Mario Kart World0

This is copy pasta from Mario Kart 8. They could just call this Mario Kart 8 with Handrails and call it a day. I don't see any reason that this couldn't run on a Switch 1 or Switch Lite. It's low effort and about as fun as watching paint dry.

Diablo II: Resurrected10
Oct 3, 2021
This game is so good. The fact that it's not new is why. Sure they might have gotten their hooks into a few things but for the most part it's all here and looks amazing. It's one of the best remakes you will find. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Diablo III was boring to me, whatever I found next was more op than what I had currently. There was no real treasure hunt.

A perfect example of bait and switch. This is nothing like they advertised. This should have been called Cyberquest because you'll just be going on quests. Everything else is just unfinished and full of bugs. People try to cut them slack like they focused on next gen but that's not the case, next gen wasn't even around when they were developing this for years. It just shows how buzzwords like ray tracing can make you insanely rich. This is really a game for people that just want to brag that it ran on their system on the highest setting.

Need for Speed Heat10
Dec 6, 2020
As far as Need for Speed games go this is the best one to date. It has beautiful graphics and you feel like you are going insanely fast. The handling of the cars is excellent and the drifting mechanic is pretty simple. The story is really cheeseball it definitely won't have characters you remember like Most Wanted. That game had terrible rubber banding which isn't found here so this is actually better as far as racing goes. For a casual racing game it can't be beat. The characters are not as goofy as FH4 but the music is worse. The sound track is my biggest critique of the game. There is not a station worth listening to. Racing is a 10, the graphics are an 8, and the rest is a 5. I'll give a 10 because of EA hating.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 210
Sep 13, 2020
This is without doubt the best skating game on PC. I have Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD on the PC and it's nowhere near this good. There is no set goal on Skater XL or Sessions, it's boring. They nailed pretty much everything. Multiplayer still needs some love but I'm sure that will come. For right after release this is as good as it gets. The speed, linking tricks together, sound track it's all amazing. 144fps Tony Hawk remastered in HD with perfect controls... game of the year. I think it's really lame that people are giving this a bad score over Epic. I'm no fan of China but the games great and that's just sad. I highly recommend setting the FOV to 90 for a minute and trying that out. A little trick only us PC users can do at the moment. Anyone giving this a bad score really shouldn't even be allowed to review a game. Shame on you for real. Rate the game not the platform.

Forza Motorsport 610
Apr 24, 2018
Forza 6 is the best racing game that I have ever played. The moment the rain drops hit my windshield and some debris stuck to my windshield I was hooked. Shortly after I went into a turn and the the ass end of my car Camaro swung out like a boat turning on the water as the wheels began to screech before slingshotting forward. That's the same maneuver that cost me a rear end when I owned an LS1. It was perfect and they had captured it. This game has the best handling and attention to detail that I've ever witnessed. There is always room for improvement and if you are looking for the latest and greatest graphics and multiplayer then you might choose 7. However, if you want the best single player racing experience this is it. The backgrounds are not the best and the crowds are cheap, but the cars and the handling are perfect. If it's not broke don't fix it. I'd say buy this if you don't have an Xbox one X, but if you do then go with 7. This game purrs like a kitten at 60 fps on the one S.

If there is a game that deserves a ten this is it. This is the best game currently on the PC.. The cars handle perfectly, the ocean and boats spot on, flying is great. There are always room for improvements but there is nothing to complain about here. I finished the game and I will play it again, and again, until a new one is released on PC.

Long Live The Queen8
Jan 11, 2015
This is a decent game and if you pick it up on sale it's worth every penny. You'll play it through until you get it right then you'll keep trying different combinations while dying along the way. It's a streamlined crusader kingdoms on rails. It still has many stories to tell by increasing your stats in different ways and making different choices. It's not a difficult game you just try different combinations to see the other parts of the story. There is a charm to the game but in the end there is no real skill level it's just a story unfolding. This could be a very good sequel if they change it up a bit but after you win you realize that you need to max certain stats and things that need to be done, and that hinders your desire to explore the different branches. I could be wrong as i haven't taken every path but the perception is that I will die if I don't make specific choices. Therein lies the key to a nice sequel. If the choices weren't on rails and decisions could change it would have more replay ability. Instead you quickly realize that every time you get that gift box it's going to kill you.

