Don't but into all the hate. This game takes everything the first game did and does it even better. Graphics, game play, story, ALL of it. How anyone could be disappointed in this game is beyond me as it is flat out amazing in every way. I'm not going to give any story away but they improved on the combat, the stealth mechanics and the crafting elements. Seeing how the world and events have molded Eliie is heart wrenching but her new found relationship makes it all worth the while. Everyone should play this game, period.

Now this is a great game! From the animal companions to the huge amount of crafting and weapon upgrades, I simply can't put it down! Not to mention you can upgrade your village and unlock new skills, weapons, recipes and missions. The ability to tame wild predators and have them by your side in a fight is fantastic. Using your owl as a spotter to plan out your attack on a village and then sending it in to dive bomb attack an unsuspecting villager?! What's NOT to like about this game!? Not to mention the game world is vast and simply gorgeous, the visuals are breathtaking! Right now I'm having a ball doing side missions to increase my villages population to unlock more bonuses. If you were skeptical of the chance UBI took on this one, don't be, instead rejoice in the masterpiece they have created!

First off, if you are complaining about enemies being bullet sponges than you didn't pay much attention to previews, reviews, videos or play the beta. This is a tactical shooter game with big RPG elements incorporated. Secondly as someone who initially found the game to be a combination of Destiny and Borderlands which it is it also has Skyrim level customization. Honestly you need to spend at least 10 hours with this game to ever really get what it is trying to do. Having said that this game is fantastic, a huge step in the right direction! People complain about enemies taking too many hits, well honestly they have not spent much time with the game then and tried out all the various weapons and mods you can use. I felt that way too until I picked up a classic M44 Marksman rifle and started dropping enemies with a single head shot. I think many people find the amount of variation and customization this game offers a little daunting at first, I know I did for sure. The ability to run solo, or with friends or strangers for that matter is done very well. This is one that if you just dismiss it as some Destiny spin off and throw it aside you will honestly be missing out, seriously, give this game a chance because it is a true 10!

A bit late to the party as I just picked this game up a few days ago but I must say it is a lot of fun. The levels are enormous and offer great variety in how you choose to go about getting through them. Stealth is almost always the best approach but it can be fun to go all Rambo in spots. I bought the Ultimate edition and for only $25 bucks you get a lot of content, a bunch of weapon varieties and mods as well as three new missions. I have completed the main campaign and even though it's your typical kill all the **** story it was still a lot of fun. Overall I highly recommend Sniper 3, especially the ultimate edition if you have not tried it out yet.

Gamers seem to have really become a winey entitled bunch of brats. There is so much to do in this game and so many fun game modes to play I don't really understand how one can complain. The visuals are outstanding, the sound is incredible and overall the game is FUN, I mean really fun to play. You actually feel like you are a part of the Star Wars universe. Even with no real fleshed out campaign at all I have been enjoying this game daily and still do. Game modes like walker assault simply make you feel like you are part of an actual war in the Star Wars world. My advice, don't listen to all the negativity and check it out there are so many fun modes you're sure to find something you like.

Rather disappointed at all the negative reviews. It funny gamers comlain so often about titles just being more of the same over and over but when a company does innovate and do something different they complain that "it's not like the old games." Seriously have some respect for innovation which this game is FULL of to say the least. Yes I too was a bit disappointed the 3rd person cover system is gone but after playing it for a while you know what? I don't notice it at all anymore. Gone as well is the split screen co-op terrorist hunt mode which I think was a mostake as well, that being said let's move on to the good stuff. This game is a totally new and fresh take on FPS that forces you to pace yourself, communicate and seriously work together as part of a squd if you want to win. If you want to run and gun and be a lone wolf then save yor money, it doesn't work in this game. You like a band of the hand 5 fingers working together to accomplish a task and they did a great job. The other thing they did a great job with is the destructible environments!! You are not safe nearly anywhere in the game. floors, walls, ceilings, boxes, banisters nearly anything can be shot through and almost completely destroyed its amazing! It's kinda crazy when the ceiling above you explodes in a cloud of smoke and debris and a dude drops through and starts lighting you up! There is also an excellent character variety with diverse skill sets and weapon types to suite your play style or goal on a particular level. Some are far more offensive, others are defense heavy and some are a decent mix of both. There is also a decent weapon selection and good mods and load outs for each gun which made me happy. This game is also unforgiving, it has a much greater sense of realism than game like COD or battlefield and on the harder difficulties it is nearly impossible to survive without excellent teamwork and communication so be warned! I think people need to be open minded and spend some time with the game rather than simply complain that it isn't just like the old rainbow games, I mean isn't that the point?? As gamers don't we want something frsh and new? I know I do and I am very happy overall with what they have done!

