Best turn-based RPG I've played since Persona 5. I felt like I was playing an evolution of the turn-based RPG with the unique combat style and gameplay mechanics. Quite refreshing to see that people are still trying to be original out there. This could have easily been another bloated open world where you're buried in side quests. This game does a great job of balancing difficulty, grinding, and all of the things that have ruined so many RPGs lately. Highly recommend.

Combat is sluggish and there is a micro-transaction to edit your character after the start. Was looking forward to checking out a Monster Hunter game. Maybe the older ones are better.

Seemed like it was going to be a good puzzle game, but felt dizzy and almost nauseous about 30-45 min in. Never felt that with a game before. There are settings to adjust but didn't feel like spending a bunch of time tinkering with that.

I thought I was going to like this one. Initially, I thought the mechanics and dialog were unique and was enjoying the game. However, in true RPG fashon, there is an issue with balancing the difficulty with grinding. If you don't grind enough, you will have no chance beating bosses and will be forced to go back and do tedious battles with enemies in the open world until your character gets more exp. This game has that in spades and I was not trying to skip battles, I just didn't go around and hunt down every enemy I could. I got bored of that and had to give this one up, unfortunately.

I really disliked this game. Combat is a major component to the game but your supposed to avoid it for the first 8+ hours of the game. There is a ton of trial and error getting off the first island of the game, and trying different ways to solve a problem will often get you the same result, such as having a conversation with someone that is supposed to have a different result based on your answers, often is non-consequental. I say this as someone who really enjoyed Balder's Gate. I'm not saying the game is bad, just that I didn't enjoy it at all.

This game is very fun and interesting to play. Combat is very well done, and there's a surprising amount of story and character development for a game of this type. There is also a ton of replay value in this and it's one of those games that I will come back to every once in a while as long as I am still playing games.

First of all, the graphics are amazing. The art style and open world are so detailed and well done. The characters are also very well developed and keep you interested. The playthrough can feel routine at times; going to an area, fighting all the enemies, going to the next area, completing a puzzle to traverse to the next section, and repeat. The combat was very well done and fun throughout my playthrough.

The story, and the way your story can be altered based on your decisions makes this game uniquely good. Enjoyed all 175 hours I spent playing on this (including both DLCs)

I was almost getting hooked on this game until I saw how grindy the dungeons are. Really like the combat system and how you develop architypes, but it's really not fun having to manage the level of your party to complete boss fights. You can easily get wiped out in one shot by a boss if you don't grind enough in the dungeon, and it's a guessing game as to how much grinding is enough which results in a lot of grinding trial and error.

Overall, a pretty good game that could have been great with a few adjustments. First of all, making you sign into a Capcom account every time you turn the game on is annoying and breaks the immersion. Secondly, having players unavailable right off the bat because you didn't buy the "Deluxe" version was off-putting. Lastly, the idea of a story mode is great, but is a bit grindy and tedious. You essentially need to fight every person you encounter on the street as you're going from point A to B throughout the entire playthrough in order to be leveled up enough to get through the late part of the game. That is why I will not end up finishing the game. I could either walk around and fight everyone I see for eight hours straight to level up or just move on with my life. I will continue to play arcade mode and online. Probably will not buy any DLC unless they give a lot more characters. I liked the way the old games (and Nintendo in Smash Bros) allows you earn the new characters.

Had a great time playing through Mario Wonder. Platforming feels great throughout and is fun to play at a fast pace. Different level types, such as KO arena, break time, wiggler races, and rhythm/tempo keeps things fresh as you're playing. Only complaint is that I wish there was more content. There was about as much as any 2-D Mario game but I felt like I wanted more as I was nearing 100% completion which took me around 24 hours. Hope they continue to support the game in the coming years.

I had a great experience with this game from start to finish. I can see why it has been popular for so long and didn't realize there are user-created levels on PC. The possibilities are endless on what fun puzzles can be made with this concept.

Graphics, story, characters, game play, world design are all great. Inventory management is very time consuming and tedious. I ended up quitting out of frustration because the game freezes when using the chest at camp to manage inventory. Spend too much time in that chest for the game to be freezing on me every other time I'm trying to do something. Too bad because I was enjoying the game otherwise. Big improvement over Divinity Sin 2 on Switch.

I wish I would have bought a hard copy of this game and not a digital download. What a waste of money. Gran Turismo used to be such a great game. Can't believe they ruined it with such an awful menu setup, game flow, and interface. On top of that, they have introduced micro-transactions to buy cars. Forza is definitely your best bet for a racing simulator. Forza is more like what Gran Turismo used to be and I'll not be buying a Gran Turismo game ever again unless the user reviews are 8.0 or better.

Not really my cup of tea, but a well done game nevertheless. If you're looking for a relentlessly challenging melee combat game, this will be perfect for you. I would have enjoyed it more myself if the story wasn't so buried and the characters you encountered had more to say than a cryptic message. The open world is stunning and well designed although navigating through it feels awkward at times; especially when platforming is required. Might give it another chance sometime in the future.

Great story! I enjoyed every minute going through this. Even though there are just still images and music, they do a great job of creating atmosphere. This was my first graphic novel, so I was a little confused on how to bookmark my progress and pick up where I left off quickly. Wish there was a little more explanation on that but perfect otherwise.

I did not have a great experience with this game. Didn't end up finishing because I found the backtracking to be tedious. However, the art style, atmosphere, music, and graphics were great. It's a well designed game with smooth controls and interface. Just not my cup of tea as is the case with most games of this style. Is definetly worth a try though!

One of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Loved the cell shade art style and the lively villages full of interesting people. The open world is full of interest. Many times I set out to do something, but found myself wandering around from place to place, checking out various things that caught my interest in the open world and completely forgot about my original objective. Controls are smooth and precise, but takes a while to get a grip on how to use all of the abilities. I was probably 30hrs in before I was comfortably using the abilities, and still messed it up from time to time throughout the game. The user interface was much improved over Breath of the Wild, but could have used further quality of life enhancements such as remembering favorites for crafting a fire with pine cone or only showing relevant items for cooking, fusing to arrows instead of managing large menus with each item every time. Music is amazing. It really enhanced the feel of each place you visit and gave each space an identity. Performance was not bad as well, I didn't experience any crashes or major glitches. The only issue I had performance-wise was the frame rate dropped quite a bit, especially in areas with lots of vegetation. Overall, could not recommend this game enough whether you are a open world sandbox fan, or want to try one out for the first time. Anyone who liked Breath of the Wild should be pleased with all that was built on top of it with Tears of the Kingdom.
