This game is just perfect. Love the world, the characters, the whole story and the combat is really fun and enaging. I just finished it for the first time and all I can thinkis just starting a new game and take it a bit slower, explore and do everything that I did not get to do the first time because I was rushing it, trying to get to the finish and see what is going on in this world. The combat is great and each character has a completely different style. The combinations of skills, combos and setups is for all intents and purposes endless. Best turn based game, so far. Persona and Metaphor games are good, but this one is quite a few steps forward.

Solid 9 for the gameplay and combat, 6 or below for the rest of the game. The main problem with the game, and most Xenoblade Chronicles games is that the story starts awfully slow and it's by far the most boring story from all the other XC games that I have played. I tried to play it about 5 times and evey time I would stop playing because the story was so bland and I did not feel at all for most of the characters. By the end of the game I started caring more about some of the caracters that were boring at first and the characters that seemed interesting had a very boring and stupid ending imo. What makes it even worse is the main villains of the story, they are so bland and uninteresting that I had more fun killing random monsters on the map. The personality of most of the characters seems to be based on someone close to them dieing and that's their whole personality. "Someone one I cared about died and now I feel sorrow". When I started playing XC3 i had just finished XC2 and that game was a rollercoaster from start to finish. What saves the game is the combat. The gem system is plain stupid. There are thousands of materialsthat you find everywhere and that are needed to craft stuff but there is no way to tell where to get them from. By the end og the game I had some gems at level 8 or above and some at level 2 because I crafted them with nopon coins, not because the materials dropped. It should have had some way of tracking where to find different materials. I wasted over a million coins at the fabricators and farming different bosses around the maps and the materials still did not drop. Where you do get materials to craft the gems is farming various bosses after you finished the game which is lame imo. Yous should not have to wait for 100+ hours to be able to fully enjoy the game. Future redeemed had indeed redeemed this game. Fun story from the first few minutes, fun characters that you feel for right from the start and makes me want to help them on their journey. They managed to create a fun combat system that does not get boring but the rest of the game seems to me not up to par with the rest of the games in the series. The ending did not make any sense at all to me. If you really want to make excuses for a mediocre story you can, but if you look at it for what it is, you will see that this is not even close to the rest of the stories in the series and the ending is disappointing, to say the least.

I gave XC3, main story and game an 8, because even if it is a good game, it has a lot of things missing and I did not get engaged with the story or most of the characters. But Future Redeemed caught my attention from the first minutes. The story is way more interesting and even the small adjustments to affinity and gameplay are awesome. It's what the main game should have been. 10/10 no questions asked

10*/10 by far. This game is just perfect. If anyone has doubt about this I urge them to play the game. My review doesn't have anything to do with "the state of the gaming industry" or other nonsense like that. This game is just good regardless of the comparison with other games. Divinity: Original sin was good but the first act was really annoying and way too puzzle-ish for my taste. Divinity: Original sin II, first act was a bit too hard but the game became more balanced after you gained a few levels. I think this was made so you really feel that you are in a bad situation and it's not easy to get out of it. Baldur's Gate 3 is perfectly balanced on all difficulty levels from the start and the game is really fun from the first scene. The story is crazy and the game is just awesome, the replayability of it is insane. It's easy to just lose hundreds of hours into it and not feel the passing of time at all. The game also makes you second guess every dialog and decision that you make. I love it.

The game is fun to play for a bit but when you get to the end game it is awful. CONS: Farming renoun, having to do the side quests and having to repick the way points again is stupid. On-death effects are stupid. Resistances don't work. A lot of mechanics that are frustrating, not fun to play and unfair. You can't scroll and you only see 5m around your character. I've died so many times from attacks that start offscreen that I can't even remember. Being killed by an attack that is off-screen is not fun at all. Stash is limited to a few items and gets cluttered by gems and seasonal items. The game could be a lot better and most of the stuff wrong with the game is easy to fix but they don't even try to mime that they are trying to fix it. (This is not really true, they seem to be trying to fix it, hopefully they will do it and I can enjoy the game better) I've got my money's worth out of the game at about 50h played, fun enough in the beginning but everything goes to hell really fast after lvl 70-80 and becomes boring as hell and the problems with the game are ever more frustrating and not fun. I play games to have fun and frustration is not fun. I've wasted about 15h now just to farm renown. I would actually prefer to have to do the campain again and the reward should be 100% renown by the end of the campain. This should be a choice. Forcing yourself to do side quests just to farm renown is simply ****. I'm not sure who thought of this was a good idea but I pity the fool. Update: I've decided to update my review and give it a 6/10. The game can still be fun if you don't take it too seriously and I've already gotten the $ back from it. I've played it about 120h now and I've enjoyed it most of the time.

For me I think it's an average of a solid 8.5 but I will give it a 10 for the story and the characters. The combat is good, fluid, flashy and makes your character feel strong. It can be improved but it's good. The story is really good and I loved it. I will play this game again for sure.

