God of War III Remastered8
Mar 30, 2026
One of the best GOW games in the series. Stable frame rates, improved graphics, simple controls, visually impressive environments, very satisfying and challenging combat, iconic and memorable boss fights, epic soundtrack, good cinematic presentation, unique weapon variety, great mix of action and puzzles, brutal finishing moves, and overall great. The only problems are that is this game is way too short, annoying fixed camera angle and average story depth. Overall, GOW 3 is still a great game in the series.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare7
Mar 26, 2026
Overhated COD game. The campaign is really underrated, great character development, characters are slightly memorable, fun Campaign main and side missions, solid visuals and graphics, smooth gameplay, strong musical score, creative Zombies mode, unique futuristic setting and cool weapons. Online and local multiplayer is decent. The jetpack mechanism isn't the best, but it's good enough. The problems are is that the campaign is way too short, most multiplayer maps are average and the campaign's main villain is forgettable and doesn't get enough screen time. Overall, COD: Infinite Warfare is a solid FPS game. It doesn't deserve the hate.

Injustice: Gods Among Us - Ultimate Edition7
Jul 2, 2025
This game is good, but i wish it could be better. The story mode is decent. It has a great DC character roster including 6 DLC characyers and a special guest, Scorpion. The stages are interactive, which is pretty cool, it's easy to learn, has some cool alternate costumes and it has good single-player content. The STAR Labs mission thing is decent, but repetitive. Some problems include the graphics look dated, with no changes from the older consoles like the PS3. Online modes can lag, limited game modes, extreme grind for trophies and AI difficulty spikes. Overall, Ultimate Edition is not a big of an upgrade compared to the standard version on older consoles, but it's still a good game.

Grand Theft Auto V10
Jul 2, 2025
GTA V is easily one of the best games. About the story, the three main protagonists have unique playstyles, it has strong character development, and has great pacing overall. The open-world map is absolutely huge, making it fun to explore and do some extra missions and activities. It's also highly replayable. It has a great soundtrack, great voice acting, well-optimized, lots of vehicles and customization. GTA Online is slightly decent, but some players can be too toxic. The only flaw is that the loading times are WAY too long. Overall, GTA V is just peak.

EA Sports UFC 36
Oct 7, 2025
EA Sports UFC 3 is definitely not the greatest UFC/MMA game. But, it does have some pros. It has realistic striking with the motion tech thing, a big roster of fighters, smooth animations and visuals, decent mechanics, and replayable with multiple modes. The problems are that UFC 3 can be hard for new players, Career Mode is good but will quickly get old and repetitive once you reach the GOAT level of your career, unfair AI enemies, online servers shut down, limited ground offense, few tutorials and it can sometimes feel clunky. Overall, UFC 3 is an ok MMA game, but could be better.

Resident Evil: Revelations 28
Feb 27, 2026
Revelations 2 is a good RE game. The design of the zombies and monsters are pretty cool, Raid Mode is great and the episodic campaigns are fun to play, especially with a friend. The graphics, sound design and character development are good. It has one of the most intense horror atmospheres out of any mainline RE game. But there are problems, The grind in Raid Mode can feel repetitive. Another thing that's repetitive are the level designs. Boss fights can feel frustrating and unbalanced, clunky controls in tight spaces, and there's inconsistencies in the AI enemies. Overall, Revelations 2 is a good game, but not one of the greatest in the mainline franchise.

Batman: Arkham Knight8
Feb 19, 2026
Batman Arkham Knight is a good superhero story game. The visuals and graphics are stunning, especially for a 2015 game. Some things like the rain affects have amazing details. The combat system is fast, smooth and excellent overall. The open-world of Gotham City is very detailed and has a great atmosphere. It also has great voice acting, mainly the Batman voice actor that had the best performance. The side quests are also fun to play featuring iconic villains, but side quests could get repetitive. The gameplay of the Batmobile adds variety to missions. Only problem with the Batmobile though is the game focused too much on the Batmobile, especially on tank battles. 100% game completion also needs long and heavy grinding. Overall, Arkham Knight is one of the best Batman Arkham games out there for the PS4.

