This game is a great example of how to do a visual novel. Instead of just forcing the player to read, click, read, click, read, read, go to sleep, the game constantly gives something to do. Sure, those are mostly just about showing something to the two AIs in the game, but it does keep the player entertained. The story is fantastic. It's both interesting and unique and it makes you want to read everything you can. The writing is very good too. The only complaint I have about the game are the endings. Majority of the endings feel too similiar to each other. It would have been nice to more differences between each ending. If you want to "play" something what isn't about explosions and level ups, I recommend you to try this game.

The most important thing: It's actually playable. The bad news: The skill ceiling is gone in the multiplayer and the singleplayer is even shorter and easier. The singleplayer is pretty much the same as in Crysis 2. There's a lot less hand helding, but it's a bit more linear at times (Following a silly character, that shouldn't be included in Crysis!). I like that sprinting doesn't require energy and that power jumping and throwing doesn't drain all the energy. It isn't much better though. The problems of the singleplayer are how easy and short the game is. You can literally run through the campaign within 60-80 minutes. And even if you tried to play the game in the hardest difficulty level, it's still extremely easy. Cloak makes it extremely easy to kill enemies, while bow literally ruins the singleplayer. It would have also been a lot more entertaining, if Crytek tried to show some of the stuff told in the game. For example, showing fights between the rebels and C.E.L.L (The must-have evil corporation, which conquers the world with raisins). The multiplayer is now a lot more fast paced, and a lot more fun than Crysis 2 with even better map design and interactive enviroment. But just like the singleplayer, it also has many problems. Being a host pretty much means the game is unplayable due to lag compensation and terrible FPS problem. The hit detection isn't good to begin with, but it's ridicolous while being the host. The second problem is the lack of skill ceiling. You can literally be on-par with a better player by picking a specific weapon and perks err modules. It ruins the competitive aspect of the game and it ruins the competitive gameplay unless everyone agrees to use Maneuverability (Increases movement speed and makes the game more entertaining) module only. If Crytek didn't make the multiplayer easier and rush the singleplayer, the game would have been fantastic. Now it's wasted potential, which screams for improvements. And considering current-gen consoles lack in good FPS games.

No aliens, I don't want you to ruin an expansion to Crysis 1. Go away, shush! Why not? Because you're related to the story a little bit? No, I hated you since the first Crysis! Shush, shush, shush! Off you go! very well then, I shall leave. But I shall let you know that without you the game would be a lot better. Again. Especially since the game is much shorter than the first Crysis.

I'm very surprised of this game. While it doesn't shine in variety of game modes (No survival, proper tag battles etc.), it does everything it contains very well. The story mode is very fun to play ; it lasts long enough, has brilliant dialogue and the characters are very good. The multiple choices also increase replay value of the mode. The combat is probably the best I have seen when it comes to 2D fighting games: it offers delicious movement system (Dashing, super jumps and such) while the characters are fun to use. Other 2D fighting games should take note of this game. Its modes are fun to play, the gameplay is fantastic and it lasts long enough even for single players.

If you're waiting for the game to scare you, you will be disappointed. However, if you like adventure games with horror elements and good story and background, it's worth picking up. I recommend the very first Project Zero though. Even with some improvements (And very good remake), the game is still behind it. The best thing about the game is the background, enviroment and the story. While the story does have some silly things, it keeps its interest since it isin't very generic. The Japanese structures make the enviroment feel fresh and it looks nice. The background has a lot of interesting things which keeps the player searching notes and diaries. The game does have flaws though. The reason I can't call this game to be scary is due to how easy it is. My main reason of Project Zero 1 being scary is because the encounters were difficult. The player's camera can take special photos which decrease the amount of damage for a while etc, and it's quite easy to dodge attacks. Difficulty made Project Zero 1 even more scary than Amnesia and it made fighting very "fun" from the beginning to the end. The puzzles are a lot more varied now but sadly those are a lot more rare. It's mostly about finding certain keyes, there are only very few proper puzzles. The game does still feel nicely paced though. As for the remake, I would call it a good remake. The camera is now better since it's now behind the player instead of acting as a fixed camera. The graphics are very good, but ghosts don't really look scary due to their more realistic look. More blurried and less human like ghosts felt better and gave more horror look for the game. The player can now escape ghosts' attacks by shaking the Wiimote, making it even easier than the original version. The remake has also added Haunted House mode. It has good idea: doing something very simple like holding "A" button and try to avoid moving Wiimote too much and maybe taking snapshots of specific thingswhile at it. Unfortunately there isin't really anything scary; ghosts just appear and act like they try to attack you, objects drop, or weird sounds appear. Even though this game has taken few steps back compared to the first Project Zero, it's still very entertaining experience and I recommend buying it. Just don't expect chill touches for your horror entertaiment.

