Transformers: Dark of the Moon

As a performance-art act of juvenile Id-fulfillment, it's magnificent.

Nothing you see makes any sense at all, but the sensations are undeniable, and kind of fun in their vertiginous, supercaffeinated way.

The franchise remains as much an endurance test as a movie, but at least a better Bay has delivered a leaner, meaner, cleaner 3-D rage against the machines.

But don't worry about remembering the characters - the movie certainly doesn't.

Marveling at its grotesque gigantism doesn't make this two-and-a-half-hour-long movie any less dull.

LaBeouf, who appeared to hit a low in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," has sunk to greater levels of incompetence here.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - high on any list of the worst blockbusters ever - is a movie bereft of wit, wonder, imagination, and any genuine reason for being. Watching it makes you die a little inside.

A invasão de Chicago é absurda — parece fim do mundo mesmo. • Sentinel Prime Melhor plot twist da trilogia. Ele começa como o “herói lendário” e vira um traidor frio, inteligente e perigoso. Um vilão que realmente faz sentido no universo Transformers. • Megatron destruído psicologicamente Megatron largado na savana, metade da cabeça quebrada, humilhado… Ele virou quase um fantasma do que já foi. Bem dramático. • Ação final perfeita O terceiro ato é destruição total, câmera mais controlada e lutas mais claras. Os Autobots realmente matam Decepticons sem dó. --- Pontos fracos • Ritmo meio enrolado no começo O filme demora pra pegar fogo. Tem parte que tu pensa: “beleza, vamos pra guerra logo”. • Rosie trocando a Megan Fox Nada contra a atriz, mas a troca brusca tirou química. A relação com o Sam ficou meio artificial. • Megatron nerfado (de novo) Ele é um dos maiores vilões da franquia… e aqui mal luta. Só entra no final, dá dois golpes e morre rápido. --- Resumo geral É um filme mais robusto, sério, visualmente insano e com um vilão muito bem trabalhado. Mesmo com falhas, é um dos melhores da franquia Bay nota 6.

The ability of Transformers films to tell us WHAT'S ALREADY TOLD is impressive! It looks like I was watching an extended version of Transformers 1! Adding the damn duration of 2h36min, with extremely repetitive content, we have a very tiring film. It's torture!

Wow Michael Bay! Are you going to make a film that is decent enough? Nope, it's a Transformers sequel. Even though it's probably the best sequel out of the 4 sequels, it still is dull and a repeat of the original, only worse. And yet the idiots all throw their money at this crap.