WWE 2K256
Feb 17, 2026
WWE 2K25 for the PS4 feels ok. It has improved core gameplay, has the largest roster out of any WWE 2K game so far, has new features like Intergender matches and the MyRise and Showcase modes feels stronger compared to 2K24, but 2K didn't add The Island mode in old-gen consoles. The Universe mode is still great, but lacks improvements compared to previous WWE 2K games. Like any 2K sport game, the microtransactions and long grinding are the main issues. 2K25 also heavily relies on DLCs, 2K25 isn't really a massive improvement from 2K24 and it has technical issues. Last, but the least, MyFaction. The biggest problem in the franchise since 2K22. It's a pay-to-win and terrible game mode. It's not even worth it to play MyFaction. Overall, WWE 2K25 for the PS4 is decent wrestling game and is not really different from new-gen consoles.

NBA 2K266
Feb 17, 2026
NBA 2K26 for the PS4 feels heavily recycled. It has the EXACT SAME MyCareer builder, graphics, gameplay, scoreboard, game modes, archetype names and the backgrounds as 2K25 for PS4. Only changes are the rosters and soundtrack. Despite that, 2K26 feels solid. It has that classic 2K gameplay. The large but recycled variety of modes like MyCareer, MyTeam, MyLeague and Play Now are still playable and has some replay value. It has a stable performance and runs smooth. The flaws are, 2K26 is another basic cash grab 2K game. They heavily rely on microtransactions and the PS4 version still lacks improvements compared to previous installments. It also doesn't have the ProPLAY animations that appear on newer consoles. 2K still hasn't fixed the online issues and bugs. Overall, NBA 2K26 for the PS4 is decent, but it's better you get the newer ports of the game.

Mortal Kombat 118
Jul 2, 2025
Mortal Kombat 11 has great, polished fighting mechanics and the story mode has good and strong production value. It has a strong but slightly limited character roster (excluding DLCs) and lots of ways to customize the characters. It has excellent visuals and presentation for a PS4 fighting game. The fatalities and brutalies are brutal and iconic. The game modes like Towers of Time are fun, great and has some replay value. The tutorial modes can also be very helpful. The microtransactions are ok, not a pro nor a con. The flaws are unlocking gear, cosmetics, skins and characters can feel very grindy, which can feel frustrating and boring. It has DLC reliance, meaning some of the characters and content are locked behind paid DLC. The online matchmaking and connection quality can be sometimes inconsistent. Overall, MK11 is a great and fun fighting game for the PS4'

God of War10
Feb 9, 2026
God of War (2018) is THE best PS4-exclusive story based game. Its incredible story, characters and deep emotional narrative are perfect. I completed the main story two times and i will never get bored of it. The father-and-son relationship of Kratos and Atreus gets and feels deeper over time you play the story. The combat system is satisfying using the Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos. It has great but slightly slow pacing with a strong and massive open-world exploration. It also has gorgeous visuals and presentation for a 2018 game. Its one-shot cutscene camerastyle makes an immersive experience. No flaws for this game. Overall, GOW 2018 is a top-tier story game and definitely recommended to play.

Horizon Zero Dawn8
Feb 10, 2026
HZD is one of the best PS4-exclusive story games. It has a stunning open world and visuals. It also has a engaging story and worldbuilding. The graphics, combat, storytelling and controls are great. Aloy, the main protagonist is well-written. The soundtrack and sound design are also great. The cons are that the side quests and fighting machines can get repetitive and also get boring over time. Despite the combat being great, it can also get repetitive. Managing your inventory and the climbing mechanics can get slightly frustrating. Overall, HZD is a great PS4 story based game, recommended to play.

Detroit: Become Human9
Feb 8, 2026
Detroit: Become Human is one of the story games that is absolutely peak. The choices you make actually affect your ending, which is good and fun if you want to unlock and get all the different 85 endings. The graphics are absolutely great and the characters really look like the actors/actresses portraying their respectable characters, despite being released in 2018. Other great things include the character development, the characters and story. But, some missions can be boring and slow-paced. In most Kara missions, all you do is walk around with or without Alice and find shelter. Other missions from the other two characters like Time to Decide and Russian Roulette can get boring. Despite those flaws, there's also more great things about the game like its replayability, flowchart feature, extras section, slightly easy difficulty and basic controls. Overall, DBH is a great story game by Quantic Dream.

Marvel's Spider-Man9
Feb 8, 2026
A near-perfect superhero story game. I absolutely praise the story, combat, mechanics and web swinging system. The open-world is beautiful and massive so you can do other side quests like collecting backpacks, discovering landmarks, doing side missions and clearing out hideouts and bases. The graphics, visuals and voice acting are also great things about the game. The only thing that doesn't make this game a 10 are the MJ and Miles' missions. They feel slightly boring and slow, especially the missions where MJ is in Norman's apartment and Miles needs to get anti-biotics for F.E.A.S.T. Overall, Marvel's Spider-Man is a great story game and definitely recommended for someone new to PS4 story-based games.