Good ideas, funny look but boring gameplay. That's the way I would describe this game. While it has even made me laugh, it isin't all that fun to play. The mini-games get boring due to them being so similiar to each other. The jokes get old quite quickly too. Fortunately there are variations to the platform but it doesn't really help much. The game also feels to hold the player's hand too much. Every time you unlock a new path or anything, the game needs to s....l...o...w...l...y move the camera to the place where something happens. You are forced to read the dialogue even after dying and unfortunely the dialogue also spoils too much about how to defeat the bosses most of the time. With less hand helding, more variety to mini-games and jokes, the game could be very good. Now it just falls into medicore tier, being remembered about something (Probably due to Total Biscuit's "WTF is..." video) but not something you will come back to. Still, it's a nice try.

This game must be good. No, it must be a classic, it's developed by Valve! Well, I disagree. And no, it's not due to hats. The problem I have with this game is funnily the classes itself. Picked a Spy and Pyro noticed you? Dead! Heavy noticed you, Medic is with him and you're a Sniper? Dead! Getting killed just because I didn't have a good class againts another player feels very stupid. In Section 8 for example you will have disadvanges, if your enemy has better loadout for specific style of combat but you still have quite large chance of killing the player. This game just gets the class thing wrong. Another complaint is the map design. The default maps are usually about fighting in very small/thigh corridors, which feels very annoying when playing as Scout or Spy, which like open space where they can move freely. Community made maps on the other hand just scream for snipers or scream even louder for Pyro corners (My favourite class is Pyro btw). The gameplay itself could be better, if it was faster too. Soldier and Sniper feel too effective due to how slow players' movement speeds are (Even with Scout) . Sure they are offensive based, but still a lot more annoying. The game can be fun for people, who like extremely heavily focused teamplay. Otherwise it's better to just ignore this game. I for one don't fit to the teamplay focused group, even after thousands and thousands of hats.

(Reviewing the patched version of this game) This game feels like an advanced yet prototype version of Call of Pripyat. While it does feel like a more varied free-roam game, the enviroment is a lot less interesting compared to CoP. The amount of other stalkers also brings the atmosphere down since you can see them in just about everywhere. The story isin't interesting and it feels like an excuse of saying hello to every faction in the game. It would have been a lot better to just focus on few groups in the story missions or something else instead of what it's now. The combat lacks in good weapons. From the few weapons I used, everyone of them were as accurate as a hippo trying to shoot a gun for the very first time. It's just bad design choice to purposefully let weapons be as inaccurate as in this game. If you want to visit Chernobyl, I recommend a lot more of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat. The atmosphere is a lot better, the story doesn't feel like an excuse and the combat is a lot better. This game is still enjoyable but it's more like prototype version of CoP.

"It's like Dawn of War in WW2!" More like improved version of Dawn of War. And there's nothing bad about it right now. Yeah, sometimes it's actually good to keep very similiar gameplay! Take that C- oh wait I hate that game too... The gameplay is very similiar to Dawn of War (Not in a bad way) but the additions improve the gameplay a lot and add more depth. Since there are now three different kind of control points to capture, it's now more important to decide what you want to capture first. It also adds more dirty things to do like stealing the ammunation points to prevent enemy from spamming artillery strikes. Add the fact that you need to keep control points around it secured to make use of the resources you get, there are a lot more things to do to stop the enemy. The gameplay is the most intense I've encountered in a strategy game. Playing 3vs3 is simply amazing in this game. This game is definently one of the best strategy games released. The gameplay is great and was improved from Dawn of War in right places with very good additions. You DON'T avoid this game. You'll buy this game, play 3vs3 (Or 4vs4 and such), and have a lot of fun. 24/7.

