This game was fun. There's a lot to this game and story. Vibrant, brutal and psychological. Something that has always been prevalent in Far Cry, but its in a setting with a place and group of people I can relate to. So my ratings for it is simple. 10/10 CULL THE HERD.

Contrary to tomvs123, I do not see it like that. Atelier Lydie and Sue is an incredible experience, with phenomenal OST music, great setpieces and arguably one of the best alchemy systems in the series. It tackled many themes. Loss, how to cope with it, as well as other aspects. So yeah no, its a great game and doesn't insult one's intelligence. This game is easily one of the better games out there. Get this one over the Ryza duology.

The biggest disappointment of the Mysterious Trilogy. It has lovable characters, but their setpieces aren't on the same levels as Sophie or Lydie/Sue. A poor implementation of the time limit (so easy that I had over 50 days left) and its battle mechanics are poor.

Hands down, one of the greatest Atelier games. Atelier Sophie is a whimsical adventure with the ultimate embodiment of adorableness known as Sophie Neuenmuller and an equally lovable cast. It highlights concepts like the power of community. It legit irks me that Ryza has a higher score than Sophie. I mean, ffs Lilea Xea is a god tier song that to this day, cannot be matched. Get. This. Ok, first of all, the idea that people think Ryza is better than Sophie or Lydie/Sue is legit smoking something. Don't get me wrong. Atelier Ryza 2 is...decent. Yet when the story chokes on the last act, because all we got was repeating lines and storybeats from earlier in the game, I can't help but feel that it is overrated. Imo I'm being generous with that seven, because I could have gone with a five. It still has no decent OST music, it is STILL a garbage ARPG and nothing about the items or combat have improved either. Also, I noticed things like rain texturing and other minor details that add up with its visual presentation. I'm glad Atelier Mysterious DX is out. It means I can wash the stench of mediocrity from both Ryza games.

Possibly the very game slated to be greater than VII. A hot take, I know. Neptunia Virtual Stars has a lot to offer and my only real complaint that isn't a nitpick is the lack of boss-specific themes. This game goes back to all the things great about Neptunia. Yet surprise, surprise, critics give it a similar rating to the equally underrated, Original Neptunia game. I'm starting to think verified critics shouldn't review Neptunia games. 10/10, best Neptunia game hands down.

I hate to give this game such a low score. I love Compile Heart games AND Date A Live. That being said, this game is a massive disappointment. -Horrible Pacing. I.E. too many endings -The appeal of a lot of the games is route based only and the narrative suffers -The OST is either disappointing, obnoxious or just irrelevant to the story. Rinne Utopia: 4/10 Arusu Install: 2/10 Rio Reincarnation itself: 0/10 Overall: 1/10 Rinne Utopia is the best written out of the three. With a character we can love, empathize with and feel sad over. Problem is, we take so much to get through it all. Pacing is the death of Date A Live. Arusu Install deserves the "Hey, You Tried!" award. They tried some interesting concepts, such as Maria and what truly defines a human being (philosophically speaking, not literally). Rio Reincarnation is just member berry fan service. Anywho, skip this game, watch the Date A Live anime series, or if you're feeling frisky, read the LNs.

I never knew I wanted this so badly. It ain't **** if its the Colonel right? I'd totally eat the five dollar fill up with the many herbs and spices. This game is good due to it being an absolute trainwreck. A good kind though. Think of the best, most fun party you've been to, multiply that by a thousand, then send it to school and you've got Colonel Sanders. Its an Otome themed visual novel where you romance either the Colonel or a couple of other routes. Even if for the lulz, GET THIS GAME! IT IS FREE!

It also has some of the best screenshottable quotes ever. Not to mention the game is pretty fun. DO NOT FIGHT DELPHINUS UNTIL YOU ARE READY! Awful, AWFUL game! The most INSUFFERABLE version of the main cast, the most AGGRAVATING NPCs and both were so bad that I was rooting for the villains. Which, it is fine to make villains seem a bit sympathetic, but not at Gehaburn point where I hate everything else around it. The OST strangely bleeds into each other. The mechanics are glitchy and awful to the point where I think Tamsoft employees need a different career path. The ONLY thing likable about this game are the character designs, the crossovers from SAO and the level design. Other than that, garbage game!