Flat out amazing! The more time I spend with this game the more the subtle strategic nuances become apparent. Although it lacks a true campaign they did create an interesting objective based online campaign mode that is unlike anything I have ever played before. An actual story (granted it's skinny) unfolds as you play various forms of objective based modes against the opposing team. This is really fun and something I hope to so more of from other developers. As for everything else it is simply fantastic. It's great fu to mix up your tactics with your titan and use them to act as your guardian while you run about on foot and then jump in to make a quick escape from the heat of battle. The only thing preventing me from giving this game a solid 10 is the lack of a true single player campaign but I am willing to overlook that with so much other goodness being brought to the table, the FPS genre has truly changed and taken a step forward. Can't recommend it enough, whichever platform you choose just get it and enjoy!

Overall I really love this game, it does have a few minor flaws but nothing to speak of really. The one thing it does do very well is truly make you feel like a master thief skulking about a dark and foreboding Victorian style city. The graphics are gorgeous allowing for an exemption with the character models which isn't that big a deal since you really only see them in the cut scenes. The city is large with lots of secrets to explore and goodies to find so in that respect there is a decent amount of replay value. Attempting the missions in different play styles will also keep yo coming back for me, it can be quite challenging to make it through an entire level without being detected at all. There is also a nice set of upgrades for both your equipment as well as your skills which allow you to unlock different paths and methods of play. The story is nothing spectacular but when the gameplay and atmosphere is this good I'm willing to let that slide, most game stories aren't that great anyhow. Elements from both Human revolution and dishonored are prevalent throughout the game which is a good thing if you ask me. For a newer next gen title this game truly does shine and if you enjoyed either of the titles I mentioned previously you owe it to yourself to give this game a shot. My only real complaint is the sound when it comes to character (NPC) voices..they can be extremely loud at times and not really seem to come from any direction, which again is really nothing when there is so much goodness to be found in every other aspect of the game. Overall, I highly recommend this one as it is great fun and does a wonderful job of immersing you into it's world, check it out!!

A gorgeous hack and slash that is a blast to play. This game is simply heaps of fun and to me that is the biggest and most often overlooked aspect of gaming nowadays. The combat is vicious and fluid and delivers those "OMG!" moments as you hack off limbs and impale enemies with your sword. You have 4 categories each chosen with a direction on the D-Pad that activate different attributes and different sets of death animations in each category so mixing the combat and animations up is really up to you and not that repetitive at all. The online component is even more entertaining than the single player! Wrecking havoc in the coliseum with a friend against waves of enemies and traps is very cool and again lots of fun. You can unlock sets of weapons and armor that affect your skills online differently depending on how you suit up for battle. This game is a perfect launch title IMO as it does a great job of keeping you coming back for more and it's overall fun factor...make no mistake though, it is easy to pick up and play but can be tough to master, especially on higher difficulties. Ryse represents my first must have title for the new generation, I love this game!

Overall a fantastic entry in the Aliens franchise. The one thing this game does really well is ambiance! The sounds are all dead on and nothing is creepier than hearing the motion tracker go off and knowing they are coming for you. Is it the best FPS ever, no but it is damn good i have to say. The visuals are nice and environments look good as do the aliens. The only thing I can say is this game MUST be played in the dark, it simply doesn't work in the day. If you enjoy the franchise overall, this is the game you have been waiting for in the long list of entries that have been made in this series. The MP seems fairly decent but I have yet to spend a decent amount of time with it so can't comment too much as of yet. I will say that it is very satisfying to use the aliens and leap across the screen onto an unsuspecting victim and tear their head off!!!

