This is an amazingly difficult game to score. I was bored for significant chunks of this game, and I found myself passing the time thinking through a puzzle by petting or climbing on Trico. I kept coming back though. I kept wanting to see more, and the ending did not disappoint. Truly an excellent game overall, and I wonder if I would have enjoyed the story as much if I never got bored. By being bored, I interacted with Trico more, and built a relationship with him. It made the story more impactful, and I Don't know of another way to accomplish that goal. I take off points because I don't really have an urge to play it again, but I am extremely happy that I played through and the experience I had.

This feels like a shooter built by the guys who made Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and holy cow does it work well. The gameplay is fluid, and keeping your multiplier going is addictive and rewarding. Big world that is filled with stuff to do, and the story kept me driving to the end. There were a couple issues however: - The comedy can get a little old by the end - It takes a while before you have the abilities that really show off the fun of the game - The world empties out by the end, making the game boring once you have completed the story These are all relatively minor gripes, and damn it is a whole heap of fun. PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL!

Unbelievable for a game to actually live up to the hype that this game had. Very difficult, but it managed to never get me frustrated at my numerous deaths, in no small part due to the amazing music, art, and animation. Everyone should play this game.

This game is fantastically terrible. This is what happens when Troma decides that they want to make a video game, and then they pump steroids into the guns. - It is crazy repetitive - Graphics are sub-par - Animations almost amature - Takes an incredible grind to make any progress on higher difficulties - Script is silly and nonsensical - Voice acting is laughable I wouldn't change a thing.

Absolutely superb. This feels like the culmination of open world mechanics to create something that is truly greater than the sum of its parts. The story is absolutely enthralling, and the combat is built in a way that I always felt as if every challenge was reasonable, but if I went in without preparing, I would have almost no chance to make it out alive. Truly FANTASTIC combat balance and incredibly intriguing enemies. As a side note: I feel that Ashly Burch's performance was not quite as good as it is currently getting credit. Don't get me wrong, it is high quality, but I don't feel it is quite award worthy. She is an excellent voice actress, and I've seen better performances from here.

Nintendo is amazing. The pure fun and joy that this game exudes is contagious. It is one of those rare games that reminds me of the nostalgic joy that video games can provide. Bright colorful and such a change from (seemingly) all the other popular games of the moment.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 36

This is the worst of the Modern Warfare series, but still a good game. Felt like they over-reached for a shock moment, and the story telling is not as fresh as it was for Modern Warfares 1 and 2. Happy these guys are now making Titanfall and showing their extreme talent in that new franchise.

Excellent moment to moment gameplay, Phenomenal Visuals and Audio design. The loot boxes help to push player to try new play styles, and the crafting parts provided regularly allow the player to progress at a reasonable rate and by purchasing the cards that they would like to use the most. The loot boxes also allow progression in various classes the player is not currently using so when they want to switch over to a new class, they aren't starting from scratch. This is not a perfect system, but it is different and interesting and should actually be analyzed for its positive qualities alongside its negative qualities.
