Mafia has a high peak but a peak that isn't reached often or for long. The story starts mediocre and continues to be the same until roughly halfway through when the pace is picked up and the stakes/tension rises. The driving is fine, the shooting is fine, and the game crashed as I was finishing the few side quests that the game has to offer so I lost all my progress. Mafia only crashed once for me but there were multiple glitches and several instances of frame rate issues.

Superliminal is a really fun game with challenging puzzles that make you feel like a genius for completing them. The Story can veer into existential crisis mode in a way that doesn't always feel sincere but it's good enough to keep the game from getting stale as purely a puzzle game. The game on the Xbox One doesn't run very well and even then I'm honestly surprised it runs as well as it does. Many things going on here are things I didn't ever think would be possible at all in this console generation but here we are. There is so much going on here that you really should get a next-gen console or high-end pc to play this on as there are frequent frame rate drops giving you headaches and loading screens that last so long they burn into your tv. Wait until you have a better way to play this before trying it on the Xbox One, but if that's not possible then for you then I'd say to give this a shot anyway.

There is no defending this game. The animations are terrible. The AI is incompetent. The physics engine feels similar to a Unity game. The artwork is outshone by the predecessor that was made 17 years ago. This game feels completely unfinished: The Sound's don't line up correctly, the tutorial prompts don't have keybindings assigned, there are missing models and textured seen throughout. The Level Design is the only redeeming factor and that's just because they lifted it from the original game. This isn't coming from a fan of the original, I never had the chance to play it, but I can't even begin to imagine how disappointed the fans are to see a game they love be mutilated like this. I can't believe I spent £35 on this atrocity. Do not buy this game.

There's no other way to say it, this game is perfect. The number of expansive features in this seemingly simple game never fails to take my breath away.

This game is like the part in Groundhog Day when Bill Murray is just killing himself over and over.
