Gears of War 4

User ScoreMelgacius

Consider this a 6.5. My initial idea was to skip the review for this game, but when I noticed that most of the reviewers gave him great scores, I could not let it go. Gears of War 4 is far from being a masterpiece. Gears of War 4 is a third person shooter where you continue to use the usual cover mechanism in the vast majority of fights. This time there was a new producer behind the story, which makes everything more difficult, because it‘s not always easy to catch the momentum of previous productions. The secret was not to change much. Move on to the new generation of characters, keeping the previous ones on secondary roles. This has kept the plot secure, but often the story enters a swamp of poorly explained connections from where it takes time to leave, and most of those moments with no apparent purpose in the game. However, that did not ruin the gameplay. Graphically I’ve loved the game, which ran virtually flawlessly on my PC. I think it was for this reason that I’ve enjoyed it so much. So much detail everywhere, I really did not expect that. Especially the storms ... well, all-natural phenomena were very well characterized either graphically or in sound effects. And that’s how I introduce the sound quality of the game, which, given the quality of the characterization of storms, seemed exceptional to me. It is not so impressive inside buildings, but even there I cannot point out any glitches. Gameplaywise I’ve spent 10 hours in the campaign mode. Cover, shoot, advance, repeat. Completely on rails. This is the complete portrait of game mechanics here. It's always the same. We are stuck in an endless loop of always doing the samy same. Yes, the opponents pressure us more, they try to flank us, but in any time, I had the opportunity to use any type of tactics, I just used the corridor, advance, cover, shoot and that's it. It wears our soul out. There are moments of kinematics in which they show us great landscapes where the Swarm (name given to the new enemies that evolve from the Locust) is giant, so many enemies that we begin to salivate by anticipation, only to arrive at that place and to realize that it is almost empty, or only with a tiny amount of the enemies that we had seen previously. Doing some and no spoilers, near the final battle we saw a canyon packed full with enemies, only to arrive there and see a completely empty canyon. How much waste... There are parts in the game where we can put barricades and turrets to fight hordes, that's pretty cool, but then the fighting mechanics are the same as usual, so… New weapons have been introduced, all of them overpowered in every situation, however it is difficult to find ammunition for them, which causes us to do some inventory management, but given that the Lancer is enough to deal with any and every situation and it is relatively simple to find ammunition for it... well I do not need to say more. Enjoy the moments of pure fun that the new weapons will provide you, they are well worth it. There are collectibles to pick up, but I admit that although I’ve look for them, after I got them I’ve never looked at them again. The multiplayer mode is still very active on almost all modes, but as soon as I discovered the horde mode it was there that I spent all my time. Simply the funniest mode of this game, and alone more than enough to play the game. A team of 4 fighting 50 successive Swarm hordes, with the possibility of building barricades, turrets and other mechanisms to stun and kill enemies is super rewarding. I never reached the last level. I think the best I could do was get to 34, but always with a smile on my face. This was for me the replay value of the game, because in the campaign they will not catch me again! In a nutshell, did I have fun? Yes. To be honest, the game has this ability to let us grumble and move forward as if we were Mutley. It seems impossible, but while grunting I always wanted to play more and more, find out what was next. You can see that the game did not impress me much, but now that it is in the Game Pass, it's well worth playing.

A game to be loved or hated, even when I think the answer should be somewhere in the middle. Consider my 8 a 7,5. I have to say I've loved the game despite its faults. Let us talk a bit about some of those: - graphically it's not great. Not much polish. The game seems like an old photo everywhere. - bugs are quite overrated, and most of them are fixed. I've not got many of those and none even close to being game breaking. - some say that the gameplay is a bit repetitive, and I will not force a different opinion. This game got into me, despite mixing 3 genres that I do not like anymore: survival, zombies, RPG. The mix is something remarkable. The fun factor was huge for me. Watch some footage of the game, if you find that the game seems like fun, probably you will enjoy it.

Q.U.B.E. 2

User ScoreMelgacius
Jun 27, 2018
When a friend suggests us a game ofc we will going to test it, even more when he sharpens our curiosity with details about the game that leave us wondering if the game can be able to surprise us. Q.U.B.E. 2 takes on a difficult formula and comes out on top. The game does not disappoint. Q.U.B.E. 2 is an almost pure puzzle game where there are some platform components. Emilia wakes up lost and without memory in what seems some sort of alien ruins. With the help of Emma's communications she tries to find a way back to Earth. Soon she begins to receive communications from another entity, but we will not get into big spoilers, right? Graphically this game is very beautiful, even considering that 80% of the time is spent inside a giant cube, with cubic rooms and walls made of small cubes. Over time I began to consider that this might be related to the name of the game, but I still find that evidence inconclusive. At some point in time, the action starts to takes place in a more external environment and the characterization of a post-apocalyptic atmosphere is credible, without the traditional exaggerations of other games. The music and sound effects are well thought out, with the music being very relaxing, not providing distractions in a game where it's important to be focused on the details. The only problem I point out is that often the music runs over dialogues, which makes them difficult to understand if we do not have the subtitles turned on. The game itself made me immediately remember of Portal. Even with less than 30 seconds of game I was already saying that it was a blatant, all it was left to know was if it was good or bad. In the game we have a suit that gives us the ability to manipulate structures to perform different actions, and those actions allow us to solve puzzles to access new areas. In addition to the structures we can manipulate, new game mechanics are gradually introduced to complicate our thinking process. That introduction is gradual and we never feel overwhelmed with information. The puzzles are mostly easy with the exception of three or four, which seem randomly introduced and not associated with any difficulty curve. Those require much more attempts, including trial and error, to solve. The controls are not immaculate, I have been mistaken multiple times in the structure I wanted to manipulate and sometimes it was not easy to time the jumps, which lead me to think if I was solving the puzzle correctly or if there was something that I was not seeing. There was any moment of action or combat, which always gave me the feeling that I was solving puzzles only for the sake of solving them, there was no obvious notion of purpose in the game, which causes in the final stage of the about 6 hours that took me to finish the campaign, somewhat a feel of boredom and I just wanted to come to reach the end of it. This would be different if the story that the game gives us, the environment that the game tries to emulate to hinder a decision making really created some sort of doubt in our mind, but the choice that becomes obvious very early in the game is biased from the start. The game tries to create doubt in our heads, but in my opinion, soon we realize that we have to take a party in the future, and we also decided the side that we support rather quickly. In practice there is no antagonism in history, the information provided to us only confirms what we already know and what we will do when the time comes. I know it's not easy to do it properly, but if the story was balanced with this dyad, I might got more excited and want to know even more, but that was not the case. I think I've said enough to realize that the game has more than one ending, however I did not feel minimally motivated to repeat all the puzzles just to see all the endings, I simply went to Youtube and that's it. For me no replay value whatsoever. In a nutshell, Q.U.B.E. 2 is an excellent puzzle game. If you like this type of games, if you loved Portal this game is for you. Although it’s still a notch below it, with a story that could be more balanced, the final product remains a game well above the average that I have played. I’ve started and finished it in one go, I could not stop. We get the feeling that we're clever at solving all those puzzles and we do not want to stop. Try it. You will not regret.