Oct 26, 2014
The leaders in this game will recite the exact same lines as Civ V and this will carry on with their reactions to you building near them and so on. Unlike SMAC you can not build cities on the water. For some reason this was just too difficult for them even though modders figured it out. I can only guess it's for later DLC. People will argue that it's not supposed to be a predecessor to it and it's certainly not. I wish that it was but those that want to side with that camp can take comfort that this is really just a new skin for Civ V. Jump with joy and get the DLC wave of love that makes you warm and cozy. If they make it so you can build cities on the water and give these faction leaders actual personalities let me know. Until then if you own Civ V the only reason to buy this is if you wanted a darker skin in a sci fi setting. As I feel it is half of what I desired and Firaxis continues to hate on the old school fans that made them what they are I give this a zero. Have fun milking all of your fan boys they deserve it.

I originally purchased this bundled with a bunch of other games. When I first played it I used a keyboard and I just didn't care for it. Then I read some reviews and plugged in a controller with feedback. I immediately returned and bought the full bundle to get more tables. Now I have all but a few tables. I love this game. It's an arcade on my PC. Sure it's not real pinball but this is it's own thing. It's got all of the tricks in it and it tweaks in a way to make the game quite interesting. Dare I say I prefer this to real pinball.

Prison Architect10
Aug 2, 2014
If you're interested in this game, just buy it. It has workshop integration with an active modding community. Earlier tonight I changed the theme to star wars with a press of the button. This is a very addictive game where real time begins to speed by in a blur. 5 minutes becomes 5 hours and you only noticed because you need to use the restroom. There is a wonderful charm about it and the fat little characters. There is a lot of micromanagement so if you're the kind of person that hates to think, can't oil your brain because it hurts, well then you should pass. It's not overly complicated but the game doesn't hold your hand starting out. It's like bam build a prison. The only downside is struggling to figure out why things aren't being built, or populated. This may further confuse someone since it is alpha which makes it difficult to distinguish between a bug and something you aren't doing correctly. Other than that you should enjoy this game.

Saints Row: The Third10
Aug 1, 2014
This is still one of the best games. I always appreciated GTA and I loved the environment, but I'd quickly get bored. I'd run over a bunch of people, get into a chase, and turn it off. It had it's moments but the saints is just fast, action packed, and looks great. The amount of content in this game is ridiculous. It's not just one thing like weapons, or cars, it's everything. There is an excess of so much and options right there to attempt to speed through it if you want, but you won't. You can't because, there is a ton of it. SRIV addresses the issue of getting to places faster. It's a wonderful mod, but once you complete it this is likely what you'll go back to. To those of you giving it negative reviews because the gore isn't realistic enough for you and you don't feel enough motivation... please seek help. I know it's not your fault as it's just nature and you are programmed that way, but seriously do us all a favor and get some type of counseling. We need to evolve as a species and your type causes us to hit the reset button on that over and over just so you can have your fun making everyone else suffer. Hopefully at some point the human race will be able to single you out and isolate you to live with each other on your own planet where you can just kill each other to your hearts content.

This is not a game it is the shell ****, and it's been a shell **** for over a year. Chucklefish has forums minions and a plethora of reasons for it. They sell it on Steam where it's early access. This gives one the impression that you will be playing the game as it is developed. Sure you will, but not on Steam where they haven't updated the game for seven months. Instead you can go to their website and read about their updates. That's right forget about having them delivered to you. What you are purchasing here is a "story" about someone building a game. This is a novel it is not a game. However, if you love Terraria and only desire to build things in a new setting this might suit your taste. If you can get past the pokemon looking graphics and the extremely lame enemies, your hero looking like something found in a cereal box free for pc in 1985, or having pretty much nothing to do but gather material and build you may very well love this game. Had I known that a small group of people will vehemently defend this game and act like everyone else has a problem I'd have passed. What you are buying here is a game where you can build things with materials that you gather, and join a cult. A cult of people that likely own goat simulator, tree simulator, rock simulator...

I've put 32 hours into this now and I'm still enjoying it. I have not made it through the game and I've restarted several times after learning from my mistakes. So I feel it puts up a good challenge. The graphics are solid, the atmosphere is pretty nice, and the music is as well. There are a few things that bother me such as when it cuts to my soldier shooting and it's giving me a strange camera angle. It is also rather slow during those scenes at times I'm thinking just shoot didn't I tell him to attack what's going on? Then he shoots finally. It also occasionally crashes for so no apparent reason. It could use another coat of polish but other than that it's a great game.

This is a great game to play with your kid, or just purchase if you like Mickey Mouse. The art, story, voice, and difficulty are great. It's all well done and you can't just fly through it. You'll likely die several times on each level. It's not the longest game but I played it with my daughter and it was a lot of fun. I would compare the difficulty to a game like Sonic, but with better artwork. I can't think of any reason to rank it down I'm not grading it against something like Bioshock it's just a 10 for what it is.