I should start by saying that this is the first Monster Hunter Game for me. I just can't stop playing and thinking about the game !!! I didn't buy the game and would have never bought it myself, it was a present. The first 3-4 hours were really boring for me because I did not understand how to fight, what do the weapons do, how the monsters behave etc. It's incredible ho much grinding is in this game. I have played more than 60 hours in the last 2 weeks and I just love to hunt, gather stuff and grind in this game. There is nothing I hate more than grinding in most games but it's something very satisfying about the mechanics in Monster Hunter World. The weapons move and fight like in no other game. Holding the weapon in your hand feels like it actually has weight depending on the type of weapon and does what you would expect of that type of weapon. Many people say that the weapons are uncontrollable but I would say that it is only their lack of knowledge and skill that is uncontrollable. At first was having so much trouble controlling most of the weapons but then it clicked ! You start noticing what the monsters will do by the way they are moving, you learn their speed of attack, distance and you learn to time your attacks and movement. Dodging and then countering the monster's attack with an attack or series of attacks is just so satisfying. I started to play with a shield & sword until I learned how the fight goes and then tried all the other weapons. It is amazing how good some of the weapons feel in your hand. I never thought I would like this kind of game but it's truly awesome. It also has some problems too but for the most part the game is just awesome. I for instance would like to have motion controls/gyro aiming for the ranged weapons. I could understand why some people would not like the game but that is valid when speaking about every genre/game. Whatever it wants to achieve it does: hunt monsters and build equipment and your character in a very fun and satisfying way. Awesome job CAPCOM, you get a 10/10 from me !!! Totally worth the money especially since you can find it cheaper now than the release price. If I knew that the game would be so much fun I would have paid full price for sure.

I loved the game from the beginning to end. I really enjoyed most of the things that the game tried to do but then again, I started playing it at version 1.71 . I would still love to have motion(gyro) option for the bow tho. It's no excuse for games in this day and age not to have motion controls for things like archery. I understand why many do not like them but I've always used them on my Nintendo games/consoles and it feels like trying to split wood blindfolded. Just add an option for the likes of us that do like using gyroscope to make fine aiming adjustments while running and/or on moving targets. And sure, there can be many more adjustments made to make the game a lot better but what the developers did here is a jewel. You can just tell how this kind of games are completely lacking for some years now. I still play Mount and Blade to fill this medieval fighting need :) and there are so many of us that crave for a proper medieval RPG. KINGDOM COME: DELIVERANCE it the one that fills a lot of this need but it could be a lot better. Please don't stop adding content, fixes and DLCs to this game !

Any shooting/archery game will get from me 50% of the rating for lacking gyro aiming. The PS4 is with us since 2013, the controllers are awesome but nobody uses the gyro aiming. I just get frustrated for most of the game to try shoot something when it's so easy to add the damn gyro aiming and make it 10 times better with so little effort. When you get used to aiming close to properly the freaking game is over. It's a typical Far Cry game with most of the same Far Cry stuff in it. For the most part, as most of the other Far Cry games it's about an 8/10 but I can't stand the amount of laziness that goes into most recent games, including this one. I'll update my score when and if they ever patch the game with proper environment destruction and gyro aiming, but as it stands 4/10 => aka lame and lazy when talking about a game that can be easily made one of the very good games of this generation with jut a bit of love and care for the consumers.

Blood Ties ++. Some people say that it's not worth the extra content but I would disagree. If you like to play this type of game for hours it's just perfect. I love it, just a great and fun game. It would be a 9/10 but I'll just give it a 10 because of how much fun I have playing it. I usually measure the worth **** in game price / hours of fun and I'm currently below 10 cents / hour :)

No motion aiming with the bow ? What year is this, 2003 ? After playing everything in the last 2-3 years on Steam and Nintendo with motion aiming every game will have -5 score points from me for lacking it. The PS4 is out since 2013 and the controllers have this option, but nobody uses it. This game is about an 8/10 but get's a 3 from me because of lazy dev team. Motion aiming is so easy to add to any game that the only reason why it would not be added would be pure laziness and/or lack of respect for the fans.

Update Feb 2018: This is insane ! They just updated the game and it now has motion aiming and they fixed some more bugs. Who does that ? F**k you Bethesda ! We have expectations from the game developers. We expect them to have crazy loot boxes and glitches that make the games almost unplayable. You don't just fix the bugs and update the game with features that people ask for. Who do you think you are !? I had the game up on a shelf since I bought it and now, with this patch, I can finally play the game properly. I've been playing it for 2 days straight now. I can't tell you how fun this (simple) shooting/smashing game can be and to have this on a portable device is just perfect. Old review: First shooter game on Switch without gyro aiming. It think that for 60$ for an old game that you can get for 15$ on other platforms would pay more than enough for a small update to add this feature. This makes me shoot all over the place, waste ammo and levels take twice as much to clear. I have games on the DS that have gyro aiming, wth !? I got used to it using gyro on Steam controllers and all the other shooting games on the switch, it's just annoying for me to know that I could do way better with the gyro. I just can't seem to play the game for more than 20 min without getting angry. Bethesda, update the game and activate the freaking gyro. I play games to have fun, not to get angry. For me it's almost unplayable without the gyro. It might be a 10/10 game, but not on the switch, not without gyro. 30FPS is more than enough and It looks good.

I gave this game a 9 because of the controls. I would have loved to be able to control Samus with the directional pad. The thumb stick direction control will lead to a lot of frustrating moments until you get used to it. Other than that the game is exactly what I always wanted a Metroid game to be.