It's comeback of very fresh series and great evidence that games similiar to old school FPS games (Increadibly high skill gap, very fast gameplay) are still great and haven't become worse. It lacks in reminder of how great singleplayer campaigns can be made without overscripting, but who cares! Even having multiplayer only game is enough! The fresh gameplay works fantastically. It doesn't work as well in closed enviroments when compared to open enviroments due to the game's explosive focus. But it still works. Every kill feels very satisfying, making you play the game longer and longer. But sure this can't be just praising of the game? Well, there are few weapons, which would take forever to unlock without using real money. Yes, there needs to be a way for the developers to have money, but when the only primary explosive weapon of a specific class is Pay-2-Use, it does get a little annoying. As a good thing though, the game isin't Pay-2-Win, even with weapons like that. Can I honestly find any other bad things? No. So just like many others, I recommend this game. Its quality flies over 99.9999% of the other FPS games released today.

The games have always been great in this franchise, but this a disappointment for me. While the gameplay is improved with good changes and it's still masterpiece, the game seriously lacks in content compared to previous games. Remember Soul Calibur 2? Remember its ridicolous amounts of game modes? Remember the amount of weapons you could unlock and actually were more than just looks? Yeah, it's all gone. Weapon Master still doesn't do a comeback. Instead, we got Story mode, which takes only 1-2 hours to beat. The story is boring and while it's nice to see drawn pictures, it doesn't look so good, that I would like it. You can only use specific characters too, which is stupid (Even though there is very good reasons to why play as them). There are no team battles. No survival. No special modes where your selected weapon would affect the gameplay. Nothing except for tutorial and arcade mode. And a new game mode called Quick Battle, but in there you just select an AI to fight againts. Nothing else. The new characters feel like just younger versions of previous characters. There also is too many characters, who use weapons of random characters. That's just boring and waste of character space. The online multiplayer still doesn't work the best way. Host still gets quite a large advange. Is there anything improved? I'm so so with the character creation. While it does have some nice improvements (The clothes don't change your stats), the game forces you to level up in order to unlock new gear, which is stupid. In overrall, the game is worse than previous games in content. If you can play the game split-screen with your friends, grab Soul Calibur 2 instead. It also has a lot more content instead.

Because the game shares almost EVERY problem 99.9999% of the modern FPS games share. Lets start with singleplayer. Way too linear? Check. Stupid AI? Check. Way too scripted? Check. Way too short? Check. Ok, that went quick. What about multiplayer? Vehicles too powerful compared to other battle point rewards? Check. One-wait. This is going to take too long to just list. Some say this game is way too short compared to the price. I would say it too 99% of the time, but not in this one. Quality over quantity. To be honest, I've never been big fan of puzzle games. I usually miss something and I don't like being stuck in a single problem for more than few minutes. I would have given up in playing this game due to that, but the game still made me want to continue to play the game. Why? It was so brilliant. That's why. The puzzles are interesting, clever and funny. While the enviroment isin't really interesting and I couldn't even hear the music except for the ending, the game just keeps being enough interesting to keep going. The game also keeps adding things, making the puzzles feel fresh during the entire singleplayer. Every time a puzzle is made, you'll be rewarded with very well done monologue (And sometimes dialogue), which can make you laugh. While GLaDOS does feel a bit worse than before, the dialogue/monologue is still fantastic, proving that Valve does have quality writers (Once again!). What about the lenght? It took 5 hours to complete the game, but the puzzles and the dialogue/monologue were absolutely worth it. The game is constantly fun to play and the co-op adds even more lenght for those, who still want to solve puzzles. Even, if you're not fan of puzzle games, I recommend you to try this. I'm not fan of puzzle games either, yet the game was very entertaining.

What does the feel like many years after the overhyping? Well, not great, but not terrible either. The story is very uninteresting and the hyped things about good and evil could have been made a lot more important aspect to the game. It doesn't affect story at all, which is a shame. Now it's just more like a simple detail. The story is too short and doesn't allow you to continue after having completed it (You can only continue with your previous save files). It does have a logical reason though. The combat is good though and I like the way of leveling up. Instead of leveling up, you earn XP for specific skills, which are earned in different ways (By using magic, close combat, ranged combat). The game is still too easy though. The game is worth trying. It doesn't amaze you, but it's still worth trying.

