An excellent immersive psychedelic trip with great cinematography and choices of filmmaking that makes the movie unique. It has two little problems, the acting **** at some minor parts and there were things that could be presented in a more subtle way like the whole concept of it. Other than that this movie fantastic and it is also one of the weirdest ones i have ever seen, i highly recommend it!

This is Christopher Nolan's masterpiece. Is the only one of his films that it is completely brilliant, it doesn't treat you like you are five years old by explaining the movie's world in an sloppy way with side-characters like Inception does. The writing is brilliant, every decision that was made had an amazing purpose and fit the movie in an intelligent way. It is a very original thriller with personality, it is its own movie; there will not be a movie like this. The issues i had were extremely minor and nit-picky, so for now this movie is a 9 or maybe a 10 If it grows on me. I will let time change my opinion, because this movie is excellent!

I personally consider this film better than There Will Be Blood. The decisions of filmmaking were extremely original and with purpose, the performances are perfect, the directing is top notch, the story is intriguing, complex and engaging. I am not even sure If i got the whole thing! But the things that i got made me love this movie. The use of music is perfect to set out the tone and the characters are very interesting and well written. Paul Thomas Anderson again brings us a masterful film that is misunderstanded now.

A subtle masterpiece with incredible directing, themes, script, and acting. Michael Haneke it is one of the most flawless directors. He presented everything in a thought-provoking, unforgettable, relatable and subtle way that it was just impossible for me to not give credit to it. I am just giving it a nine because i had just one subjective issue, in some elements of the movie, i wanted them to be a little less subtle and more notable. But apart from that this movie is amazing, and i don't understand why a lot of user reviews were saying it was boring; maybe it wasn't the most entertaining movie ever but it is really entertaining and mesmerizing. I highly recommend it!

This movie can be an accomplishment, but one that proves Tarantino's immaturity. It is by far a lot of style without substance, i really didn't like it. I am just giving a 5 because it has good aspects like the acting, script (wasn't as great as Inglorious Basterds and Pulp Fiction), and some directing. But overall it was a dull, uninspiring, immature, and dislikable movie that was abusing about its own premise.

Oh god! This movie is a giant piece of s**t. Out of the three Hobbit movies this is by far the most awkward, poorly-written, inconsistent, ridiculous, unbearable, and boring of these. Every scene, dialogue and plot devices felt like i was watching Peter Jackson screaming that he needs money. It was made in such an uninspiring and sloppy way that made it hilarious and at the same time obnoxious. The Hobbit franchise is a giant failure, and this one is the worst of them.

A great and intense character study of two overly ambitious musicians. Damien Chazelle wrote the characters in an amazing way that makes you understand every aspect of them. The only issue i had was that the secondary characters were underdeveloped and were a little unnecessary to the elements of the story. But apart from that amazing movie! I can recommend this one to everyone, is a movie for all audiences!

A good blockbuster with good actions scenes, funny moments, and surprisingly some interesting characters. Maybe there are a lot of inconsistencies, plot conveniences and dull moments, but i cannot deny that it wasn't a very entertaining and funny experience with some original stuff. I recommend it If you want to have fun!

Good movie with some interesting aspects that makes you think about them, but the movie is not as intelligent as everyone thinks it is. With some inconsistent elements that doesn't respect some of it's rules, the movie's world falls apart sometimes. The script could have been better, there were parts of the film were some sub-plots didn't make sense (like the murderer of Cobb's wife), and at the time the characters were explaining the dream world, they sounded like they were speaking to the audience. But overall, great movie that could have been better If it wasn't a little pretentious. Even with some issues i had with the movie, i admire the effort that was put on it, Christopher Nolan is a talented director. I recommend this film.

