Black Panther5

Fun story and Wakanda looks pretty spectacular... But... What in the world did the CG specialist think they were doing?? Horrid sound mashing, inhuman CGI on the humans. Good but leave massive room for improvement

Spider-Man: Homecoming8
Feb 8, 2019
Fun and new. Spider-Man HC doesn't take itself too seriously while still presenting a very human teenage Peter Parker with a lot to gain and everything to lose. A close runner up to best Spider following the SR Trilogy

Avengers: Infinity War8
Feb 8, 2019
A great entry point to a massive shift in what we know. By the end you arent sure if you're left wanting more, or if you've had enough. Which is a very very good thing...

Captain America: Civil War9
Feb 8, 2019
Heartrenching, powerful and a great segway into what is to come. Enjoyable from start to finish and is a great showcase of the world Marvel has built

Iron Man 32
Feb 8, 2019
Marvel's first big miss... Tony is useless, Marvel ruined the manderin lore, the only excitement is Tony's controlled falling. Skip it because its ending legitimately taken back 2 minutes into the next chronological film.

Thor: Ragnarok4
Feb 8, 2019
How do you take the god of Thunder and make him absolutely intolerable? Make him a stumbling, bumbling, Clutz with 0 body awareness. This wouldnt have been as much of an issue if this was consistent with the rest of the Marvel Universe's Thor lore. Was this move funny? Yep. Was it a thrilling ride? Yep. Did I leave the theater wishing they had handled it EXTEMELY differently? Without. A. Doubt

Blade Runner 20498
Feb 8, 2019
Beautiful, dynamic in its storytelling and an absolute feast for the mind and they eyes. A positive expansion on the first film, this allows one to question android humanization through a much more current set of eyes

Blade Runner7
Feb 8, 2019
Clunky, uneven story telling leaves a lot to be desired, but Hauer and Ford's acting and the cyberpunk world created do this movie a ton of favors allowing it to take its place as a classic

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King10
Feb 8, 2019
A beautiful ending to a beautiful trilogy. The culmination of the battle of good vs. evil hits so close to home you can feel it in your bones. These movies represent the gold standard for story telling, book interpretation and overall theatrical development for the foreseeable future. A++++++++

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers10
Feb 8, 2019
A beautiful continuation of the middle earth story. The acting is impeccable, the practical effects are intricate. One of the rare cases where the movie is better than the book.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring10
Feb 8, 2019
This is the fantasy movie to end all fantasy movies. It ages like a fine wine, is endlessly fun, heartfelt, adventurous and whimsical. The creme of the crop for all cinema.

Glass7
Feb 8, 2019
This movie is legitimately a 8.5-9.0 until the last 20-30 minutes of the movie. This makes the outcome even more disappointing. M. Night does what he does best and overplays his hand with an awful twist and no grounding to be seen.

Split9
Feb 8, 2019
The fact that James McAvoy wasnt nominated for an Oscar for this performance is exactly why you can take the academy's word for anything. Great acting, good plot and an amazing twist

M. Knight at his best. The twist is subtle and the story leaves a great taste i your mouth by the end.
