its just not finished. should be early access. releasing in this state is just making it a cash grab. a lot of copy pasting everywhere. in late 2025 this is not acceptable but some mfs will definitely **** this up like a good boy.
fun but not quite the masterpiece everyone here claims it is. and it’s definitely not that deep. most people play with mods and forget the base game is actually just shallow. it’s basically a mix of prison architect and maybe age of empires. i just can’t stand how fraggot these colonists are. their needs and mood bars are unsatisfiable if ONE thing goes wrong. doing the simplest things takes ages and **** gets repetitive quickkk. i understand that managing time and grind is part of the game, but it gets to a point man. if you like wasting your time undergoing the same issues over and over again, this is your game. ps: it’s not a roguelike so you gain nothing but pain. unless you’re a masochist.
its just mid. dont get me wrong this is still a decent game. but comparing this to the first game... it would feel like a better game if the first one never existed at all. nothing except maybe the new ui hits you. and that new node stuff is straight up boring af, you spam it and wait? nothing really feels strategic. it felt like there was no creativity, like i was just a chinese factory worker doing what i was told, and every player would do the exact same thing to finish the story and such. i cant even go into detail much about the gameplay. it was so forgettable and boring holly christ.
One of the top 5 games I've ever played. Not a single moment felt boring. Even if you're not usually into a hero game like Batman, the immersive world and theme will definitely hook you. Personally, I found genuine enjoyment in the Batmobile segments that others tend to complain about, they never felt forced at all. I'd rather have character-fitting Batmobile combat sequences than a generic, overdrawn health bar and 10-minute dodge-based boss fights. The reason why the PC rating is so low is because the game had terrible optimization when it first came out. There is no such problem now.
i really tried to make this garbage work, but godddd i can’t do this anymore. such a huge disappointment. the story was actually interesting with its 1960s england setting, but a good story is obviously not enough. ima just wrap it up about why i dropped this utter failure after playing for 13 hours. it’s still a buggy mess after 6 years of release (think ac unity levels). bad pacing. performance issues. 1968 ahh combat system. walking simulator (google says that also). copy-paste npcs and buildings everywhere. the game literally restarts you as a new character in each act, which is painful because you lose all your grind and have to do everything again. each act has a different character. in act 2, you play as a mom, and you have to take care of your baby every 10 minutes, which is the most forced and stupid mechanic i’ve seen in a long time. why would i want to stop what i’m doing and play mommy simulator in an action-adventure game? think twice before deciding if you really want to play this.
its definitely a unique and fun experience, but it didn’t fully manage to pull me in. the way it combines speedrun, platforming, and shooter mechanics is impressive. however, the weapon usage and level design felt a bit underwhelming. the story were mid, but the corny dialogues were surprisingly funny.
Another cash grab from Sports Interactive. They finally got the backlash they deserved from delaying fm25. Inshallah they will go bankrupt from releasing the same game every year.
easily one of the most overrated games i’ve ever played. people glaze this game like it’s the second coming of christ, but holy **** its boring af. the gameplay is like just jump and hit, repeat until you fall asleep. the art and music are ok, but this is a video game, not an art project like gris. good aesthetics can’t carry a mid experience. the backtracking is painful, the fast travel ****, and you spend 90% of the time just walking around lost with no direction. dying just means you have to redo the same monotonous sections again. huge disappointment. stop pretending this is a masterpiece.
there is a massive bug that affects a lot of users on xbox gamepass. the game DELETES the campaign save files every launch. Amongst all the other problem this game has, this was the last drop for me. It's mediocre at best, just like last year and the year before that and the year before that.
this game's sales allowed Ubisoft to start developing 5-6/10 buggy and boring messes. Company's stock prices proves my point. In this game you play as a no soul no name npc so no protagonist. They tried so hard with the antagonists, but they always fall short at some point. The overall story and dialogs are terrible. gameplay full of bugs years after release. almost all the missions **** either because they try to make it funny and edgy or way too dramatic. most guns **** and feels weak. enemies are easy to kill brain dead npc's that will just walk towards you raining down bullets, also they will detect you kilometers away but cant see or hear you a meter away. every character in this game is **** except that pilot guy who had a pregnant wife. There are countless gameplay related stuff i hated (trust me you will too) but i dont want to write a book in here. The game's graphics, landscapes, voice acting and voice design are the only positive things. In short, this game is mediocre asf and a joke to the series.
