Jim Carey brilliantly stars in this likeable comedy about growth, but is unfortunately formulaic and the protagonist is at times unlikeable.

It does its job as a touching action film, with characters you learn to care about and amazing action sequences; although the score is very odd especially at the beginning of the movie and the acting is barely average with some horrible British accents thrown in there for the fun of it.

An exceptional movie, which at its heart is about form (and how it doesn't really matter) and love. Beautifully directed by del Toro, supported by an incredible score and Octavia Spencer's hilarious supporting role really made this film what it is, which is all topped off by the ambigious ending.

This is a high quality film with a brilliant script, detailing the plot perfectly. It has a star studded cast and the topic is very interesting and gripping, although it could have been more entertaining.

Good, entertaining movie about justice with amusing performances from the leading ladies, but nothing original or heart touching, lacking depth and verging on man hating.