Gran Turismo Sport6
Feb 8, 2026
GT Sport is a racing game exclusive for the PS4. Since the online servers have shut down since 2024, the modes available feel very limited. Despite the limited modes, the modes are slightly fun to play. It has great driving physics and visuals. But, you mostly only get 1 new main circuit every time you level up, which is a slightly big flaw. It also has no career mode and the modes currently playable can get repetitive and boring. The Driving School mode can help new players to the game of how to play properly but will get old quickly. Overall, GT Sport is a good racing game but the weakest in the GT franchise.

Resident Evil 67
Feb 8, 2026
RE6 is way too overhated. The graphics, four campaigns, mechanics, combat system, gameplay, co-op modes, and Mercenaries mode are great. The problem is, this game shifted away from its survival horror roots to become more of an action game, which is a big flaw. Another big flaw that is your stamina gets low quickly after pressing R2 to physically attack. A small flaw is that there's too much button mashing in this game. The transition from gameplay to cutscene can feel awkward. About the campaigns, Leon's campaign is the strongest, Chris and Jake's campaigns are decent, and Ada's campaign is the weakest. The story of the campaigns, split-screen mode and pacing are ok, but could be better. Overall, RE6 is a great and fun action co-op game, but a bad RE game.

EA Sports FC 267
Dec 7, 2025
EA Sports FC 26 on the PS4 is good. The graphics and soundtrack are great. The gameplay is decent, but could be better. The big flaw with other FIFA/FC games are the microtransactions, making FC 26 another basic pay-to-win game by EA. FC Points are slightly overpriced, The packs you buy in Ultimate Team are mostly scams and playing Squad Battles matches doesn't give you enough coins. About the offline modes, Player Career is the only offline mode that i could play for hours. The Manager Career is an forgettable mode. Overall, The PS4 version of FC 26 Is good enough for a casual football/soccer game that is fun to play.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled8
Dec 7, 2025
CTR Nitro-Fueled is one of the racing games i'll definitely recommend to a PS4 user. The controls, gameplay, visuals, character roster and tracks are great. There are some flaws like the CTR coin and Crystal challenges are not that easy. The microtransactions are a slight issue and you need to play atleast 5 Cup Races to buy one character to spend your Wumpa Coins on. But, the 2x Wumpa Coin weekend bonus really helps if you wanna save up for a character bundle. Another flaw is that the loading screen times are also very long. Despite those flaws, Nitro-Fueled is still a good racing game to this day. I recommend this if you want a slightly friendly, cartoony, fun racing game.

Jump Force5
Jul 1, 2025
Jump Force is one of those games that was extremely hyped, but turned out to be a failure. The game already died on launch and the online servers were shut down after 3 years of the game's release. The character creator and story are dull, the anime character designs look weird and long loading screen times. But, the gameplay is decent enough to make my review in the Mixed numbers. To win a match in any difficulty, you will need intense button mashing, which is a big flaw. The combat system is clunky and the animations are stiff. The super attacks look cool but will get repetitive over time, the roster is slightly large and that's about it. The game also lacks offline game modes, which is bad. Overall, Jump Force isn't a good fighting game, but not a bad game either.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 26
Sep 12, 2025
Playgrounds 2 is the most overlooked game in the NBA 2K franchise and there is some reasons why it should be overlooked, while there's also reasons why it shouldn't be. The starter packs you get as a new user are very underwhelming. Like WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the game's microtransactions is a big issue and requires a lot of grinding to get good packs and players. In the good side, The gameplay is smooth and has an arcade style to it. It's also easy to pick up and play. If you want a casual basketball game that you can play with friends, get this game.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds6
Dec 7, 2025
WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the most overlooked WWE 2K game, similar to NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. Battlegrounds is not the worst game in the WWE 2K franchise, but not the best. This game tried to be the next WWE All-Stars. The microtransactions are a very big issue and takes too long to grind to buy or unlock one unlockable wrestler. The only great things about this WWE game are the campaign mode and Royal Rumble mode. The roster is very small and limited before unlocking or buying any other wrestler. You need a LOT of button mashing to get out of a pin attempt or a submission attempt. The moves are cool but repetitive, the controls are decent enough and i like the cartoony look of the wrestlers. If you want a simple, casual and slightly fun wrestling game, i recommend this.