The graphics are good for Wii game, but the immersion of being one of the characters is broken all the time, which is a shame. For example, there are numerous times, where as small thing as seeing your hands when you're climbing something, could have helped with keeping the immersion. Weapons don't also feel powerful like when using arcade pistols, though Wiimote could be blamed about it. This game is pretty long for a railway shooter, but it's still pretty short compared to other games (4-5 hours). If you can find this game very cheap, buy and play it with your friend. Batman Arkham Asylum raised the bar of how good licensed games need to be. Does Arkham City raise the bar even more? No. Is it worse? Yes and no. The gameplay is now better. Boss battles aren't repeatitive recycled '' Fight againts a big guy with the same method multitiple times in the game '' and are actually quite fun. You have bigger enviroment, with even more side missions and riddles to solve. Catwoman is a nice addition too, even though I would have appericiated, if she would have had more own missions to do. Why I said yes to is the game worse than Arkham Asylum then? It doesn't have as good Batman feeling as Arkham Asylum had. Joker isin't saying his funny dialogue much, unlike in Arkham Asylum and Riddler doesn't even react anymore, which makes solving the riddles feel less fun. The ending also felt a little lame, it didn't feel like the game is going to end at all. It has pretty good twist at least, but I wouldn't say the ending was very good. There isin't also any '' wtf lol wut '' moments, unlike in Arkham Asylum, which is a shame. The game is still great and I recommend you to buy it. Wait, you aren't fan of Batman? Don't worry! Read the book? No? Want to buy this game first before buying the game? Yes? Well, it's not the best thing to do first. Why I'm telling to buy the book, then play the game? Because the story might be difficult to follow, because it barely tells the story of the book. It pretty much tells very small amount of the book, but it doesn't have its own story. The game makes much more sense when you have read the book first. Well, how is the game other wise then? It's decent. It mixes with stealth and run 'n gun action well. Run 'n gun doesn't have the last click feel, which would make it great and stealth becomes very annoying, because of how it's pretty much based on remembering the waypoints the enemies use. I would have preferred less linear style of gameplay too, but it doesn't mean the game is bad. It's sad day to find unique and good game like this gets so low scores. If you have patience to learn the game's basics, this game is great. What's so unique about this game? Unique spawning system for example. Instead of having fixed spawn points, you choose a place you want to spawn, then you fly there, pretty much eliminating spawn camping/killing. It also gives you ability to flank enemies easily and even spawn on top of enemies! Another cool thing is the classes. You can choose any two weapons from generic weaponry and choose their ammunation, two equipment like mortars and repair tool and customize mods, which for example add more bullet damage or recharges jetpack faster. You can make very different kind of classes, making the gaming experience very different. There's a lot of cool stuff, which work good. The weapons don't kill players in a blink of an eye, making the game to have much more skill gap compared to other FPS games. Singleplayer is meh, but the multiplayer is great and worth buying for. The game is interesting and the idea of the story is very good. Unfortunely the story mode is crap. Fortunely the multiplayer saves the game by being very good, just like any other Free Radical title's multiplayer. Even better is the fact, that the game is still alive.

God of War 3 is pretty good game. It does most of the stuff pretty good and boss battles are awesome. Unfortunely the ending is absolutely annoying and bad, feels like trying to make the game longer with really useless means. I recommend Ninja Gaiden games over this, even though they are difficult.