Owlboy was released recently for XBox and PS4, which made me go search in my game library to see if I already own it. I found it and spent 10 hours delighted with the game. Simply gorgeous. I think the introduction says it all, but I suspect you're expecting to listen a few more lines. Owlboy has been in development for almost 10 years and went almost unnoticed when it was released on PC. It is a puzzle platformer in which we solve some relatively easy puzzles to advance. Otus, our main character, sees his land attacked by pirates and creates a group of friends, consisting of characters once devalued by their peers, to try to save their world. It has to be said that it is a very well written story, with well characterized characters, each one with its own history, more or less detailed to the point that we sincerely care about all of them. Even some of the side characters or villains are extremely well represented. It's a linear story, with a small twist at the end, but very well set and explained. My only problem with the story, and not wanting to spoil it, is the final battle. In addition some of the dialogues become rather extense, although I believe that little or nothing could be excluded from the final product. Graphically the game was a surprise. I expected a Shovel Knight-like artstyle but the way they used the pixelart in this game, combining it with high-resolution graphics, immense details on the movements and expressions. The construction of worlds and scenarios goes far beyond the games that try emulate retro games. For example Otus does not speak but the facial and body expressions details are more than enough to perceive all their emotions and we can even imagine a whole dialogue just with them. Recently I spoke about the attention given to detail in Sea of Thieves and Owlboy is another great example of how to build a world and how to use art to do something well made. The game soundtrack does not disappoint and remarkably follows the tone of each. When we are quietly exploring the world the music is calm and relaxing, and when we are in a fighting section or when we need to do fast movements the music becomes more intense and dynamic. I liked the sound effects for each one of the movements and actions of the characters and even the sounds for the dialog boxes, and although nothing is extraordinary, undoubtedly a competent job was made. How do you play this? I tried to play it as a twin stick shooter, but at one point I got tired of it because it's so much easier to simply use keyboard and mouse. There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the configuration of the controller, but when the game reached a difficulty spike, I did not have enough skill to overcome a boss or a more demanding section, so I choose for the easier solution... change the controller. In this game we control Otus which as a standalone character does very little. He flies, twirls, and spins. The secret and charm of the game is that he can pick up any of his three friends and take advantage of their different abilities to progress through levels or areas that we would not have access to without them. Although the amount of enemies is not great, combat rarely seems repetitive because the way they appear, leads us to use different techniques to overcome them in each of those moments. The puzzles are relatively simple and often obvious, which means that you have the feeling that boss battles have a remarkable difficulty spike and required me numerous attempts to outcome most of them. The fact that the controls were somewhat confusing, which made me do multiple mistakes also did not help. In sections where we have time to think there was no big problem other than the frequent annoyance of picking up the friend rather than picking up an item or picking the wrong character, but during quick sequences a mistake ruins everything and in those times it becomes frequent. There are lots of collectibles and hidden areas that reward both exploration and the repetition of some of the areas when we gain access to new characters. Defeating enemies in a certain way also gives you access to new items. In a nutshell the game is this. A lovely world with characters with whom we can easily create a relationship. Graphically it managed to impress me by the way they included so many detail in the pixel art. A very engaging story. A game and also an experience that I highly recommend. Now available on all platforms, if you have the opportunity to play it do not discard this game.

Coffee Crisis

User ScoreMelgacius

Something useful that this game gave me was the knowledge that there are still communities capable of launching games for SEGA Genesis in 2017, a console that I had long considered dead and buried. I would like to be more specific with the story, but I just know that there are aliens who want to steal our coffee and decent music. Beyond that, and with some humor added to the mix, everything is pure nonsense and with no apparent thread, that is, I did not notice anything of the thread of the story. The retro style of the game, with 16-bit artstyle was what caught my eye. It has no major bugs, quite the contrary, they even correct a lot of flaws that were common on consoles with the game running smoothly and without major glitches. The levels are decent, without major over the top scenarios and overall good enough for this kind of game. With metal soundtrack you have played it safe. Good music and good sound effects that remanence to old games. Nothing dazzling, but neither of those are the main focus of the game. It plays like an old game. For those who have played games like Double Dragon or Streets of Rage everything is quite familiar, however we cannot quite understand when we are hitting the opponent or not, and at the beginning this does not help. Worse than that the button to grab items also serves to grab people which leads to some errors that are comprehensible with controllers but not in the PC where we can rebind all keys. By the way, I played with controller and keyboard and mouse, I preferred the second option, it seemed simpler. There are few opponents, and frankly we are almost always beaten by the number of opponents and not by their skill. Interesting that some of the opponents are old men with stroller and cane. Now I think I've seen everything... It is a difficult game even and the frequent and sudden changes of artstyle makes it even harder, one of which almost makes it impossible to visualize the levels and opponents. I know that that was the point, but I personally did not like it. There are no saves, at the end of each level they give us a password that allows us to play again or start at that point. The game is extremely short, even for a 16-bit console, and the devs tried to get around this with some additions: * Local co-op that I could not test because I have no one to play with me. Online multiplayer would make more sense on PC; * Different levels of difficulty, where easy level is the usual normal in other games; * Connection to Mixer and Twitch with voting option for the introduction of perks that can make the game harder or easier when you are streaming it. I concede that this sounds like a lot of fun, but the game does not seem to have great potential for streamers, nor did I could capture it with my usual software to send it to Twitch. So the game seems short and with little practical replay value. It took me less than an hour to finish the campaign on the lowest difficulty level. Although not expensive, it seems like something is missing. There is nothing that really catches my eye beyond the artstyle. I had fun with this game but I have to admit that in a general way it is worth much more for the nostalgia than for what it actually offers.