Near **** far this game takes me back to the very first in the series which was and still is my favorite but for different reasons. The story in the campaign is so fantastic in this game and the characters you meet are amazing. The voice acting is incredible and you really care about saving your friends and trying to get off this island hell you find yourself trapped in. The visuals are truly gorgeous and I have never seen water that looks so fantastic and real. There is plenty to do other than push the story along even though it does get a bit repetitive. The MP is fun but a tad unbalanced from what i have played so **** me the campaign is where this game really shines. Customization is gone completely as all mods are the same for each vehicle and you unlock them in the same generic races over and over again. The online is kind of hit or miss for me...they reward crashing WAY too much. Nobody races with any finesse they just fly around slamming into you all the time. And WTF is up with the speed trials and challenge events!?! This is supposed to be a racing game!! In some events you actually have to try and PARK your car longer than anyone else in a specific spot!! That's **** object is to PARK your car?!?! What the heck is Criterion thinking!?!?! While this game is not horrible, it is no longer RE by any means. This series has become a 3rd person shooter with a cover system and a lot of QTE events. The game is still fun for the most part and it does give you heaps of replay value with all the different campaigns but the soul of the game is gone for sure. The online co-op is fun as well and serves to further bolster the replay value but again...this just isn't RE anymore. Nothing is scary or has any degree of tension **** fact it is basically run and gun for the most part. Boss fights are tedious and repetitious to say the least, I would say you could avoid this game for the most part or at the very least play it safe and wait for the prie to drop which I'm sure it will do rather rapidly.

What a game. Right away it reminds me of the first time I played the original Bioshock. The story is fairly typical but the gameplay is fantastic. Everything works well and you can really get creative in how you choose to sneak about or lay waste to everyone in your path. The amount of abilities and upgrades really give you some great choices in how you decide to go about things. I have found myself replaying sections simply to try our different tactics and see what works out best for me personally. One of the few games I have played where the stealth is actually a lot of fun and makes you feel like a total badass. The visuals are very nice as well. Some reviews say the textures are a bit muddy but I personally think it is the art style they were going for as it almost feels like you are playing a comic at times, everything is simply gorgeous. Each level also has a bunch of collectibles to keep the replay up and keep you searching for that next **** it an upgrade, collectable or simply money. Straight up amazing. As a fan of the original two games which I still have and played in the weeks before the release of 3 I can honestly say this game blows me away. The visuals are fantastic as is just about everything else from the narrative to the controls. You are quite literally the death dealer personified thanks to the fantastic bullet time Rockstar has implemented in this iteration of the series. The cut scenes are gorgeous and done with fantastic visual effects that depict Max's internal struggle with his addiction and demons from the past. Everything is just over the top. I honestly was not expecting much from the multiplayer in this game as I bought it for the story and single player campaign but again Rockstar has delivered the goods in a big way. The maps are great, although they could use a few more but it's early still. There are tons of customization options for your characters and weapons. They also have a great perk system based on adrenaline from kills that has 3 levels of effect for each perk. All of the options combine to allow you to create fantastic load outs for your character. A little light in the story dept. but most FPS games are so I'm really not going to complain about it. The texture loading is minimal and for graphics that look this good I'm not going to complain as it really has no effect on game play. There are some decent upgrades for both weapons and vehicles not to mention you can collect items and create your own stuff similar to games like Oblivion of Fallout. You also get an awesome online Mad Max road warrior style 4 player car combat mode that is really fun and frantic! This mode alone makes the game worth it to me. This is car combat done better than I have ever seen anyplace else perhaps excluding Twisted Metal. On top of that you get an online two player co-op mode very similar to spec-ops in the CoD series. Dead island is a load of fun. I never though I would see an RPG style zombie game but it's here. This is not a true RPG but it does have some great elements of the genre. The skill tree is huge and varied and really allows you to decide how you wish to level up your character. I enjoyed figuring out how I would use my skill points each level I gained & combining your skills with your characters basic proficiencies can make for some great combat. The graphics have a few minor issue such as textures taking a moment to load but to me this is not even a real issue. The game does an amazing job of conveying the sense of being trapped on an island infested with the walking dead. These are not your average zombies either. Sure some of them shamble along and appear to be aped right out of a Romero flick. However there are a ton that upon seeing you come running at you top speed, arms flailing and even throwing hand weapons at you!! This immediately conjured up memories the movie 28 Days Later which is a great thing IMO when it comes to a zombie game. The one thing this game does best is force you to think and act like it's really you trapped on the island. In the later stages of the game I found myself honestly considering at times if I wanted to take on a group of the undead I spotted at the end of the street or try and avoid them to continue on towards my objective. This was the best thing about the game for me in that you feel like a zombie apocalypse survivor, not like your sitting in your living room playing a zombie game. I have spent limited time with the online which appears to be quite good and a lot of fun. However, this game is worth the purchase price just for the campaign alone.