Batman: Arkham Asylum10
Nov 6, 2013
I enjoy this game it's the darker side of Batman. There are not a lot of super hero games out there worth playing so this is going to get a higher rating than perhaps it should. It's an older game and not very open world, but you can explore. You just can't go scaling rocks like you're in Skyrim or taking the wrong path around a tree. There will be none of that. You can't jump at all for some odd reason. The camera has issues at times where it won't be where you desire. Still the environment and graphics are well done. You feel as though you are taking part in the comic book. The main characters are perfect and the people you are fighting are no pushovers. My biggest criticism is that I can't save where I'd like so I have to repeat things that were a chore which I felt should have been a save point. For the price you can get this game it's silly to say anything negative at all, but I'll offset that with a 10. Hopefully this pushes others to try to compete in comic book heroes and we get something amazing. Until then this game is king.

Fairy Bloom Freesia1
Nov 6, 2013
This is a game about fighting the same blob, tree, or what have you in a small confined space. The environment may change at some point but I'm not sure. It could be the same stage over and over again. I wanted the Steam trading cards and have a 5 year old daughter. So I soldiered through long enough for 3 cards to drop. By the second card my child was yelling at me to turn it off. She didn't understand what the reason for playing this game was. I had nothing to offer her in response. Finally I turned it off and came back a week later. I hear her in the background, "Daddy are you playing that stupid fairy game again? Why daddy what are you doing it for? What are trading cards why would anyone want those for this game?" Yeah. I give it a 1 because it is a game. There is no doubt about it being a game and having a purpose of kicking or jump kicking something. It's got that for sure.

I have no idea why people appreciate this game but people see things differently. That's why we have world wars and conflicts between countries. Sometimes certain populations are brain washed into believing something ridiculous to be true. This is the type of situation that could lead to such an event such as genocide or nuclear winter. It's absolutely ridiculous to say that this is a good game. If you want to win just hide in a corner and hold down fire. The graphics are shiny I will give it that. There is some shiny stuff going on in this game. Everything else, it's so stupid I can't even go over it. How bout this... if you add shiny to Midway 1942 that was released in 1984... who am I kidding that is still a much better game. I give you guys a 1 for making it shiny.

This is a very nice game. It's extremely over the top. If you are looking for a GTA type of game this is not it. They've taken a hard right off the path into insanity. It's more of an evil super hero type of game. There is a lot of content in here and so much customization. Having these powers does make things like cars obsolete as I run around collecting all of these data pods but if you want to drive the cars can be pimped out. Some of it is cheeseball such as after mission screens where your character is doing really foolish moves and some missions are a lot easier than others. I've been playing off and on for about a month with 25 hours into it and I'm 25% complete. So unless you hit it really hard you won't sail through this game. There are tricks to doing that like loading an apache type helicopter for each mission. The aliens just get devestated. That's up to you though if you want to take a few shortcuts and complete it really fast. I don't know if there is much replay ability to it. I really enjoy this game but once it's complete I'll likely load SR3 back up.

I have been playing Dota2 for two years through the beta I have not even scratched the surface of this game in almost a thousand matches. I have become perhaps a novice. I've not even played all and definitely not learned all of the characters. There is one map I still discover new tricks on. Not to mention it is updated and patched once if not more weekly. The market thrives without giving any real benefit but cosmetics. The underground market with its own prices is so large that there are betting sites with items and money. People will pay thousands for the right items. Then you have all of the live feeds and tournaments. All of which you can watch from any perspective. I could go on forever about this game. This game requires forever to go into detal. This is the best game ever created. Bow to your new God. Resistance is futile.

This game is not what I expected. After first playing it I thought it was generic. I've got a guy constantly healing me as I absorb 30 rounds of ammo, As I didn't pay much for it I was ready to discard it. I mentioned it to a buddy and he said oh no you're doing it wrong. So I gave it another shot and I have to say that he was right. You get right into the action on this game and the firefights are intense. Without that healing it would be impossible. Once I got over my preconceived notion of what the game should be I realize it's very good, and most importantly fun.

This game is a true gem with endless replay value. There are so many paths that you can choose. On the surface it will trick a player that is not paying attention. The more you dig into things you begin to realize how much thought actually went into this. Tropico 3 is of course awesome and I would have been upset had they deviated too far from the original formula. A good example would be my love for Civ IV BTS. When Civ V came out using a new formula I was heart broken. My shock from that fallout led me to this diamond in the rough. Once you really get into this game you'll need a well built gaming machine. I'm here to tell you folks this game right here is hardcore it is not the candy coated shell that you might believe. The modding community is beginning to form, and El Presidente is taking over.
