Thunder Road8
May 25, 2019
'Thunder Road' is so far one of my favorite films this year and I've watched movies like Avengers Endgame and yet I prefer watching Thunder Road again then Endgame. Jim Cummings gave a very emotional performance to his character of an Officer who has been through a lot. Everyone gave out a great performance, especially the child actor. It's something that most low budget movies couldn't even do, including again a child actor. Speaking of low budget, I was surprised of the cinematography, It didn't feel at all cheap to look at. The camera rarely moved so it gives out this smooth camera work when something is moving. This movie doesn't feel at all cheap. This can be compared to movies like Primer or Reservoir Dogs. The story keeps the viewer intact through the movie, the characters are interesting to watch and Overall, this is really a fantastic movie if alone for the music. The music is nothing really special but when everything in the movie from cinematography to the acting incredible, the music just felt out of place. However, I highly recommend this film to everyone if you love to be sad

Avengers: Endgame8
Apr 27, 2019
Don't let that 8 scare you, Avengers: Endgame is by far the most ambitious film of all time and a very important film as no other films cannot create such a big franchise. Endgame is funny, depressing, satisfying and very enjoyable and everyone gave their all (for one) in this film as some actor/actress will probably never return for the MCU after this film. There were a lot of easter eggs from this movie which links to the other films in this universal which was awesome to hear especially at the end. Everyone has a good reason why they make these decisions and doesn't leave the viewer confused. Overall, the action scenes were satisfying and awesome, the ending was a great conclusion to this movie and just in general, this was (almost) the perfect marvel movie and it's definitely worth your 3 hours of life The reason I said almost is because of these reasons:
1. Captain Marvel was barely in the movie, they made an entire movie about her and yet you didn't really need to watch it for Endgame as she's rarely in it and she was in the climax of the movie. Plus Brie Larson was horrible in this film and I know that she is a fantastic actress which disappoints me even further
2. The movie is funny. Maybe too funny. There are so many emotional scenes in this film but then they quack a few jokes in there which sure they're funny but it destroys the flow of some tear-jerker moments
3. Speaking of the flow, when they finish a dark, miserable scene, they immediately go to a bright, happy scene which just confuses me. Why could they just slowly tune down the darker scene and slowly build up into a relatively happy scene? However, with all the negatives, I will probably rewatch this movie again

Happy Death Day 2U5
Feb 26, 2019
It's a meh for me. I thought it was slightly better than the original and I thought the humor was pretty decent. I think they are trying to make this as more of a comedy than a horror movie which I think they did pretty well. However, it somehow turns into this sci-fi film which it could have been done well but it doesn't really make sense. I thought the acting and script were decent enough and it's just your average horror movie however it doesn't really scare me a lot of times. Otherwise, a decent sequel which carries out the problems that the original had but at least this movie was more enjoyable and slightly entertaining than the first.

Three things Funny, Bad, Funny again It's one of those movies which is so bad it's good. It has a poor script which makes it hard to believe these characters. Performances from Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway feel very cartoonish and this is very disappointing because I loved Matthew for Dallas Buyers Club which he did won an Oscar. This is the worst movie that Matthew and Anne had ever had in their career. However, I'm going to say that this is really funny because of the performance and script. Too many cliches, Cinematography is average at best and the plot twist didn't really shock me as much. Watch this film with your friends with a couple of beers and I would recommend it for so bad it's a good movie.

From the Director of one of my personal favorite movies of all time Children of Men because of it's an amazing concept, story, and of course, it's cinematography and everything is also in this movie, It talks about a story of this maid and talks about her relationships around her. It's generally one of the best foreign films this year. Sound design is jaw-dropping from the music to the small sound effects. The world feels so real and lively and nobody is off and out of place. I love the black and white style filter, since taking place from 1970 to 1971. It makes feel like I'm there. Every actor and actress even the kids were fantastic, maybe because of the script (It's generally very real like actual people would say). Please watch this film. It's one of the best Netflix movie I have seen before which is rare to come across. Thank you Alfonso Cuarón for writing and directing this masterpiece.