Saying Catherine is a different unique game is a bit of an understatement. It's a puzzle game centered around gorgeous mature pseudo cut scenes with moderate interaction. This is definitely not a game for kids as the themes and language are absolutely adult material, as are some of the boss's that chase you through the nightmare sequences. The "day time" sequences involve you interacting with your cronies in a bar where you talk to your friends, the other patrons including employees and do a few other random things. I.E. get drunk, text message your "girls" and play arcade games and so forth. The "Night time" or "nightmare" sequences begin when you leave the bar for home each night. They involve a block pushing, pulling climbing sequence that has you trying to reach the top of a tower of blocks before some odd mental representation of a life crisis catches up with you. Make no mistake, the puzzle sequences are VERY challenging. I found myself setting the game to easy to make it a bit more enjoyable and I suspect many other will or have done the same. Overall Catherine is gorgeous to look at and a lot of fun to play even if it can be frustrating at times.

Can anyone say underdog!? I picked this game up the other day as it was only $17 bucks and I had had some previous interest, but alas it got overlooked in my play list. To say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. This game has great visuals especially the use of color!! I can't remember the last time I played such a colorful game. The controls are pretty straight forward. Your basic 3D platformer with light attack strong attack for combat combos. The thing that really did it for me was the great characters and story. This game creates great characters that you can actually connect with and care about to some degree. That seems to get overlooked in a lot of games nowadays. Some may say the platforming/climbing done by "Monkey" the main character is overly simplistic. It is BTW,you see a glowing point press jump and leap to it and then look for the next glowing point. This is not a flaw to me though, this guy is a great climber, it's a huge part of his character and it allows the game to flow and for Monkey to really perform when it comes to combat. I actually felt like a bit of a bad ass playing Monkey and taking care of "Trip" the other main character of the game. The story is nothing new but it is still compelling and keeps you wanting to play more of the game. The ending was even very satisfying which I did not expect. If you are tight on cash and looking for some good old school hack/slash style combat combined with decent platforming and some cool characters, you can't go wrong with Enslaved.

The fact that the whole punch control stick flick setup was forced on us gamers before the patch was just absurd. I enjoyed the career mode but most of us play FN for the on-line challenge which is just gone now. They had a great control scheme in 3 but had to go and mess with it and it really shows this time around on-line. Not only is the game clunky to play but the interface is awkward as well. The blocking has been completely ruined with it's instant timing or no dice counter method. How this game took such a giant leap backwards is beyond me, a text book example of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." If you are looking for good on-line boxing FN3 is till the only game in town.

Yes the game has a f few bugs, occasionally texture take a moment to come into focus. Occasionally an enemy gets stuck due to poor collision detection but this stuff is pretty minor overall. The game has an absolute load of customization options for each class as well as heaps of different weapons. You can easily replay the same class and have them perform totally differently. The story is rather average, nothing new here at all, but I did not play this game for the story. I played it for the hack and slash goodness which it has in spades!! The ability to play on line is cool as well which adds to the replay and for the low end price tag it's a great **** in all if your looking for something fun and a little like old school Baldurs Gate from the PS2 / Xbox days you should check this game out for sure.

While I did enjoy my time with brink it also left me wondering.....what just happened? The overall interface is a little confusing IMO and I often had a hard time understanding who was on my team and who or what was a bot. Perhaps I am just ignorant and the execution of the team mechanic was lost on me. Nonetheless I was left with a feeling of wanting more by the time I decided to call it quits with Brink. That is not to say the game does not have it's strong points and should be outright dismissed, it just did not work for me. Both the movement and gun play in Brink is excellent. Hit detection seems to be overall excellent and clean. The movement system really had me smiling from time to time. It was great to run, jump and slide around the map avoiding enemy gunfire on the way to my next objective. There is also a great deal of character and weapon customization at ones disposal. Everything from grips, silencers to under mounted grenade launchers. Mostly standard fare but still cool. You have enough character options to truly craft a unique persona and probably not run into anyone else that looks even remotely like you, if you can determine when you are actually online with other human players which was my main problem. Some may read this and think I am a fool for not being able to determine a bot from the human counterpart, but so be it. I have been a gamer for over 30 years now and overall Brink left me a little confused. IMO it is worth a rent to check it out and see if it may be for you, but I do not think this game is worth the full $60 price tag by any means.

If you are someone that enjoys previous entries by companies like Quantic Dream you will more than likely enjoy L.A. Noire. If you are simply expecting the next Red Dead or GTA then this style of game play probably is not for you and you should give it a rent first to test the waters. I personally love the game. It has a great gritty feel and really pulls you in to the story. The cast and voice acting is great along with the dream sequences that flesh out your characters story. The city of L.A. looks and sounds amazing, one of my all time favorite game to date.
