An unattractive, untalented and painfully aging Hollywood mess that is not very "verite" To be sure there is NOTHING cinema Verite about Cinema Verite. Goddard and Truffaut would be ashamed. Cinema Verite is all about the bad 70's wardrobe trying to tell a bad story with aging leads with sycophantic supporting wanna-be's wishing they knew the era and filming style they were trying to play. We got about 30-40 minutes into this modern filmschool dribble before the plastic surgery, plastic insecurities of modern Hollywood pretending to be a period piece, and plastic direction became so revolting we turned on Reno 9/11 for some sense of dignity.
