original, also I take the audience's preference into account. Superman 2025 is a 7/10; it's good, but is it as good as Man of Steel with its dark and gritty, hyper-focused, action-packed origin story? No, but this is a fun one, and I maybe wish there was more time to give the Supporting Characters like Guy Gardner, and Mr Terrific to cook even more. Overall, it's a partial recommendation. I know that Super Fans have been waiting for Superman film content to enjoy, and I think that you might enjoy this one...Maybe. DC right now is in a pretty bad state. I hope that on both the gaming and film sides, we get a revival due to all the mismanagement. Good luck, James, because Zod knows that you are gonna need it.

This was an unexpected movie that somehow uses its comedic and horror flaws to its advantage...I can't believe I'm saying this but I enjoyed this, not because it is a good movie or that the comedy from Megan is kinda funny, but because the film itself overall is fun to watch. This is definitely not a horror film but it has some well placed horror elements wrapped in comedic situations. I would actually recommend the first and second movie to watch and just have fun with your girlfriend...I dont have one of those but I still enjoyed the film anyway. However MEGAN 2.0 does suffer from a little plot twist syndrome, and the generic "the world is as stake" formula with the hero always winning. Besides all that its a good watch, because of how well it plays with its humor and Horror elements, maybe less horror but its definitely something different. Not to mention how well the pacing and time used for this movie is, its impeccable well done. I felt like I wanted 4 hours more of the film just to build Megan's Character even more. The music, is cinematic... good with some singing...awkward singing, don't worry its explained. This is probably one of the hardest things to do trying to combine comedy with horror. So overall I believe that MEGAN 2.0 is a 7/10. And that folks is all I can say. End transmission.

This has to be one of the few worst films of this year... It's boring, Stupid, and honestly a waste of time. I'm not going to go into specifics, but about 3 minutes into the film, you'll understand the biggest red flag in film history that destroys an entire film, SNICKERS. What in the actual delusion did I watch? The action is garbage. The Plot is garbage. Everything in this film, besides the CGI and effects, is Pure Universal garbage. BUT hey, the Jurassic Park theme is here in so many remixed ways, 10/10 right? No, it's a 3/10. Universal can't even give one high-quality Megamind sequel; instead, they opted for this garbage. I had to think long and hard about Happy Gilmore 2 and comparing it to the first film, it's just not as good as I expected. Don't get me wrong here, the film is respectful to the source as it uses a lot of callbacks, uses the same kinda formula for the comedy. The huge problem with this film is that there is so much going on, so many unnecessary characters, and it tries to do so much that it ends up being neither generic nor predictable, but just not unique enough to stand on its own as a sequel. And then there is the fact that the film kinda undoes the ending of the first film, but continues it unexpectedly. Something doesn't fit right with this film, and it cascades for the full length of it, which is weird because the pacing is quite good, but it doesn't use it effectively for truly passionate moments like the original had. So, I'm going to give Happy Gilmore 2 a 6/10. It's entertaining, but not unique enough to stand on its own. This film was incredibly hard to rate, as I would expect new viewers discovering Happy Gilmore would most likely like this film more than usual. If you are a fan, though, and you watched the first film, you will understand that this film is inferior. I don't think we needed a sequel, but we got it anyway, which is not entirely the worst thing ever.

One of the most Unique comedies of the late 90s. It's an Adam Sandler movie that makes great use of characters and events for the pure and logical sense of Comedy. All the scenes flow incredibly well together as you see Happy face challenge after challenge, defying the odds with his crazy Drive Rage power. While it is goofy, it is still deep in its narrative, story telling and characters as they interconnect towards Happy being a type of Anomaly in the Golfing world. Happy Gilmore is a movie I never expected to be personal and enjoyable to watch. 8/10, I highly recommend this, not just for you but for the family to enjoy.

Disney has yet again ruined one of my favourite Stories and animations I watched in my childhood. Disney feels the need to take a Great animation, kick it around, Rip pivotable story elements, and ruin the overall vibe. Disney is EVIL. So let's go over what is truly wrong in the film besides me just generally despising it . Every detail of the original has either been mashed up into an inconsistent copy or has been stripped out and destroyed. The acting from the characters is subpar and incredibly inferior, except maybe for Nani, Lilo and Stitch. The voice acting for Jumba and Pleakly is soooo bad. They are just reading the script and getting paid, not even trying something new, or a voice. The cool action scenes and Details in the Original are not here. The Laser Gun is meant to emit green blaster acid... Remember! And where the **** is Gantu? Folks, the music from the original film was even butchered; it has no flow with the actual film, it's just some unrecognisable mess. BUT RECON! The Icecream Guy. They misuse the joke about twice. The ice cream isn't just meant to fall; it's meant to be affected by the stuff that's happening around the dude. In the original, Wind knocks over the scoop, and the giant spaceship knocks over the scoop with a manoeuvre. But here, nothing makes any sense. How does an animation made for kids make more sense than a live-action film, wtf? Everything in this film is just done wrong, and does not match or make it better than it was before. So, what would I give this film? Honestly, I'd give it a 3/10, but as usual, I consider the audience and the points in this film that work. So I'm going with a 4/10. This is better than some of the recent live-action garbage Disney has put out, but it doesn't mean it's good. This is less and, in most cases, insulting to a fan of Lilo and Stitch. If you have never watched the original animation and you think that by watching this live-action version, you will get the point, you are severely wrong. Please go watch the Original animation, and if you want to compare, then watch the live-action version, and you'll see how Disney has butchered an amazing film. Please make your kids watch the original animation because this is insulting not only to me, but children deprived of quality content. Finally, **** you, Disney. Again and again, we keep warning you. Return to Original 2D animation or just use 3D animation to remake all your 2D ****'t you want Money? Review Over, I'm done.

