So, if you are expecting Hardline to be like 4, it is not. That being said, it really does seem like a great branch out on a fantastic franchise. One thing that I really truly like, and think is marvelous is the single player, not only in gameplay, which is fantastic but the experience of playing it, like a TV show, is really cool.

Fantastic remaster, I have only played about 3 hours so far of the first game. Looks awesome, and still has the great feel of Homeworld. You can really tell this was a game made with lots of care by a team with a lot of respect for the source material. I recommend it, nostalgic and awesome. Clear your schedule.

The escapists has a great look to it. Took me awhile to figure anything out with crafting, but that is okay. Once you get a feel for it it is really quite fun. The maddening part is when you have planned your escape and are just waiting to execute and that other inmate you decided needed to be roughed up so you can have his gubbins ends up getting you in solitary and everything you had crafted is gone. Not a bad thing, just a rage moment. The game has you go right back at it.

I have been playing the game for over a week and am around 38% through the campaign. This has been a game I have been truly enjoying. The story is really quite good, and enjoyable and so far the plot twists that are there are surprising and welcomed. Once you get a hang of the control system it feels good, I do wish there was more of an ability to bind your own buttons. For example the parkour interaction to A and kick to the left trigger, and have the item use on the left bumper as I often find that to be slightly awkward. But, not a deal breaker at all. The game looks marvelous and I am really taken back, for the first time in many many games with the integration of the soundtrack which really enhances the game play. All in all great so far, will absolutely be completing the game and diving into the multiplayer side which I have yet to do.

Throw back to earthbound, every second of it is fantastic, witty, lots of humor. One of the most enjoyable games I have played in awhile. It has that fantastic old school feel but doesn't feel old. The game play which seems simple at first can get more complex as you recruit citizens and face new challenges.