My entire and proper review was way big to post here, but let me just leave the final part: And what was my conclusion? I reach a point of love-deception. If you notice I only had good things to talk about the game until I got to the gameplay itself. Until that point everything had impressed me, so it's safe to say that the skeleton, the core of the whole game is there and it's quality is superlative, but there's not enough content to hold this base. Now there are two separate routes that Rare can follow, · or Rare works upon it's magnificent base and introduces the content to make it a great proposal; · or Rare decides that this is the final product and they let them as it is. In this state it is like a beautiful crystal bottle with just poor and cheap wine in the inside. Wanting to be optimistic, it's much easier to add content than to work across all the core of the game. Let's hope for the best, that as it is we have nothing special here.

Mar 13, 2018
For the first time, I have a review that I feel like filling up with spoilers from start to finish. Yes, this game has a strong story, but the funny thing about it is that we do not know this until about 5 minutes from the end. This is Rime, a game that surprised me because it hit me hard when I was not expecting. Rime is a puzzle platformer, with some aspects of a walking simulator. Some emphasis is given to exploration, but somehow the game is linear, and if you do not make a point of picking up the various collectables, you can follow the line of action without much incentive to deviate from it. If you are looking for action or some sort of a fighting game, you have come to the wrong door. There is none of that here. At the beginning of the game, you wake up on an island. Everything leads you to believe that there was a shipwreck, but you do not remember anything. After that, I was simply puzzled by everything. I honestly did not know what to do and the game only gives us minimal information to allow us to move forward. Except for a mysterious black silhouette with a red cloak and a fox that soon appears and seems to want to guide us across the scenario, the early game is slow and somewhat disappointing. The world is empty and sterile, contrasting with stylized and very colourful, comic book artstyle. I admit that it was this environment that kept me going forward, as well as the soundtrack that is simply sublime, calm and relaxing classical music, which always gives a tone of solitude and devoid of hope to everything we are seeing on the monitor. This beginning is boring I cannot lie, but after the first hour of the game I was completely immersed, and I could not wait to see where the story would take me. The game goes through several stages, each one with refines the levels a little bit. Even without telling any story and with the cutscenes puzzling us more and more, we feel that the plot is getting more and denser and we begin to feel entangled in the discovery. The different levels are increasingly complex at the artistic level, something that is not followed by the complexity of the puzzles or even our ability to understand our actions. We are simply following the clues and executing the actions without knowing the reason. For me this is the biggest flaw of the game, being the other the controls when running jumps between platforms. When we climb the controls go crazy, and it is impossible to know which side we have to press for the character to jump in the desired direction. In a small scale, I may even consider that I do not like the noise of our footsteps, which do not seem to fit the rest of the ambient sounds that exist, and the game experiences some framedrops on XBox version, but nothing too concerning. And when we think that we are beginning to understand the storyline, we disdain to say that this game is another Journey clone, we feel that everything is very near the end, surely nothing else will happen, right? Then everything falls upon us ... not suddenly, first it gives us a tap on our shoulder, and when we turn, in that split second of surprise where we are looking at whoever nudged us, we get a punch in the face. Then, fallen without reaction, we realize ... this is really a great game!

