Killzone
The innovative controls for the sniper rifle don't allow the player to pull off precise headshots when they're needed most, which leads to rising frustration.
If the gameplay matched the atmosphere, Killzone would be a real winner.

Killzone was worth the wait, and matches the hype. It hits the mark in so many ways, it's baffling; they promised us we'd experience fugture war, and we have...and come away shaking. [Holiday 2004, p.70]

most weapons are useful and have Enought ammo, almost every weapon have a secondary Fire which makes them Different, There's Sprint, You don't stop using Zoom when You take Damage, you can customise the Controls,There's Local multiplayer and was Nescesary, Health only regenerates at Certain portions and Enemies sometimes drop Health packs, most full Auto weapons act like not having Rifling or Barrel, Pistols are Slow but accurate and don't have Zoom, you can't jump, it lacks enemy Variedity and highter rank enemies simply have more Health, the AI isn't great, on Highter Dificulty the enemies simply do more Damage but don't have extra Health, Some levels lack Checkpoints forcing you to memorise them especially the enemies with Grenade launchers,There's Frame drops on Open Areas. i personally like it and if it didn't have Splitscreen i Would give it a low Rating

It's graphically stunning, the sound effects and music immerse you into a tense and exciting atmosphere of total chaos, a strong story compels you through a long single player campaign full of variety and challenge against tough enemies and the fully online multiplayer mode can be played split screen with a bunch of bots for those without a network adapter.

In spite of its sorted technical problems and humdrum story, Killzone provides a great ride; perhaps it's a testament to the game's surplus of style and ambiance that it remains enjoyable throughout.

Great game, my childhood on top of COD and Medal of Honor. This game really pushed Sony exclusives.

With some better controls, more polish and better hardware, Killzone could have been a real contender for best console FPS.

The game is also a trying experience online. Apparent lag, even though you're playing on broadband, is everywhere. Character animations are limited and it's difficult to target someone from long distance.

There's still some fun to be found here, but ultimately Killzone is a barely adequate game that probably won't hold your attention for very long.

Like the game’s aiming, Killzone misses the mark by a mile. Afflicted with so many niggling problems it has ended up a shambles of game which barely delivers on any front.

Hailed as the "Halo killer" of its time, it never lived up to that premise. Overall though it is a very good and highly underrated game.

I'm gonna be honest, there's only three things I will remember out of this game: Some of the soundtracks (Joris de Man can make a generic soundtrack one second and an eargasm the next), the Helghast's fantastic, intimidating look (I swear what is it with PS-exclusive shooters and cool looking villains?) and how BAD the rest is: Tasteless graphics and repetitive levels, souless characters (except Hakha) Same as Resistance: Fall of Man, I'd suggest a remake treatment.
