I absolutely love it, it definitely gave me the Animal Crossing feeling. It is possible to compare to Mario Party, because the concept is kind of the same. However the Mario games and Animal Crossing are different in itself, which is why Amiibo Festival is different as well. While you need at least one amiibo to start the game, and you can get two in a bundle, you don't need more to play it multiplayer. You get to pick a villager to play with. I have yet to try the minigames, but those do look adorable. If you want to actively do things, the board game is probably not really something for you. However this game is nice, relaxing and soothes my heart and soul whenever playing it, because that's what Animal Crossing usually does for me. It's a feel good game.