Sid Meier's Civilization VI
7
User ScoreMelgacius
Feb 8, 2018
I love grand strategy games and the prospect of playing any Civilization game always fills me with excitement. Civilization VI was acclaimed upon its release as being a glaring improvement over its predecessor. Now that the dust had settled and the game has been around for some time, I do not think they have told us the whole story. I've really enjoyed playing this turn-based strategy game, yet I admit I became a fan of the game's scenarios or expansions, and I was not totally convinced by the traditional sandbox mode that was always been my favourite previously. This entry of the series presents a considerable dose of new mechanics, but that after squeezed it is clear that they are only derivations of what already happened in the last expansion of the previous game. Two of those are mandatory to be mentioned given the fact that they change the planning of cities in a remarkable way. The introduction of specialized districts that add bonuses and allow for evolutions throughout the game has now ended with the random upgrades of each of the hexagons that we could make in previous games. The decision of where to put them messes with many things in the present and future. Each one obeys certain rules, giving more or less bonuses depending on their location. This seems simple seen individually, just choose the hexagon that assigns the biggest bonus and put the district there, nothing special... however this placement will interfere with the placement of new districts in the future, or with the improvement of the hexagons if some new bonus is discovered in that tile, or even with the placement of World Wonders. This has turned my usual farm-filled cities into sparsely upgraded cities, since any improvement I could make could stir up future bonuses. Speaking of improvements now the workers are consumables. In the old days we would leave them there to make automatic improvements and there you go. We never thought about them ever again, but they were continually in their toil to micromanage hexagons. Now they only make three improvements each and then we have to produce or buy a new unit. It is no longer workers who build the roads, but the merchants, who when starting a commercial route create the road to the city to which they are going. Briefly, these are the biggest changes that the game presents us. There are other changes but with less impact on gameplay. In my opinion all these changes made the game more interesting. The four forms of victory are now domination, religious and science that already existed, and the diplomatic changed to the cultural one. Now everything that does not involve war has become much more interesting. We can spread religion all over the world, with our missionaries and apostles being able to engage in religious battles with their opponents, something that involves lightnings and arms thrown in the air, until one of them gets tired and ends up dying of apparent religious boredom. The spies work in a funny way, and they give a good help to our development by stealing technology that saves us a good amount of shifts in our productions, something very important in a scientific victory. Planning our cities to offer maximum tourism is an exasperating challenge because it is a bit of trial and error since we do not know the practical results of our decisions. But in a game of strategy it is blood that we seek, and it is with war that we obtain it. Artificial intelligence has many flaws and it is in this aspect that it is more noticeable. If we choose a low level of difficulty, it does nothing, if we choose a high level it cheats and produces much more units than possible, overwhelming us by the magnitude of the numbers. Even though they are not able to have a decent strategy during a war, and whether it is against us or against another bot player, wars are never beautiful to see and always end up close to a draw. I have been declared war multiple times, so many that I do not always understand why. The speed with which they declare war does not mean that they end up attacking us, often they do not, and sometimes they can not even reasonably interpret the terms of the peace treaties, mostly to their disadvantage. If they consider that they are losing the war even if they are winning it, they have no problem offering us cities to end the war with. Probably they do not mind that becaus one of the game biggest issues. Spam of cities. There is no downside to have multiple ones because now the degree of satisfaction of the inhabitants is done one by one and not in a general way. It is also easy to solve their needs, which means that if we distract ourselves we are surrounded by a sea of adversary cities and with no space to expand. In the long run more cities represent more points to everything. Well, to few characters that I can use, so much more to say...

Mighty No. 9

I have to start by saying that was not able to defeat all the game bosses, but since we could randomly choose any level to play, I could play the entire game, and I would be able to finish it in under 7 hours if I was not such a bad player. Mighty No 9 is an action platformer where we destroy and absorb robots and at the same time, we have to solve simple platformer puzzles to progress. The story of the game is not very complex. A virus infected all the machines that were not turned on tweaking their programs and making them bad. And then comes Beck, our hero, one of the Mighty Ones, that has to fight all other robots and be something like an antivirus to them. The capacity he has to absorb other robots is the way he obtains new abilities, weapons and powers that could theoretically change all gameplay, but most times the default weapon is the better one, except against some of the bosses, and even there, with some patience, I think any player could win with the default setup. This makes that is not important to choose wisely the levels to play. We can choose any order we want. We do not need any weapon to go through a specific level, so just play where you want. One of my favorite game mechanics was the dash to absorb the opponent. After we hit the other robots with some shots we can dash through them to absorb their powers. Each of those actions could give us a score that at the end of the level was added to a global list. That was kinda arcady and I like that. Unfortunately, that mechanic was also used to pass through some puzzle sections of the game and could also be used to ignore large portions of each level. We can just ignore most robots dashing over or under them. This could be quite cool for a speedrunner, but gameplaywise seems like cheating. Devs have noticed that, for sure, since they have made a challenge mode just for speedruns. Controls are easy to grasp. I've quickly adapted to dash movement, and to the way Beck could transform himself in another robot, despite the trickiness of that action, since it required a lot of button presses and just one more would require us to restart the process. If we are stopped, there's no problem, but in the middle of a battle, it's quite hard, since the game punishes us for any mistake. That's the problem of requiring a controller when we could map an entire set of keys on our keyboard... PC ports... Even the controller sensitivity was not great. I've tried several controllers and with any of those some of the times I've released the left thumbstick Beck would turn the other way when I just wanted to stop. Gameplaywise some of the levels are balanced and fun, we can notice that there was some thought about the level design so we do not have to spend time in boring sections, but most levels are made from a bunch of boring parts with some random difficulty spike in the middle, something like a small turn or a hard jump where we could lose tons of lives, and then more boring stuff until the final boss. This was quite frustrating since I was able to tempo the opponent robots, but not that jump or turn. It's a lazy way of making harder levels. The artstyle is all over the place also. This is not very objective, ofc, but in this cartoon style game, there are some parts that could use more polish. The background could always use some more polish, but even some important platforms could be better, since sometimes is hard to distinguish them from the background, and sometimes even the opponent is hard to distinguish from the actual background. The voice acting is mostly uninspired. One or two characters are fine, but most of them are lazy, slow and annoying. Even Beck's voicelines are unbearable after a level or two. The music is ok, and we can tweak it a bit even. Just to finish, I did have fun with the game, but I think it's a niche game, or even better, a niche inside a niche. Let me explain. Mega Man's fans will be disappointed with the game since is quite inferior to the original. Action platformers fans will be disappointed since the controls are not accurate enough, the platformer sections are not challenging enough and since it's possible to ignore most of the adversaries, that does not fit the usual gameplay. Fans of hard games will be disappointed since the game is not hard enough. So, who will like this game? The speedrunners and someone who wants to try a hard game but does not want a hardcore one to start. This game is not bad, but it has nothing remarkable for me to speak of. If you find this in a sale or in a bundle, give it a go.

