Witchcraft

Sigh. It's really easy to overlook the huge amount of effort the designers, modellers, artists, developers, audio engineers, etc put into a title like this, just to see it come crashing down with short-sighted decisions by executives like implementing premium currency, mediocre updates to the gameplay and going so bloody woke. Truly disappointing from a gamers perspective.

I largely stopped playing ubisoft games after AC Valhalla. It took the company's anti-christian leanings from openly venomous, to encouraging severe hatred with lines like "Kill Christ and Destroy his house" being spoken by the apparent "good guys" in the franchise. That all said, I'm not Christian, but I am anti-hate, and Ubisoft crossed the line. Still, I decided to give FC6 a try, and... I have to agree with a lot of the negative reviews... This is unoriginal, idiotic, un-fun and just a cash grab full of bad design ideas and worse writing. Skip this game, go play 3, 4 or 5 (though personally I think 3 and 4 are the best in the franchise, and in that order).

Sigh. Had I not gotten this game for free, this would have been the 3rd time I've paid for it. Borderlands has barely changed since the first title and even that wasn't original. It had it's charm, but it was a tarantino spin on heavily armed rednecks in space with diablo-style loot and occassionally good humor. Sadly, Borderlands 3 is... exactly... the same... game. This is a waste of money. Just go play the first two games. Hell, even play the terrible pre-sequel if you have to, but don't encourage 2K to sell us recycled games any more.
