It is 2016 and I still play this game's soundtrack. One of the deepest stories in an RPG, one of the best combat systems, and one of the best Original Sound Tracks.... One of my top 5 favorite RPGs of all time.

It's a good game. However, it is definitely not worth the subscription for more than 3 months, imo. AvA is probably the most unbalanced I've **** you will be stuck there for 3 months... PvE is pretty good, I personally enjoyed the story. All in all, try it yourself.

The Good: Beautiful world; Excellent pacing with leveling; Crafting is meaningful; Friendly community; The combat system is standard MMO flare. (if you like that); Fates steal from Rifts events, but not as fleshed out as GW2's Dynamic Events The Bad: Many people can't play; No AFK-auto kick system (ensuring that people continue to consume server space); Poor launch; Bugged quest system won't allow progress; EXTREMELY linear kill-10-rats/gather-10-rats quest design The combat system is standard MMO flare. (if you don't like that) The ugly: You can pay 8 bucks a month to watch 75,000 movies and 20,000 tv shows on Netflix. You can pay 5 bucks a month to play PS+ games for free. You can pay 6 bucks a month to rent games from gamefly. B2P and F2P games don't have any fee associated with them. So why would you pay 15 dollars a month, on top of a 30-40 dollar box fee, to play one game? Especially one that you can't even log into

So much **** it feels like a beta.Stop releasing games that are not ready for market. Hopefully it has the population to gain some money to make it better. For now, though, it needs way too much work, especially to justify a subscription.

If you want to buy it, you can find it for less than 40 bucks online. The show looks **** game is pretty "meh" at the moment. * Combat is good, but it's standard TPS. * Quests get repetitive REALLY quick (run to point, kill spawns, hold E, repeat) * Menus need some work * Mods give weapons a custom feel. * Game has nearly NOTHING to do with the show (so far) I bought the game because I trust Trion. I'd wait 3-6 months to see where this one goes.

This game is beauty incarnate. When discussions involving games being works of art occur, this game will be up there with Shadows of the Colossus and ICO. Gameplay is brilliant. A mix between the old and the new really gives the combat its own unique flare. The leveling curve has you level up every 60-90 mins regardless of how close you are to the cap. In addition, you can level up in so may different ways, if you're ever bored of doing something, you can try something else. This game is, imo, the best MMO on the market right now. I am giving it a 9 because even after all the stress tests, it still has a buggy trading post and mailing system. However, should those get fixed in the first week post launch, I'll change my score. In short: buy it now, or buy it later; just make sure you make this one part of your PC library.

A gem system ruins what should really be quite a solid fighter. However, somehow Capcom thought this long awaited cross-over would be a great time to experiment with P2W concepts in fighting games. Truly a shame.

Not quite the best MMO so far. However, this game has an amazing foundation and depth. Funcom really redeemed themselves with this game. The quests are actually well fleshed out for the most part; however, combat needs to be polished a bit more. Though the game had a good launch, it really did not have that much stress put on their servers due to population. TSW is a game that is going to start out small, but grow continuously throughout it's life span. If funcom keeps the game up to date, you're going to be hearing ALOT more about TSW than you have in the past.

This game was the first hint that Bioware would be taking player choices and then removing them entirely from the equation. They removed everything that was enjoyable about DA, scrapped your choices from the old game, and then charged you the full price... GG, Bioware.

I liked it more than Fallout 3. However, it doesn't feel nearly as groundbreaking as it's predecessor. It's more of an evolution than a revolution.

Tekken 6 is the most fun I've had since Tekken 3 in a fighting game. This is quite possibly the most balanced roster of fighters in the genre. I commend the dev team for spending so much time making the game incredible. Some gripes: online play will d/c you randomly. I would say it happens 2-3 times an hour for me at best...4-6 times at worst.. The story is...confusing at this point. I would like to see Tekken hire some writers and start fresh. Other than that, it's fighting perfection.

Playing Skyrim on a console is amazing. Playing Skyrim on a PC with an active modding community makes the game a truly unique experience. If you own Skyrim on a console, I recommend purchasing a second copy for your PC when you get the chance. You will NOT regret it.

Skyrim should have gotten a 9 or a 10 from me. I'm STILL playing it right now. However, the PS3 version was unacceptably flawed at release. It's making me reconsider ever pre-ordering from Bethesda again, which is a shame because now that the bugs are fixed, Skyrim is probably the best RPG I have every played.

TERA

User ScoreVorch
May 2, 2012
I'd like to preface this by saying that TERA has alot of potential. However, the biggest threat to TERA's success isn't coming from any current or upcoming MMO; it's coming from TERA. Mainly, the 1-19 leveling experience. It takes a 6-8 hours to start having fun in the game. That means if you have one of each of the 8 classes (like myself), you will wind up spending 48-64 hours doing the most unimaginative and mundane quests in MMOs in the last 5 years. It is the single stupidest thing that a generally smart dev team has done for this game. THIS needs to be changed before I can give TERA a good score (-2 points). And no, the 20 min prologue did not **** only serves to confuse new players. Character Design There is enough variance to make most people happy, but you will be playing someone with an overly sexualized body, or a baraka/amani. I was very happy with my Archer Combat Combat is stupid easy for the first 1-19 levels. The monsters in general are either small and don't take much damage or big enough that there really isn't that much of a challenge in aiming. Level 20, you fight your first BAM, which is quite a jarring and fun experience. However, it only serves to highlight the absolute idiocy of having the first 6-8 hours be so lame. EME has FUN stuff in the game!! WHY don't they show it to you outside of the 20min prologue? Questing Not going to even talk about it. It's nothing special. Final Opinion I feel that TERA is a waste of HUGE potential. It's an MMO that forgot the RPG. Is it a good MMO? Yes. Is it good enough to warrant the $50-80 box cost + 10-15 bucks a month or chronoscroll cash grind? I don't think so.
