This game is something entirely different. There are not many controls you have as a player but still it's amazing what can be done. Time and time again the developers surprised me. It's hard to explain why this game is so refreshing and satifying without giving any spoilers. So I guess you gotta play it yourself.

This game is so good, it is by itself reason enough to buy a PS2 again. The graphics were amazing for the time, the hidden areas kept people playing, the surroundings were creative, ... There is not much to dislike about this game.

Fantastic graphics, great sound, amazing strategic part, incredible gameplay, vast customization options, rewarding items. Easy to pick up, hard to master. This is simply one of the best games for the PS4.

It simply depends too much on luck. You could be the best strategian of the universe with a Harvard degree and an Einsteinian brain, you still lose if someone has more luck with the dice. And the gameplay? The CPU ****. Often, one of your players has the ball but the CPU sends five men to some other player for a "tackle". Easy TD. Or the fact that you have to wait for the CPU to move. Sometimes it lets the clock run down to zero before it moves all of its men. Means you have to wait four minutes for the computer. You can't even go away because you might miss your turn if the CPU is unexpectedly quick. This could be a good game. They just would have to work on some flaws and reduce the dice component.

Basically a sweet game, but: more than once my city was shrinking and I had no clue why. There are no advisors. Why? Why would a real mayor not have any advisors? Examples: - people are dying, no clue why. (the pollution panel helped in the end but it was too late) - corpses don't get picked up although there are dozens of cemetaries, crematories and money (I never figured that one out) - people are sick (no clue why) - Industry complains they don't have customers (how do I get those? Building new apartments close to it did not work) - shops need "raw materials" (a tech shop - what would it need? The game doesn't tell you) So, the game is fun but as soon as there is a problem, you are dead. Civilization has advisors, Sim City has advisors, why not this game?

I "only" give it eight points and here's why: 1. The tutorial is crazy long. Imo It should be: "Here's the guns, there is the exit. Now go and try your best. If any questions pop up, press X for help." 2. It's unnecessary cruel. From innocent kids being shot to our hero-friends shooting someone in the head who regrets a mistake he has done in the past. Close-up, of course. You have to be sadistic to like that sort of thing. The only thing missing was a white floor so you can watch the bloodpool widen. 3. The tube you move in for the story. (like "Uncharted"). If you like "tube"-games, you will love this. If you would rather move around and be creative, this story will bore you, just like it bored me. Apart from that: nice graphics, good gameplay. The core game is not bad at all.

A fun game although I find it hard to optimize the team using the huge array of (funny) bonus items. And I never found out how the game determines if the CPU batter hits your pitch. Is it the placement? The speed? The diference in placement and speed compared to your previous pitch? And what is the number for? If it is a "good" pitch, is it harder to hit it? Or does it simply say you placed the ball where you wanted it? A short optional tutorial would help here. Because of that, only seven points. I like to know what I am doing and how it affects the opponent.

I love Tetris. Puyopuyo as a creative tetris-clone is ok but I still prefer the original. As to me, Tetris is more of a chill-game to relax, the difficulty here is quite hefty. You can change the difficulty but single player campaign still is far from easy. For those who seek a challenge, it's probably perfect. For my personal taste: still a nice game but too quickly way too difficult.

What changed since Madden16? Seriously, apart from the font in franchise mode, I can't see much. Yes, they put in some small changes, but what about the huge glitches? I could live without fancy background movements on the player trade screen. What I can't live with is this terribly annoying gameplay: players gliding out of a pile after being tackled e.g. Or the flying ball melting with fingers of defenders and then simply flying through them uneffected. The developers simply don't develop the game anymore. As a standalone, the game would be ok, I guess. But EA had decades to make it better and they simply refuse to do their job. Zero points.

Innovative game. Especially the sea fights are tons of fun. The atmosphere is awesome and missions hardly ever feel unfair or senseless. Except for a jungle scene at night where you have to know the surroundings by heart to stand a chance. But that's the absolute exception. Great graphics, fantastic gameplay. I loved it much more than its predecessors or sequels. I wish the developers had a little more courage and added some really new gameplay elements to the sequels. Up to now, they did't. So "Black Flag" stays the champion of the series.

Over the last five years, EA has not developed this game. I am being nice. The case could easily be made that EA has not developed the game since they bought the exclusive NFL license. That goes for every part of the game except for graphics. Naturally. But: 1. Comments are not only repetitive but quite a fair amount is still the same from five years ago. 2. Players still move like robots compared to what basketball videogames do. 3. New players look as computer-generated as 2015. 4. Gameplay is even worse than in 2016. In Madden 19, a linebacker can cover a wideout on a go-route. Backpedaling. And he even intercepts the pass. I wanted to know if it was a glitch. It wasn't. Nigel Bradham got the INT 5 out 5 times. I go back to Madden 16. Not a good, but at least a less annoying game.

There is hardly anything to dislike about this game. It's beautiful and endless fun to play. Especially in multiplayer sitting in front of the TV with a friend and both have these silly white steering wheels in their hands... To me, this is what videogames should be about: playing 1-2 hours together (even with a complete noob), have fun, then switching the console off and go do something else in the real world. These classic games give you that option. Try doing that with Assassins Creed Odyssey. Mario Kart is easy to pick up and hard to really master. This is the essence of videogaming.

It is actually a very fun game. Beautiful cars, clever opponents even in single player. What really bums me out though is the fact they were not able to bring in complete VR. I know that this is not the fault of the developer but simply a processor limit of the PS4. Still: this game's PC version is much better due to this omission and the PS4 game lacks VR. Trackmania Turbo (PS4) has it, why can't Project Cars2 put in some basic tracks, maybe only timetrial and get a piece of full VR in? Disappointing.

I loved Black Flag. The Open World was quite large but not frustratingly so, the combat was simple and precise, the missions mostly interesting, the sea warfare a great innovation. Unfortunately, Odyssey is way to big, fighting is more **** and chore than fun. There are no huge innovations either. To me, it's the same as origins: repetitive, huge and to some degree senseless since your actions do not change the way of history in any way.