What could be more interesting real life place to make a video game about? Area of Tsernobyl of course! It's such a shame, that there barely even is games about it, but at least it's still more than fresh place to make a game about. Call of Pripyat is the third Stalker game in the series, which I had never played before. The story isin't really anything amazing. You are have to find out why helicopters have crashed to Tsernobyl, which is now filled with people hoping to become rich by finding rare artifacts. You don't need to have played previous games. You can roam around freely the exciting areas of the game, though you are limited to go only few places during the start of the game. The atmosphere of the game is outstanding. It looks like you're in a abandonded area filled with radiation, and feels like it. Unfortunely stalkers talk with '' Yo bro wuzz up?! '' style, which breaks the atmosphere a little. NPC don't also some times attack mutants, which are trying to attack you. The game has simulation feel too. You need to eat food or you will starve to death. You need to heal yourself from wounds, though it only needs use button and nothing else to fix the wounds. If not counting the easiest difficulty, you will die really easily, forcing you to think when you should fight or not. The graphics of the game isin't that good now days, but even my crappy computer was able to run it fine with some settings set to maximum. The gameplay is great, the sound design is almost as good, the game takes increadible amount of time to complete (33 hours, I had spent time doing some side quests too) and I found myself playing it a lot of time even after it, what I usually don't do. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart, if you don't want to play arcade shooters.

This game is good example about how games should be made. Offering a lot of variety, allowing you to choose how you want to play (Even play the game by barely killing anyone!). The story is very good and it's interesting. There's only two complaints about the game. The enemies are way too accurate. It must have been used to make you really careful when sneaking, but it's not fun at all to die in two bullets when you're far away. Boss battles also don't fit to the game at all and can be really annoying, if you don't have lethal weaponry carried before those. You are also forced to kill them, which is stupid. The game didn't also feel like you really choose the story, but that really isin't so bad thing to drop scores from the game. What ever Deus Ex fan or not, you will enjoy this. Most likely the GOTY for me.

Good action game, but could have been much better. It other wise hits the Warhammer 40,000 atmosphere, but it goes for a miss with orks, because of lack of different orks. I was disappointed about the fact, that there's only tankbustas, shoota boyz, 'ard boyz, ork boyz, weirdboys and nobz. The orks were made for variety. I also found Dawn of War version of their speech to be way better. When leaving missed ork potential, the single player is brilliant, though repeatitive. You get to use jump packs, but only few times. The action is great though, thanks to encouraging to rush to the battlefield instead of staying in cover. The multiplayer had a lot of potential, but it's ruined by connection issues. Almost every match I have played is laggy. I don't encounter this problem in games like Halo Reach at all, so it's annoying. The high level players also get much better weaponry, which is annoying. Other than that, the multiplayer is good too. If you like Warhammer 40,000 universe, Space Marine is very good game for you to buy, even though it could have been improved. Even if you haven't been into Warhammer 40,000 universe, it's still good game, but you might find some things bad instead of good (For example, you might find Titus' voice acting horrible, but it actually is right in the Warhammer 40,000 universe). I recommend buying this for the Emperor, even if you are heretic.

Crysis 2 is brilliant game, but only if you have patience to wait for a patch. The story isin't great, but it's good enough even though it has plot holes. The soundtrack of the game is absolutely amazing, in fact it's one of the best soundtracks I have ever listened (Note! Hanz Zimmer made only title theme,Insertion!). The nanosuit has been simplified, you have now power, armour and cloack mode. Power mode should be called as normal mode, because you can make power moves like sliding and power jump even with cloack mode on. Maximum speed mode has been replaced with sprint, which takes energy to use. Graphics are absolutely great, it is the best looking game on Xbox 360. This game has its flaws though. Enemy AI is buggy as it some times doesn't notice players or runs againts walls. There are multitiple bugs too, but I don't list them here. If you are about to buy because of multiplayer, you should wait for a patch, because it's unplayable for now. Maximum lag ruins non-host player's game, other wise the multiplayer could be amazing, which it was during the demo. Yes, it's CoD style of multiplayer, but it's far better than CoD. Nanosuit completely changes the gameplay, making the game really tactical. In short, the game will be great in the future, wait for a month or two before buying it.

The PS2 version of Guitar Hero 5 is absolutely terrible. You have every song unlocked from the start, which is good, but doesn't help the fact that the song list is horrible. Every song are either ok or bad quality of each band. Sweating bullets by Megadeth could have been replaced with Devils island and such. Most of the songs are boring to play, because most of them are just ' play few differnent chords million times and play easy solo '. Every song loads for like 5-10 minutes and when you restart, it loads for like 3-8 minutes. Back then when GH1 was released, that game loaded each song in like few seconds and the song restarted right when you wanted. Finaly when you get to play the song, you will notice, that the game accepts when it wants, that you did hit the note right on time. Playing career only unlocks new clothes for character creator. You can't create your own songs, no hyperspeed, chart isin't enough wide, so it's hard to understand what notes you must play, which makes solo parts annoying. Don't even think about of buying PS2 version of this game. Even better, buy Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock instead! These are the reasons why I give this game 0.

