Nioh 26

I'm glad to face the challenge in any 1 on 1 fight with a strong enemy. But in this game, only the intense BOSS fights could give me good feelings. NIOH 2 lacks new designed enemies, but embedded too many conspiracies. Always surrounded by the enemies that I have fighted many many times. Nothing changes since NIOH 1. Nothing changes in level design. Far behind Soul's series, not interesting at all.

Warcraft III: Reforged1

Unbelievable. I cant find any improvement from the original Warcraft 3. How can they have the nerve to name it "Reforged"? I can give no more than 1 point, just in memory of the lost Blizzard.

In terms of technology level, this game is great. Magnificent indoor scenes and objects capable of throwing and destroying make this game very impressive in the first few hours. BUT! Unfortunately it becomes boring after that. Obviously this game takes a lot of experiences from other great games, Dark souls, Nioh, The legend of Zelda, Castlevania, for instance. However, I feel that they only learnt bad things from them. Especially boss fights, extremely boring. No unique designs, no impressive skills. Only attemptions to increase the difficulty by a mass of enemies. And, I cant control the time or the place of the battles. This game names CONTROL, but I felt I cant control anything by myself.

Persona 510

Persona 5 is the most attractive JRPG in the recent decade. I have never seen such fashionable design of user interface, color, music, and the actions of characters in other games. This game is also rich in gameplay. The core gameplay experience of RPG is the cultivate of Persona, with a system of full interest and complexity. The experience fighting with the enemies using the Persona cultivated by yourself was wonderful. Along with the processing of the game, you have many options to interact with other characters, such as outdoor playing, watching movies, shopping, sending gifts. You can hepl them, solve problems for them, become their true friends and find their hidden stories. The process is absolutely additive. The length of the main story is over 80 hours filled with enjoyment and surprise. Regretfully, the gameplay in later game period lacked polishment more or less. The repeating maze design made me really upset. But this is the only flaw I could find in P5. It is an amazing game for almost every single person.

Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne8
Nov 14, 2019
Iceborne is the expansion for MHW with the introduction of master rank. It is also the tradition of MH series, which is called "G" before. As a player who has played through almost all MH series, I think Capcom has tried their best to make things right in MHWI. Many classic monsters were remade by HD models with much more abundant details and new movements. The production and upgrade of new equitments are always additive. The introduction of claw is also interesting more or less. Many new methods to deal with monsters' movements have been created. The gameplay before clear is absolutely fascinating. However, the design of later game period is terrible. Guiding land was absolutely **** I can't understand why it could get through as the main gameplay content after game clear, especially on the basis of their interesting, additive ultimate quests in MH4U and MHGU. In former MH with G expansion, the later gameplay experience is full of challenges of course, but the designs of monsters allowed players to face the challenges. But in MHWI, what I saw was only the repeating experience repeated over and over again. It is still a good expansion for MH of a new age, but regretfully far from great.

Death Stranding8
Nov 14, 2019
This game is one of the most difficult to give a score I have ever seen. For different players, the feelings could be totally different. The lack of gameplay has been extensively mentioned by all current reviews, especially in the first 10 hours from the beginning. With the processing of the game, transportation facilities will be unlocked and this game could finally be enjoyed. The most fascinating part is the help from other players which makes the process of the game never lonely again. However, somehow it is still not enough given the frame of open world gameplay. But I think the theme "connection" has been well pointed out by the performances of the actors, scenes, music and even the "poor" gameplay as well. Maybe Death Stranding is the only game I could truely feel "warm". From this point of view, it is still a good game.

Monster Hunter: World9
Nov 14, 2019
With the change from handheld console to console, the game screen has achieved great evolution. There were new and interesting interation mechanisms included in the maps and monsters as well. As the game proceeded, we finally know that the game is still Monster Hunter. The fights with monsters who were much stronger than human beings are always full of excitement, always. As a player of former monster hunter series, the design of new monsters in MHW is still charming. With the approval of console, there were much more details in both the models and actions of the monsters. The remake of the monsters existed in former MH was satisfying as well. However, there were also problems created by this evolution. Besides the bugs and weird movements of the monsters, the turf war was upsetting after saw them over and over again. Also, the landform full of steps and slopes made it extremely difficult to enjoy the combat in later game period. Besides, the music was too mediocre to be remembered. Anyway, I still agree that MHW is a necessary evolution for MH series. With this platform, the future of MH is worth expected.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin9
Nov 14, 2019
The first game I played in Souls' series. Before I started the game, I just want to have a try and kill time since I had never heard of FROM SOFTWARE and Mr. Miyazaki at that moment. This game was not directed by Mr. Miyazaki, as I knew later, but most of the systems were inherited from DS1 to DS2, which made the gameplay still full of excitement. The shortcomings of DS2 were obvious, of course. The lack in complexity of map design, the structure and logic of the story, and many many boss fights without polish. However, they could not prevent me from being a real fan of FS. It was the first time I could be myself in a game. The simultaneous growth between me and my character strengthened this feelinig over and over again. The sense of substitution is one of the best in the games I have ever played. To me, DS2 is the game opened the gate of an entire new world.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice9
Nov 14, 2019
The first game from Mr. Miyazaki after the amazing achievement of Soul's series. It is also the first step to break through the limits of Soul's series. The excitement striking your enemies' blades was absolutely charming. The action design of each elite and boss enemy was full of personality. The process focusing on the enemies' movements was still attractive, and made the experience of gameplay totally different from former Souls' series. However, the reinforcement of combat experience also weaken the sense of exploration as well as the growth of the character, and the sense of substitution. This game was full of challenge as Souls, absolutely. But it was just the story of Sekiro, not mine.

Dark Souls III9
Nov 14, 2019
The game with a comprehensive expression of all Soul's series, including BB. In DS3, the combat remains exciting. The exploration of the map is still full of interest. During the game, the growth of my character and myself was always satisfying, the sense of achievement after I beated a strong enemy as well. I kept trembling before I entered the game. However, it is still just one of DS series, without any ambition to break through this limit. As the end of DS series, DS3 was not bad, but far from perfect.

Bloodborne10

This game is the motivation to buy PS4, and also my first console game. Before BB, I have played DS1 & 2, and also fully experienced the "evil" game design from Mr. Miyazaki, haha. Repressed atmosphere combined with extraodinary and refreshed combat made this game awesome. Compared with traditional ACT, BB is not rich in options of actions, but the combat versus strong enemies and monsters is still very very exciting. With limited options, you need to focus on the movements of you enemy, observe and think carefully, and decompose them before you can beat them. The process is definitely full of interest and challenge. Exploration is fun as well. Many NPCs, valuable side quests and props are hidden in a certain corner in the game. Play with patience, and you will find a new world.

Golden Sun10
Nov 14, 2019
The most outstanding turn-based RPG game, no one. The combination of the gameplay mechanism, the design of world outlook and maze, the combat and collecting system was absolutely amazing. All of the game content attracted me so so much. In that period, Golden Sun is a fantasy world that really existed, and also a game of dream for me to become a real alchemist or magician, and write my own story.

Once I saw a cut scene of this game, I was caught. Just be caught for no reason. I had played this game for nearly 5 years. Almost all of the time after class, I was immersed in this game, competing with other players. Keep on fighting, no matter how many times you lose, and finally you can improve your skill again and again. I enjoyed this process very very much, but only when I was young. The pressure of you life as an adult makes it extremely difficult and tired to face the challenge with others. I retired, but the happy memories will remain in all days to come.