Since the review of a person named captainthrall on here reflects 100% of my opinion, I will directly share his review again: DD2 is a lazy cash grab that essentially milks the franchise name. How do I put this unambiguously? THERE IS NO DUNGEON in a game called darkest DUNGEON. There's no town to build up, so there's no feeling of progression. Each mission is as meaningless as the last. RNG is even more insufferable than it was in the first. A spat of bad luck doesn't make you want to come back and try again. It makes you want to uninstall the game. The animation/design feels generic. All of the characters are bouncy. What? Why? Why did they remove dungeons and replace them with that stupid carriage? Whose idea was this? It looks terrible, it feels terrible, it is terrible. DD1 sold 2 million copies. DD2 sold 0.5 million. There's a reason it failed.
One of the few games that i couldn't bare finishing it. Its such a downgrade from the previous one. things working out is exactly the same as before. It starts with flashbacks and then some accidents happen, and now you are on your own bla bla, even the ending is the same exact ****. The animations are clunky and the sound design is often terrible. the layout of the map feels cheap. there are a lot of bugs happening on fighting and parkour. the fighting parts are so few that I can't even tell if the AI is good or not. there are almost zero new mechanics for Lara, you play as the exact same other than covering yourself with mud lol. cinematography, level design or literally anything at this point has been downgraded to the ground. There is a reason why this dog **** game was given free on epic games. even if you're gonna try it, please dont play this more than 2 hours. its a waste of time.
It's nowhere near the quality of the first game, but you can still enjoy this. Just finish the main story quickly and then enjoy the open world and side missions. They are way better.
Imagine a game that is all about fighting, with terrible mechanics. The combat system is awful and clunky. The combo key you need to press to continue the fight is always registers late, causing you to get hit every time. Like, how am I supposed to play this if I am literally faster than the game. Also, It's stuttering every time when you enter or leave a cut-scene.
The best of the trilogy. Hitman 3 is an almost perfect game that improves upon the last two games. A game that will give you a real hitman experience with its unique looking and beautifully crafted maps. You can literally have fun by doing nothing and just wandering around the map. It has a great story that makes you think about how the story will take shape after each mission. The replayability part gains its true meaning with this game. Definitely one of the best stealth games ever, in my opinion. There's nothing more to say, this game is definitely a MUST PLAY, so go ahead.
It's a horrendous way to continue the previous game. I am making a side by side comparison, I think it would be better to compare Hitman 2 directly with Hitman 1. It feels like the entire game was released to capitalize on the popularity of the previous game. Instead of movie-quality cutscenes in the previous game, cutscenes that resemble a disgraceful slide show have been added. The map quality of the previous game is definitely not here. All the chapters except THE ARK SOCIETY (the only reason why my score is not 5) seem like they were written by a child. Another problem is that its gameplay, which constantly progresses in the same loop, will make you extremely bored with the second game. Put on a disguise, infiltrate, kill the target with an accident kill and get out. Of course, this is a 'mission story' and you can pass the level without doing this, but the replayability that the game gives you is generally all about that. In conclusion, instead of adding more features and thoughtful sections compared to the previous game, an undeveloped and boring game awaits you. Also, if you buy the World of Assassination package, you will get the entire series except the last two episodes of Hitman 2. So you will have to buy Hitman 2's episodes separately lol.
A successful game to revive the series. With its movie like music and cinematics it's exactly what I wanted from the series. Replayability doesn't go much further than 1 or 2 without getting boring. Although the missions/maps are generally good, they sometimes conflict with the gameplay mechanics. For example, agent 47's mobility, or stealth that cannot be achieved due to the shape of the rooms and spaces. There is a problem the trilogy has in common. It's poorly optimized game engine. The swarm of NPCs added to fill the maps will destroy your FPS when you look at them. Lowering your setting won't work, since it's not your system's fault.