Well, I just watched it and it's almost a 1:1 representation of the Animation, only that some scenes are inaccurate, unsatisfying and static, unlike the animation. Also, some of the actors were massively **** I mention there is unnecessary Diversity as well. Lol, did Universal just inject black people into the biking age...Seriously. Universal can go F off. Nobody asked for this. You know what we did ask for, though? MEGAMIND 2, yeah, I'm still Pissed about that. Why does Kung Fu Panda get 4 Movies, Madagascar get 3 movies, Shrek get 5, and Megamind only 1, with a **** TV show and sequel that both flopped? So now you want me to rate the Same Film again, but now in Live Action? Are you insulting me right now, Universal? If you read the books and have never seen it in Film or animation Form, then yeah, you are gonna like this. But if you have already read the books, seen the animated Films countless times, there is no need to watch this, there are no extra details, besides extended scenes to make the film longer. Yes, the CGI is good, yes the Music is still great, yes Stoick's VA nails Stoick in acting, but this doesn't make this version better, it's just riding off the success of the Animation.. Hence, so with all my **** and moaning, I can award this a 7/10. I would have given this a 6/10 personally because I've seen all of this already, but I always take into consideration the audience. Please, I'm begging you for Megamind 2, Please Universal, Don't make me watch HTTYD2, and watch Stoick Die Again, but this time in Live-Action...Just do both if you want to follow this up. Why can't we have both? Anyway, that's my review. This will be great for grade 8 learners who think Animation is for kids or whatever. Review over.

This is equivalent to a Disney Channel B-movie, and that is pretty bad. The fact that there are Better and older Disney Channel movies that were made decades before tells you something about Hollywood. Why make an anticipated sequel to one of the greatest comic characters of all time when we can make a cheap film that I think not even children would enjoy? Do companies realise that children aged 10+ are already playing Fortnite and GTA? What made them think that live-action Dora the Explorer would be a win? It's like they filmed 5 hours of a film and then ripped it apart to fit into a 1h 30-minute advertisement for Tekken, Pizza and Rooftop fighting. I recently watched all the Karate Kid Films. Karate Kid 1 - 3, The Next Karate Kid, the rebooted Karate Kid with Jaden Smith, and now this. And to be honest, this is about as good as the Next Karate Kid. It's a mash-up of a plot where they take an already OP character that has no motives whatsoever and make him OP. What this film should have focused on is the opposite, or at least make the teachers bully the kid the entire film, so we can see some form of weakness from him. This, in simple form, is what you would get if you took the Jaden Smith Karate Kid film and polarised it. In fact, that's what it is. When I see adverts in my films and games, does that make the experience better? Maybe if you just show it once in a single frame or film shot, but the train scene, for example, literally made sure you could see the Tekken 8 poster in the background. It distracted me and made my film experience **** I PLAY TEKKEN religiously. Then the music in the film is absolute garbage to my ears, and it's clear that the writers didn't even look an inch deeper into the Karate Kid lore. You expect a character to do something or reference something, but they never do it, and when they do, it's not done correctly. You are telling me that Daniel, after seeing his master fight countless people, didn't even teach his student the nose mercy move...I expected the student to do it right at the end. After this review, I think this might actually be worse than The Next Karate Kid OMFG. But I'll hold off a little. So this is a 6/10 film; it just meets the bare minimum of an entertaining film. It's nothing special and quite forgettable, with its 0 relatable characters, fast and mashed up pacing and plot and an absurd amount of cuts that were clearly stripped from the film all for the sake of advertisements?

It's better than Captain America: A Brave New Travesty. BUT, it plays it a bit safe when it comes to the "Villain", and the true passion of Superhero beginnings. The Story, Acting, Plot, Action, Comedy, and Characters are well-prepared and utilised; however, this still does not hold up to even films like Avengers, or even the First Iron Man Film. Why? Because it doesn't delve further into its established Universe, it tries, but it's not satisfying. It doesn't show the true and complex journey of becoming a hero, but only deals with how to overcome past pain, which, in my opinion, is still fine, but not enough. It needed a possible third act, even 30 minutes of something even more unexpected, showing that these characters can handle what is to come and that folks is DOOOOOM. If Marvel plays their cards right in showing us they will do whatever it takes to defend Earth, then this film is a good setup. If not, then it will remain a 7/10. Watch this film, it's Marvel's version of Suicide Squad, only there is no Suicide, just a Squad helping a friend out. That's very Nice.