As a movie i enjoy it, but as a Richard Linklater movie it was really disappointing and i think it doesn't live up for the praise the critics has given to it (although i think they were paid off). I still thought it was a good movie that require some effort and i appreciate that. I like it as a journey of growing up with some relatable things and nostalgic events, but other than that it was EXTREMELY FLAWED. A lot of things that happened through the first half and second half were really underdeveloped and If you think about it, it doesn't make sense and you end up seeing it as a mess. The screenplay was good but some parts of it were really forced and written in a poor and unfocused way just to give sense to the scenes. I was expecting the script to be as amazing as the one in the "Before trilogy" (directed by Linklater), but it wasn't that good. If the screenplay was like "Before Sunset" the movie would be an epic masterpiece, but sadly it wasn't. It is really sad, because in both movies (Boyhood and Before Sunset) there is a huge dependence on the script and that's because it doesn't happen that much on the story of both films. Before Sunset worked really great but Boyhood not so much. I was entertained by it and it's concept was interesting, but it is difficult for me to see it as one of the best movies of 2014.

One of the greatest cinematic achievements ever, this is a film that i can consider a modern-day masterpiece, without doubt, the best of 2014 in my opinion. To describe how perfect the movie is i have to describe the whole movie. The directing is amazingly stunning, the performances are dazzling and every actor felt natural, the screenplay is brilliant treating with a lot of themes without being a mess, the characters are extremely well written and very developed, the cinematography is ground-breaking and the story is something that has been done but it was made in the most original and fantastic way. It was a mesmerizing movie from start to finish, everything felt so honest and natural, it was a relief to see something so original and different but with a purpose, and it is one of the best movies i have ever seen. This film is Iñárritu's black sheep. A film that it is misunderstood by a lot of people because of it's controversies but i can assure that it is something that is going to remembered and discussed for years.

As a Bennett Miller fan i was expecting this movie to be as brilliant as "Capote" or as great as "Moneyball", but it was pretty disappointing. I do have to admit that at some parts it was mesmerizing, entertaining, well-shot and exceptionally developed at some aspects, but it was just so stressful to watch. Through the movie a lot of scenes and development from the context and characters were unnecessary and redundant that it left you expecting something to happen and when something actually happened you ended up not giving a s*** about the events. I don't see it as a bad movie, i really appreciate a lot of aspects presented on the film and it didn't felt like an "oscar bait" movie (that's a good thing), but it was just a little boring and had a lot of redundant and unnecessary presentation.

Just another overrated cliché fest with terrible dialogue and mindless special effects from Marvel. The movie is the best definition of "mediocre" i could ever give, from other reviews i have read, they were saying that it was an unpredictable dark "masterpiece". But it was the complete opposite. It was really annoying how i could predict everything that was happening through the movie, it was painful to see a lot of incoherence in the events, and it was also annoying that lazy writers were just giving to the plot structure conveniences to the events. I really dislike when the laws of physics don't apply to Marvel productions and even worse when they are in favor with the protagonist, just for the plot device to work. It has an awful script, it has a mediocre directing, it has okay performances and it has a really pretentious and dull story without knowing itself to be taken serious or not. Come and hate me Marvel fanboys! Because this is the most overrated movie of 2014!

The movie was alright, the performances were good, the directing was solid and the screenplay was alright, just as the movie. When a movie depends too much on the script, you have to make it great in order to make a great production (a great example on a movie that depends on the screenplay and does it fantastic is "Before Sunset"). Sometimes when the characters were expressing their feelings i really saw them forced, and predictable and as a thing that plays an important role (script) it was supposed to make me understand the characters and their motives and it failed at that. The character development was fine, but i really didn't felt that they were that interesting as they try to make them look like, because of that i really got bored at some parts, but that doesn't mean i didn't enjoy it. I did but i think this movie is a little overrated

A film that studies life and it's meaning with surreal themes and imagery. A film that speaks poetry in the most depressing and honest way. A film that makes you think about your choices, your way of thinking, your transcendence, and the pretencions of your way of acting in society. It is a beautiful piece of art that speaks about what art is in the best way a film could do. It is for sure one of the best movies I've seen and one i will never forget.

Another great movie from Alexander Payne portraying the American stereotype with a heart-warming, funny and intelligently written way. Another thing that was fantastic, was the cinematography, it was a real surprise. When a director like Alexander Payne manages to make a simple story really great, clearly he is a very talented one

This movie is not for everyone, just for people interested on philosophy or the existence. The performances are dazzling, Jodie Foster is a very talented actress, also the screenplay made by one of the best astronomers in the world, Carl Sagan.
