So good. So freaking good. Best movie about a trans woman I have ever seen. They did everything right. Played by a trans woman. Were blunt about gender vs sexuality. Didn't end in tragedy. Tackled issues about suicide in the community. Showed the goodness of people when you are at your lowest. I am thankful for Michelle Hendley and the rest of the cast and members for making such a great movie. Not just for society at large, but especially for #GirlsLikeUs.

This symphony of artistic style and scientific elegance allows those who aren't passionate about science appreciate it and those who love it so experience it in a new way. The Martian shows how knowledge and problem solving can save your life and how we shouldn't give up on the human dream of reaching for the stars, now more than ever. This movie makes my list of favorite movies.