Masked Forces 2: Mystic Demons

User ScoreMelgacius
Jan 15, 2018
1 – GENERAL This game has so many tags on the store page that it seems a AAA game. The devs even mention that it has RPG elements... This really sounds like a great mix of games, but it all resumes to a simple FPS. The graphics are traditional Unity stuff, with some care a polish, I can give them that, even knowing that half of the assets are misplaced. The sound performance goes from mediocre to unbearable, and I advise you to lower the sound a little bit or you will be scared with some loudness spikes here and there, but that is not related with gameplay, just some sounds are way worse than others. Some weapons seem to have very similar sounds, but mostly their sounds are OK. Some of the demons have proper sounds, unfortunately, they remind me of sick people vomiting. I find out that the sound clues do not help a lot since they do not come from the proper direction, and with any sense of distance. Fortunately, the soundtrack is not bad, at least that. Perfectly acceptable heavy metal. Story-wise... nothing! But what were you expecting? 2 – GAMEPLAY You play with your stiff soldier and you shoot mostly skeletons. You can choose between some different weapons, some of those completely useless. They all have different skins and are upgradeable. You can also acquire armour, each one of those with a different perk. I found that the one who gives us a bot to help is very handy. Unfortunately, that bot tends to spawn inside the walls in the dungeon level. It could be worse. Imagine that the enemies could see you and shoot you with pinpoint accuracy way before you can see them? Imagine that if you choose to play during the evening you cannot saw them at all? Well, all this will happen. Not all is bad. You have some different game modes, I found survival and invasion to be surprisingly fun. The game is short and repetitive, but it has some replay value since you will have to grind for upgrades to be able to kill stronger opponents. It's a shame that we have to do that grinding in the same levels over and over again. The game has a level editor, but it does not have multiplayer. There's a note that probably it will exist in the future, but I doubt that you will do more than find a player to do some co-op. 3 – CONCLUSION So, is this a poor's man DOOM? Far from that. Even for the small price, the game does not deliver. I bare to play it for less than 4 hours, perhaps I had some fun during the first one. It's not entirely bad, but it lacks the content, gameplay and graphics... ermm, ok, that didn't sound good...

1 – GENERAL Shank 2 is a 2D side scrolling beat'em-up. We play as Shank when he tries to return home but just to find out that everything was messy, their friends were then rebels and his preceptor was kidnapped. Yep, the script is not always very original, but most times there's no need for that when our sole purpose is to hack and slash. The story is told in cutscenes whit interesting artstyle. Graphics are very cartoonish, and I admit I like the style. Sometimes is hard to see where to grab, or where does a staircase start, but that does not ruin the immersion, it's just some details. Every sound is quite well made. The slashing, shooting and even the voice acting is well made. So far, so good. 2 – GAMEPLAY Let's start to take the elephant out of the room. I hate the controls. I hate that even if I'm facing left, my character shoots right because the mouse pointer is facing that direction. I know it's the best way to emulate the double thumbstick, and I also assume it works better than the controller version, but when the screen is packed full of opponents you have no idea where the damn mouse pointer is and is on those situations you need it the most! In a 2D game, if I'm facing right, I want to shoot right! Despite that, it's quite fun to slash and shoot all the opponents. You are able to do huge combos that will keep you motivated for a while, scaling up the violence and gore, but then you realize that is enough to spam the swords or the guns to just breeze through every level. Every boss may take some tries to defeat at first, but after you understand the weak spots they become easy to kill. Afterall they are just bullet sponges. There's a multiplayer mode that seems quite fun but is now empty, and I do not take any joy by playing it alone. The campaign is quite short, it took me about 4h to finish and I do not want to go back to the game so, imo, there's not much replay value also. 3 – CONCLUSION I feel that this is not a great game, but is not bad also. Is fun and challenging for a while, but it never gave me that feeling of pride and accomplishment for beating it. I do not understand also why there's no co-op option in it, it would be a blast. Since the game is cheap and so easy to find in a sale, I'll give it a thumbs up.

Unbox: Newbie's Adventure

Dec 23, 2017
1 – GENERAL Unbox: Newbie's Adventure is an open world platformer where you play as a box. Confusing enough? Wait for the story. You are the latest employee of a self delivery box company and you have to destroy the company enemy. How complex... I have to say that the game has surprisingly good graphics, despite some glitches here and there, some of those lead to gamebreaking bugs where you have to make a restart since you become stuck under or inside the scenario. The soundtrack suits the levels, but each soundtrack is short and repetitive. They end up abruptly and that makes it even worse. I've liked the "voice acting"… ok, there's none tbh, but all boxes have a clear personality that we can associate with a voice. That was quite well managed by the team, and the final result is quite good. 2- GAMEPLAY Jumping and make precise landings with a square box is quite tricky. The box never lands straight and the movement, as expected, is clunky. I know that the objective is that, but the controls are not easy to grasp, even with mouse and keyboard. With a controller is simply one of the worst experiences I had with a game. After you get the hang of it you start to take some fun from the game. It reminded me of Crash Bandicoot and overall, I've liked to explore and do all the missions. The missions were a bit repetitive, but I was never annoyed during them. Some are harder than others, but there's no sense of progression, some of the hardest are at the beginning, some of the easiest at the end. For instance, the first boss battle was the hardest one for me. Interestingly enough you can also drive cars. Don't ask you, as a box, can drive. Just do not think about it, ok? Driving is not a fun experience, since... well, … controls again. There are tons to explore at all levels, and a lot of collectables to find if you like to do that. I've finished the main campaign in about 8 hours, but you can easily take the double of the time finding all stuff and talking to everyone. The replay value of the game is here, in collecting everything. The game has some local co-op and you can play with 3 more friends if you wish. 3 – CONCLUSION The mix of genres in this game is interesting and I have to say that I've liked it. Beautiful and colourful landscapes, a fun open world to explore and much stuff to do. Very well conceived characters, lots of humour and references to pop culture. The controls made me not want to explore more and is certainly the worst of this game. Even so, if you find this game cheap, give it a go. It's not the best game in the world, but it's very competent and it did not disappoint.