Hmm. There's a lot to like and a lot not to like: Likes: The revamped revisit to Mk2's system The awesome post story boss battles. The visual revamps The game feels like a high framerate game New OSTs specifically for VIIR No Like: Lack of DLC characters. I liked what I got with Milli, Nitro and God Eater. A shame no character DLCs are around. The weeb room (I.E. the only time VR is actually used) The lack of thrilling boss fights in VR (again, only the dumb weeb room where you meet the goddesses) A game with massive positives, but pretty damning negatives to me. O_OLokiO_O, you're wrong. This game is a travesty against storytelling. An overbloated, disgusting mess. It deserves any hate it gets because it is the worst aspects of Neptunia, sans Megatagmension. I don't hate yuri or happiness. I hate garbage series with egregiously bad humor, superfluous storytelling that makes me want to fall asleep. Plutia and Rei are the worst forms of storytelling and its mechanics are PURELY COSMETIC. I don't hate comedy, or anything of the sort. I just have enough self respect not to laugh at "He reaped and sowed his own seed" and "Neppy-chan, can we milk you?" because neither of them are funny. I liked the original Nep game. it was a GOOD combo of silly, cute, happy and yet also good, serious drama. Get outta there with that rookie bull!

First off. to jaymz1970 You're wrong. PP was one of the best Nep games. Next, this is just CTRL C+CTRL V of both mechanics and story from Mk2. Only, more boring. Then there's the WORST ending in Neptunia. The holy sword ending. Kill it with fire! Even with all that though, it takes nearly the 2nd best story of the OG trilogy, so it will always have an advantage over Re;Birth 1 and 3. Conquest Ending is BAE, as usual.

Hate to do this to the game that got me into this series, but after completing my journey, it is painfully transparent as to how bad this game's mechanics are. They are designed to hold your hand and make it too easy. Plain and simple. Even worse, if you start by platinuming Re;Birth1 and THEN the original, you'll realize two things: The original has a better story and they have a better OST. You cannot understand the disheartening feeling when the game that got you into their franchise, was actually a painstakingly hollow and shallow remake that guts out the good story bits and keeps in the juvenile bits. The awful parts. It actually somewhat changes the original story too. Nope, this is sadly no longer a game I'd recommend.

The thing is, I wanted to give this game a 10/10. There are only two gamebreaking issues. A)The model resolution was crap and the usage of 3D models in my opinion are ill-advised. When they used 2D sprites in the same game, it was far better. Another question: Why bother having two separate styles here? Do you want to go with 2D or 3D? This whole issue does not add to anything. B)Tonal clash. This game has a hard time figuring out what it wants to be. Part of the time, it is this super grimdark story, with endings like the True and Conquest Endings. The latter being the best ending, don't @ me. Part of the time, it wants to be a generic, shoujo ai moe blob. The worst, is when it wants to preach to us "the ills of piracy" when no regular person CARES. The way it was handled was sloppy. That being said, it had a lot of wonderful things. Great soundtrack Great story The Conquest Ending and subsequently Nepgear's character growth Lots and lots of shoujo ai. More please. The AP/SP system In all honesty though, this was a downgrade in comparison for the original.

Kill it with fire, before it breeds! God this was the most AWFUL of experiences. I am a massive connoisseur of Compile Heart games. I'm basically their best completionist! But let me tell you, this game angers me on so many levels, that I just want to smash my PS4 Pro to pieces. New Game+ does not transfer stats, skills, or even all of your DLC. Boring and/or obnoxious characters. Amal Franson. If you thought Amal was a dude, you're either dumb, not familiar with the medium and what a "trap" is, or just don't care and love the smell of your own virtue signaling. The issue is not with identity, but trying to force us to adhere to the idea that Amal is anythng but a tomboy. Even more highlighted by her alternate personality. More of that soon. Coo Franson makes me want to figuratively off myself Higurashi style. Or preferably, angrily bash my head into a pillow and scream. Holy christ this broad is a B****! Every character is obnoxious in some fashion. The game's story is both the most boring and unoriginal pieces of trash ever conceived. The game's reused assets include things like Record of Agarest 2's level effects and steals Omega Quintet's mechanics system. As usual, the moment you have the opportunity to explore, everything sinks down to 240p resolution. I really want to like their content, but they make it incredibly difficult to even try it. The only remotely good thing about this game was the ending credits. Yeah this game's crap. 0/10

