Madden NFL 19 is a sublime example of what can be achieved with a sports title. The Real Player Motions generates that feeling of not 'controlling' players, but rather living as the players instead. Seeing how lifelike all the players are within a match, and how they communicate with each other before and during plays, and then watching them seamlessly get into the next play, is freakishly uncanny.

For any NBA 2K fan, this game was pretty much the answer to NBA 2K18 (for all the wrong reasons!). Quite possibly the WORST Madden of all time.Tons of glitches, most of the time the game itself just unplayable, Longshot 2.0 was believe it or not a step down from the first Longshot back in Madden 18. Soundtrack was not good either, avoid this game like the plague!

Most importantly, Madden 19 has finally cracked that slightly repetitive feel that can make it tough to go on, game after game. With Real Player Motion delivering a fluid on-the-field experience, and Franchise mode customization offering another level of realism, Madden is in a great place.

Just ignore all of the bad reviews, if you're a die-hard Madden fan then you'll love this game! Each year Madden just gets better and better, though the music is a bit lackluster this year that doesn't take away from the exciting hard hitting action! Get in the game!!!

While the new foundational changes are awesome and it’s more fun than ever to play Madden, it almost feels like it isn’t enough in comparison. It especially stings that the Longshot sequel feels so unsure of itself, despite its high production values. It’s easy enough to recommend Madden 19 to sports fans, but if I’m trying to get someone new started, it feels like last year’s game is required reading to get the most out of this year’s entry.

Madden NFL 19 offers an accessible Ultimate Team mode, a welcome player progression change, and minor gameplay tweaks that make the game ever so slightly more realistic. Longshot: Homecoming, however, is an unmitigated disaster.

Madden 19 has the kind of defense that makes this game worth buying, and spectacular plays are more spectacular than ever. Uncomplimentary menus and peculiar gameplay simulations keep this year's Madden from being something profoundly special. Still, there's plenty here to feed the need for more football.

The attention paid to solo players in MUT and some Franchise improvements are certainly noticeable and deserve credit. However, when the game is littered with a multitude of glitches, a weak story mode and no other big notable changes, it makes Madden’s price tag more difficult to justify.

I’m absolutely in love with this game. Haters are already hating, but that always happens. The addition of the following positions with their own unique ratings has really improved the experience: power halfback, slot wide receiver, rush left end, rush right end, rush defensive tackle, sub package linebacker and one or two others that I can’t think of at the moment. The graphics and player animations are completely overhauled. Strategy is upgraded. If you like football, and you aren’t a negative Nancy, buy this game.

Probably the last game I'll purchase from EA Sports. It's like a web of advertisements to give them more money that it ruins the game. I like to play games to escape being hounded by money at every turn. Already paid ~$80 for the pre-release, and wish i could have it back. This business model is bad for games, and won't support it. On a happy note, it's fun to play against my friends.