DOOM

Dec 20, 2017
1 – GENERAL I do not know if I should classify DOOM as a FPS or a run and gun. Probably both should be the correct answer. When you start playing, and after a short and easy demon killing spree, the Doom Guy is presented with the first burst of storytelling. You immediately think that the game is ruined, but you are wrong. Doom Guy almost always ignores all the information and help, he's there to kill demons, and that's also, what you want. So it's a win-win, right? Despite that, the story is there if you want to know it, and it's quite good tbh. I assume I was one of those searching and reading parts of the story, it's interesting enough to keep me motivated to search for it. It's not shallow also. Thumbs up Bethesda. We have quite a set of sounds to talk about in this game. The guns have nothing remarkable to speak about, but also nothing wrong about them. That's good, do not get me wrong, but not at the same level as the demons sounds, that are mostly flawless and very different between them. And I cannot forget the soundtrack. That heavy metal... what a joy to listen. Probably the best soundtrack **** from this genre. This game is not a visual novel, and if you are searching for top quality graphics probably this is not your game, but it does the job quite well, and both Mars and Hell are quite well designed, and they are very immersive. The game as tons of platforming, so most levels evolve around that concept. The ledges have to be distinguishable so we know where to grab, that's enough for a surprisingly atmospheric game, but not enough to be as beautiful as the Witcher 3. But believe me, you will not notice that. 2 – GAMEPLAY Brace yourself because you will spend some time dashing and shooting in this game. And you will have to do this at quite a fast pace. That's positive stuff in my book, but at some point, this starts to get a bit repetitive, and you will ask for more. At that point, you will start to sense the endgame, and your excitement starts to grow again. OFC the very intensive boss battles give a little help to that excitement, even if the bosses are a bit of bullet sponges with not much of intelligence to go with it, but believe me when I say that you will only think about that after the battle is over. Glory kills are a blast and you will not get sick of those. Nothing better than a demon dismemberment to start the day, right? And also, those are very important for you, since they provide valuable health and armour pickups. Without those, you would not last long. Are you getting short of ammo? Worry not, just grab your chainsaw and saw some demon in half. He will give you that much needed ammo refill in form of massive ammo drops. Does this make the game significantly easier? Yes, but who cares? Just give me that chainsaw kill!! You can upgrade all your weapons for an increased amount of fun. You just have to find the correct pickups and buy an upgrade. Simple as that. That game is packed full of secrets to find and places to explore. Just prepare yourself to do some platforming puzzles and you are good to go. I admit that my main focus was always the killing part, but at some point, I started to take joy in finding those secrets also. You also have a multiplayer mode. A conventional arena shooter, with tons of unlockable and where you can play the demon also. This last part is the best thing about multiplayer modes. The mode is OK, but just very far from the fun I have in campaign mode. There's a lot of people still playing it, so if that's your thing, you will enjoy this one also. 3 – CONCLUSION I usually play older games, and I'm always complaining that the games are not what they used to be. DOOM is what games used to be when I was younger, and at the same time, it gives me hope for some other older games like Duke Nukem or so. It's a very good game, very fast paced, very straightforward, very linear and very fun. It worth every penny. Just go buy it!

1 – GENERAL The Division is a 3rd person shooter with RPG elements. We play in a post apocalyptical Manhattan that was caught by a human engineered disease that wiped almost the entire population. I've always asked myself why this sort of stuff always happens in Manhattan. Poor people... The graphics are quite impressive, I must say. I do not know the city, but all stuff that I've seen seemed quite close to what I imagine. It seems real. It's not common for me to get this kind of feeling. Buildings, streets, cars, people, animals... I quite like how all those elements were mixed to create this world. All the sounds set together create an immersive environment to walk around. NPCs have a proper amount of voicelines, and sometimes we pass by them and they are making a proper dialogue. We are quite able to sense desperation. When we see someone in need and we are able to help him, it's quite rewarding, at least it was to me. The only sound I do not like a lot was the one from the guns. It can be quite accurate, but it seems quite "short" like it was a paintball gun. Despite that, I guess I just had low tier weapons, and maybe that's not the case in the better ones. 2 – GAMEPLAY The gunplay is based on a cover mechanism, that I usually do not like. Most time it reminded me of Spec Ops: The Line, a game that I've loved, and probably that's the reason it gets me playing more at first. Glad I did it since the mechanics are very well balanced. We can do missions in co-op, up to 4 players, and it was quite easy to find players from my level to join me in any mission. With proper tactics, the game becomes quite fun and engaging. When 4 players are able to work together some very interesting moves can be done, and sometimes we get a great sensation of accomplishment when we are able to defeat some stronger boss. NPCs are some sort of bullet sponges. Probably it would be possible to make them harder to beat without using that, but I admit is not the best system in the world... it's ok. Unfortunately, we spend tons of time walking around, and that gets quite annoying after a while. Main missions are balanced and exciting, but you will spend most of your time doing side missions to find loot, gear and level up your character. That's not optional. You have to do those or you will not be able to progress in the main plot since the NPCs get stronger way faster than you. For me, both of these aspects are the worst part of the game. I got stuck in the main plot quite fast, and I was forced to start doing all the side missions suited to my character level... ohhh, and those are standalone missions... all to spend some time doing the main missions with 3 other guys. I'm not entirely sure about the replay value of the singleplayer. I suppose that after you beat the game, and since you are forced to do so many side missions, there's not much interest in playing again, except if you are a completionist. 3 – CONCLUSION This is just a first impressions video. I've not tested many things, like multiplayer. I was not very tempted to try it also, I think the risk is bigger than the reward, and I wanted to give my best at the main mission. I loved the way they have implemented the co-op. It's quick and easy to find someone to play with us. People that have played with me was friendly, but the community on Reddit was not very talkative. Maybe since the game is mostly singleplayer, I do not know. Without a sale, the price is quite high, but with a sale, the game is totally worth it just for the singleplayer alone. I think most of the initial bugs are now gone. It may not be the best game in the world, but I think most of the criticism is not deserved at this point. Very good game!