There's so much depth in this game, that the task to play it through the True Ending, is flat out daunting. If you are willing and interested to check out a game rich with depth, story and character development, this is the game for you. A TBSJRPG like this is flat out fun when you get used to the mechanics. It does have its dull moments (See Generation 2) but it also can be absolutely hilarious (See Generations 3 and 4) and it does well to create tension and high stakes (See Generations 1,4, 3 and 5). The thing that's most daunting, is the True Ending. Even further, to 100% the game, you need to play hard mode. Which will be difficult with DLC, nearly impossible w/o it. There's a lot of hoops you must go through to get the full experience, but there's something terrifyingly cathartic about defeating Lvl. 999 Chaos. I enjoyed it and I think you might at least have an appreciation for it. Even if it is not your thing.

The people who think this game is bad, needs to be checked into a mental ward. They would be incredibly insane to rate this game so low. Distinct, diverse maps. Good songs. Albeit because of sound direction, I had to rate it a 9. It needed to be placed better. It also has a bad habit of reusing Record of Agarest War assets. The forests, the noble bedrooms and the list goes on. Go and compare Record of Agarest War and Agarest Zero and compare it to Neptunia. You'd be surprised with that one. Even further, you can incorporate saved images on your HDD and use them as weapons. I will also counter claim the complaints of the healing system. It is my favorite mechanic, because you can change it in mid-battle. Giving a tactical feel. It helped me beat Final True Arfoire. There's also so much depth here in this anime game, that it even makes Vert tolerable and this game massively splits from Re;Birth 1's story. There's entire cutscenes gutted from this game, in Re;Birth 1. You have to be mentally daft to rip on this game. Or a hater. Or a pleb who barely plays the game to begin with. In the end, this is actually one of the better titles and I suggest you pick it up for that old school feel.

DMC 5 was well worth the wait. The insane amount of combo impossibilities, the Devil Breakers instead of the Devil Buster was a welcome surprise and change and so was V. Capcom was even mentally insane and genius enough to do dynamic rankings for music. It does run the risk of a story retread, but the way it pays off is downright cathartic, storywise. It has one of the most brilliant OSTs to date and quite frankly there's so much replay value that you could play this game forever. A wonderful game.

Despites its heavy themes, or perhaps because of them, Doki Doki Literature Club is easily one of the MOST UNDERRATED games of 2017. I'm not gonna lie, I've been saying it for a long time, but I'll say it again. Doki Doki Literature Club, in my view, wins Game of the Year, 2017. There's a reason why I call it the "Uncrowned King of 2017". I think that no matter who covers this game, doesn't do the right amount of justice for the game. Nor do they highlight or even UNDERSCORE the wonderful fan community BUILT upon and underneath this game's banner. Direction: Everything I've seen out of Dan Salvato is a sheer MASTERCLASS. 10/10 S Rank Sound: Poignant, effective and downright spine chilling at times. 10/10 S Rank Writing: With such masterful deconstruction, I can't help but Max Rate It. 10/10 S Rank Design: Whether it is overall game design, or the cute designs of characters, which make a stark and haunting contrast, it is flatout impeccable. I'm not going to be claiming any technical mumbo jumbo, but being a director of sorts, I can see how well the design executes the intent. 10/10 an S Rank. Overall Rating: This should be rather obvious. 10/10 S Rank. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a valuable game to spend your time on. It may not be the best for those technically inclined for computer tech, because I'm not entirely sure about it, but from a casual perspective in this game, which is where I stand, I absolutely love and adore this game, and I've made some good friends and met some wonderful YouTubers through this awesome game.