To me, this is the first time in the series that the playable world feels actually alive, even though it's not at Rockstar level, it's pretty good for an Ubisoft game. The world is set in Egypt in the final years of the Ptolemaic era. Actual history and culture are represented quite well, which is always a good thing. The main problem of the story is that while the main story should be about the origins of the brotherhood, it is only mentioned a little in the last part of the game and left so plain. After finishing it, you are going to feel like you have witnessed a revenge story rather than learning the actual origin and the creation of the hood. Although the general course and ending of the story are lame and predictable, the dialogues, seriously elaborated cutscenes and their cinematography are at a very high level for an Ubisoft game. Changed combat and skill tree are simple but sufficient. The only thing that holds this game from being a 9/10 or 10/10 is that Ubisoft-like gameplay. You have to repeat the same things over and over again, such as clearing outposts or doing the same side quests. In an open world game like this, you have to give players more than that. You can't just copy and paste the same thing over the world. So if you know how an Ubisoft game plays out, and you are fine with it, this is the best it's going to get. In addition, players requested that the fighting mechanics of the series to be changed. So stop crying about it.
after the 5th or 6th hour, its problems become very noticeable. aI is very goofy, in large-scale sections, a terrorist hides like Saddam Hussein and you can never find him. the equipments are very few compared to Swat4. there are a lot of weapons, tho the weapons either feel the same or trash. the graphics and atmosphere feels great in one mission, and **** in another. if you don't have 2 or more friends to play the game with, you won't have much fun with bots.
since i played this on xbox game pass and didnt directly bought it my experience was pretty much okay. its really entertaining with friends. its not fair to compare b4b to l4d, since l4d was kind of a masterpiece for its time. if you dont have any friends and wanna try it out i can assure you, you will not have fun also you probably not gonna be able to find a game even with cross-play on, lol.
let me guess, you kinda want to play new vegas but not sure because its an old game. it still holds up to this day but dont expect anything spectacular. personally, i dropped it after playing it for 24h, because it didnt feel like ending and i was a little bit bored. also dont play the game on xbox game pass, they force you to download all the language files.
Imagine a game that gives you two ways to complete a mission (lethal and non-lethal), but gives you a terrible experience if you choose the non-lethal path. The levels are poorly designed for this and you definitely won't have fun. Do it either way if you want, but please don't try too hard to be sneaky.
worst optimized game ive seen in a while. even battlefield 3 looks better than this but still it runs like crap. if you actually think your pc could run this than yea, you should give it a try.
THIS GAME IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Cant skip cutscenes(almost 10min boring pre recorded videos). cant change the settings without going into garage lol. literally unplayable with keyboard, cant proceed to play without the windows screen keyboard thing. crashes when alt-tabbed.
gets too boring, because of the repetitive gameplay. i stopped playing after 8 hours. dont get me wrong i love difficult games but if the only difficulty of the game you have developed is to pass the same sections with the same logic and strategy over and over again, i aint playing that.
performance issues. no team balancing, causes one team to lose by far. combat and overall gameplay is buggy and feels not finished(after 2 years of release btw). no chat of any kind if you didnt purchase the game from epic or steam(xbox users and console players cant chat). the only good thing about this game is how it looks and chopping people's head off(only if the game feels like it).
You can immediately see that the game is too indie, there are a lot of bugs, the plot is straightforward and boring, the game is too long, the control of the cars is terrible, it bothers you to check documents already for 10 days and it’s not as interesting to check as in the original. If you want to get acquainted with this genre of the game, then it's better to play papers please! This game is already worth playing only for strong fans of the genre or you are interested in the concept itself, but I can say right away that most likely you will quickly abandon this game.
The story is simply perfect. My only problem with the game was the less variety of weapons in the story. Multi and zombie modes do not interest me, so I did not add them to my final rating.
doesn't deserve the rating it got. definitely one of the best parkour mechanics in the franchise, and the visuals. the main story is boring overall but missions make the game less boring.