Far Cry 3

1 – GENERAL Far Cry 3 is an open world FPS created by Ubisoft. It shares lots of the traditional Ubisoft game mechanics like climbing a tower to reveal part of the map, or having the chance to explore to know more about the story of the Island. Speaking about story, the plot of the game is not the best I've seen, at best is solid, but we forgive all its faults when we see that characters are well built and one of the villains is probably one of the all time greatest in videogames. Resumed, you are on vacations on an Island with your friends and you are caught by pirates. If you want to know more, just play the game. Graphics still old even from today's standards, but I've experienced a lot of framedrops after a nVidia update, later partially solved, but I still suffer from unexpected framedrops when driving vehicles. The world is not as beautiful as in Ghost Recon Wildlands, but is still very enjoyable to watch. Sound effects are well set together, but the NPCs have just a little amount of voicelines, so we spend most game listening to the same ones. The music is atmospheric, and it always sets a good mood for gunfights, despite that it changes when every NPC is dead, so we know when we can stop paying attention. 2 – GAMEPLAY Most of the game fights are satisfying, guns are properly balanced and they all feel different and fun to play. We have to loot corpses and boxes to gather money to buy and upgrade weapons, but after a while they all become free at shops, so all money is only important until a certain part of the game, after that it just become useless. Most times you can approach a mission from more than one angle, and that's rewarding. Sometimes a mission has a small difficulty spike, nothing to worry about, but you end up going by trial and error, and eventually you end up doing the mission with just brute force. There's tons to explore in the islands, and also a lot to search and find. Interestingly enough the map is not packed full of repetitive missions that we have to do in order to develop our skills. I've mostly just done the main story and some sidequests, and I still progressed at a good pace. It took me about 20h to finish the story, I think that a completionist can take another 30h from the game, or even more, so the balance between story and repetitive sidequests seems to me spot on. Way better than actual games. Now is not common to say this, but thumbs up Ubisoft! 3 – CONCLUSION I have three major problems with this game: Its peak is not the ending, but the killing of the firs villain; The best moments of the game are QTE, and that ruins the fun; Both endings are not very inspired. There's still some funny bugs, but none of those ruins the experience, they are just fun. Multiplayer is still active, even more than lawbreakers, but is not very interesting. So, do I recommend the game? OFC, it's a great game, that worth's the current full price, but is so easy to find it in a sale, that I recommend you to wait a bit of one of those.

1- GENERAL This is not actually a proper review, just played for 5 or 6 hours, but I've asked for the opinion of some of the community on Reddit, and I have my own ideas on the game, this is what I've sum up, and there's a lot to talk about this game if you have the time and patience to listen. Lawbreakers it's a twitch arena FPS that tries to emulate that old Quake stile games based on skills and map knowledge. Pretty much there's no story in this game, at least one that makes any sense, so let's forget about that. For most players that's not important, but I have to mention that. Even the characters have no backstories and are kinda undifferentiated, and most times I didn't even know if I was one of the good or bad guys. It has a good number of maps, but they are almost all very similar and not very exciting. Generically they all follow the same scheme, a flanking route and an in your face straightforward path to the objective that usually is in a central open low gravity field. There was one exception that I've loved, Vertigo map that was so open and allowed me so much more strategical options that I could spend an entire day just playing that one. Graphics are vibrant, with a large spectrum of colors without being childish or cartoonish, but sometimes it's a bit confusing when we are engaged in a mid to long range 1v1. I've liked the sounds from weapons, they are distinct, but sometimes I had some trouble distinguishing the hitmakers from the other sounds around. 2 – GAMEPLAY As usual in the genre we play a 5v5 team match. The game modes are more or less the same from other games, except blitzzball where we have to do something similar so score goals, but it's essentially another capture the flag with a twist. We have 9 characters each one with different roles. They are quite distinct and they've seemed balanced. Even the community didn't mention overpowered classes when I discuss the game in reddit, so that seems not to be an issue. It's easy to try them out and quickly you will understand witch one you like the most. The key feature about this game is the low gravity fights, and when you get the hang of those they are quite cool and satisfying. Really thumbs up here. Also, the skill cap to master this feature is quite high. Not so high as I was expecting, but even so we are easily played around by a more experienced player, and that's how it should be. Despite that is quite easy to get into the game and take fun out of him. When the low grav is so important in a game I found strange that most times the choke points are inside small rooms where we are permanently hitting the ceiling and objects, making the battles chaotic and sometimes disorientating. On most maps the objective is inside a room, and the playerbase is so small that any try to make a custom match just to choose the maps will end up in a empty match. It's annoying. Now the game has a competitive mode, but maybe too little, too late. I've queued several times, two or three times for over five minutes without being able to find a match, so I was unable to play any competitive game whatsoever in this free trial. That leaves us with quickplay. Almost zero communication and teamplay, but also almost any toxicity that I've noticed. 3 – CONCLUSION Lawbreakers is quite a good game. Gameplay is rather good, it has good game modes, well designed characters and team roles, well balanced. Easy to get into, very mechanically rewarding, since the better players will almost always outperform worse ones. What went wrong then? The game does not have much content at the time, and even I noticed that it can become boring quite quickly. Despite being good and balanced the game does not excels in nothing particularly, so people had stick around their previous games. The genre is now oversaturated and players need something outstanding to change for their main titles, just the overall quality of gameplay is not enough nowadays. For a newcomer is not easy to find balanced matches because there's no matchmaking, just a match balance. In the other team it will surely be a good player that will dominate all newcomers, that will not have a proper learning curve. There's no kill cam so you have no chance to learn with your mistakes, and believe me when I say that half of the times you will not understand how someone killed you. It's hard for a casual, that will learn even slowly. Now people like the loot and shiny stuff, and Lawbrakers' crates give uninteresting stuff, seems there's no shiny reward for our effort. It seems also that at some point changes were made to the game that annoyed original players. That didn't work well. Even assuming that the changes where overall good, they have upset the current players that left, and didn't attracted new players to the game, since the player count was quite low. Well, not enough characters left. tl;dr, just give this game some love guys!