This game is fighting againts TimeSplitters 2 from the best video game ever made title. Sure this game has flaws like bad AI, it's easy and maps doesn't have any kinds of details. But when you start playing the game, you will forgive any flaws and you will have great time. Story mode is fun to play and you will return to play it gladly. Multiplayer is great, mapmaker is better than ever (Though you can play only with maximum of 8 players, because of a bug). If you find this game on any store, buy it!

Could have got much better score from me, probably even a GOTY award from me if it wouldn't have some problems. Never saw annoying lags and bugs, great looking graphics, controls are good if not counting, that you can do evade move only in four dircetions. What problems in this game? Well, first of all, I completed this game on hard in 4 hours, giving you '' What? Did I already completed this game? '' feeling. Even though completing this game gives you a God Hard difficulty option, it doesn't save you from the feeling. For second problem, the end section of the game. At the final sections of the game, you will face boss battles, repeatedly. Worst of all, boss enemies which you had faced before, you will need to fight againts them, again, again and again. It just gets annoying when almost every fight is againts bosses, making you bored. Buy this only when it gets cheaper.

Old graphics already, controls feel weird, bad sound effects compared to Battlefield Bad Company 2 . Sinlge player is too short and it feels too scripted, bots have bad AI, bad story line, nothing interesting which would make it special compared to any other fps single player. Does multiplayer have anything better? No! Weapons are too powerful, knifes can hit even if you don't actually hit enemy. Still bad spawning system, still curving bullets, sniper rifles can kill you with one bullet even if it doesn't hit to your head. Bad level design. The worst thing about the multiplayer is the killstreaks. When your oppornent gets chopper gunner, you will get killed again, again, again, again and again! Killstreaks are just too annoying and powerful. Those should only give you a kill or two, not ten! In short, single player is a low-core, multiplayer is one of the worst of its kind, because of the design. Avoid this game at all cost! Single player is a little worth playing, but because it's really short (2 - 4 hours), this game is not worth buying.

Campaign is same style as before, each race has their own campaign which are now really short, each takin' 1-2 hours to finish. Predator has finaly a very good campaign where you must use stealth if you want to survive. Marine campaign is a medicore horror which is disappointing, because other AvP games had great marine campaigns where there really was moments where I scared. Xenomorph has a decent campaign, once again. Characters turns too slowly. It's annoying, because in multiplayer, I got killed some times only, because xenomorph turned too slowly so I could avoid finishing move. Fighting system is now like rock-sciccors and paper. Light attack beats heavy attacks, heavy attack beats block and block beats light attack. This would work other wise fine, but these attacks hits enemy automatically which is really annoying if you're trying to step back trying to avoid enemy attacks. You can also do jump attacks with xenomorph and predator. Funny thing about the marine in close combat is, that you can defeat predators and xenomorphs easily as you can block light attacks and shoot the enemy before he can hit with his heavy attack. Weapons are also dissapointing. You have only 4 weapons for Predator (Plasma cannon, disc which doesn't lock-on anymore, spear which you can't use as a close combat weapon, mines), no spear gun, no net shootig gun, no plasma pistol means predator fans will get dissapointed. Marine doesn't also have minigun and smart gun doesn't have same sound as in the movies. Online multiplayer features same old death matches, survivors and predator hunt game modes. Survivor is named now infection, because there is survivor game mode where you must survive againts xenomorph hordes. Easy, but fun to play game mode. Unfortunely, it takes ages to gather players to play with in ranked matches. What you unlock from playing those? Skins, but unfortunely, unlike in avp2 where each skin had their own weapon arsenal and powers, these has nothing special powers and weapon arsenals. Weapons are also obtained by searching them over the map like in the old times. Aliens vs Predator is a good game, but it can't be compared to the early AvP games. Online multiplayer is also dying so I don't really recommend buying this game.