Mark of the Ninja

1 – GENERAL Mark of the Ninja is a 2D ninja stealth game. It can be a bit counter intuitive, but you play as a ninja, and you try to progress along the levels using stealth or silent kills to remain undetected by all the guards. All the story makes sense in the end, when you are able to putt all the parts together to make your final decision in the game. That story is told almost entirely in cutscenes. I usually do not like that, but in this game this does not ruins immersion, since levels are long and some moments of rest between them are welcome, so we can clear up our mindset. Graphics are in "comic style" but the final result is, for me, very impressive. All the shadows and textures clearly stand out, becoming a important part of gameplay. Even all the sound effects, represented as image, are a must, and they are not a intruder in the game, they are perfectly incorporated and soon we see all that elements as part of the story. The sound effects are minimalist, and that feels great, because you can easily associate sound effects to actions of NPCs and you can react and plan over them. Soundtrack is very well set, and contributes to the stealthy aspect of the game. 2 – GAMEPLAY One of the problems of making reviews from old games is that almost everyone know what to expect. I was expecting flawless controls, and that was not the case. If you play with keyboard and mouse, like I did, the controls seem... clunky. Just a small twitch in the mouse and the game recognizes an entire different move and you lose the round. Sometimes you want to jump down and you jump to the side or you do not jump at all. So do not be stubborn and play this game with a controller, I think it probably will be much better and easier. Despite that, the gameplay is very good. Here stealth is really stealth. You must evade or hide behind objects to escape the guards that can easily kill you if they spot you. Sure you can fight for a bit, but only against a guard at any time, and a sniper will kill you with just one shot. You have a skill tree to unlock, and that will give you some tools and abilities to make your task easier, but not easy. Stealth games often choose to hide mechanics, but this is not the case. Here you will know when, how and why you've failed. You can see all the consequences of your actions and take decisions over it. You can easily anticipate all moves so you can plan ahead properly. And imagine what? The game is great. The AI is well set. Behavior of guards is quite predictable and fair. Even so your window of opportunity is small so you have to plan properly or you will be shot dead quickly. Devs say that you can skip violence almost the entire game, and only one boss requires direct confrontation, but killing people is so much fun in this game... There are some hidden passages that lead to collectibles and puzzle style bonus levels. You can search them or skip them entirely. It's up to you. 3 – CONCLUSION I've loved this game from the start to finish. I was a bit disappointed with the ending, but that's not enough to make you not play this game. The game is quite cheap, and it's on sale a lot of times. Search for a sale and try it because this is a seriously great game!

1 – GENERAL Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop is a free to play, top-down shooter. In this game we have a team and we have to control them and kill the alien hordes to reach the end of each level. Sound effects and voice acting are good enough. The graphics are also more than enough to have a very good free to play game. The game has a story, but I admit that I have not pay much attention to it, so I assume it's there to try to give some substance to gameplay, or I would have noticed it better. 2 – GAMEPLAY You can choose from 4 different classes, each one of those kinda unique. Each one with 2 weapons. You aim and shoot with the mouse, and sometimes you lost track of where you are aiming, but that is a minor issue. I've not found any problems with gameplay. You can play solo or online with a group of other players. Playing solo is quite good. It's easy to command the other team members, and they are good enough not to stand in your way. Playing with other people is very fun and way better to work as a group. There's ingame voice so you can talk with other people and that makes things even easier. There's some different missions, each one of those can give you around 1 hour of gameplay, and you can repeat them a lot of times without getting tired, so I have to say that the length of the game and it's replay value are quite good. You can add mods to the game, and that makes it even more interesting. 3– CONCLUSION There's nothing in this game that clearly shines. There's also nothing that really disappoints. What intrigues me the most is that there's nothing to buy here, and for a completely free game I have to say that it is a quite good one, and you will have a lot of fun before you get tired of it, so just try it.

Portal 2

User ScoreMelgacius
Apr 26, 2017
1 – GENERAL Portal 2 is a very funny puzzle platformer that you play in first person perspective. For starters, do not do like me. Despite being a puzzle game, the story behind the game is at least as compelling as the adrenaline rush of solving that new puzzle, and this game is packed full of references to the first game of the franchise. So, save some time if you have never played the first game and go play it, then return here. Leave this review paused in the background. So the story... yeah, it's awesome. Full of twists, very, very funny. And the voice acting? Probably the best I've seen in a game. I admit I was always waiting for the lines from some of the characters, and sometimes I would just stop playing just to listen to all of it. The game is not young and it runs in a even older engine, but the visuals are still sharp. You can spot bad textures here and there, and probably nothing shines from today's standards but you will have the general feeling of quality, and the game has no reasons to be ashamed. 2 – GAMEPLAY How do you play this? You have a portal gun that... shoots portals. It sounds strange but it's quite clever actually, and after the first 2 or 3 puzzles you can handle the mechanics perfectly. Valve introduces new mechanics regularly, like bouncing gel, or speed gel, or cubes or lasers. It's a very intelligent way of keeping the game fresh and interesting. You never feel overwhelmed with mechanics since you will learn them one at a time. All the levels are very fair. You can start by looking to a chamber and thinking that there's no way you can solve that puzzle, but then you start to do something, and gradually the solution will come, and that's very rewarding. I admit I've never got that feeling of being intelligent but the opposite. Most likely I ended up thinking that the solution was very simple, it was just hidden in plain sight. And that's another positive aspect of the game. You have a co-op mode where you can play with other player to solve problems with the double of the portals. I've never could progress much in that mode since all the players logged of one or two puzzles after starting. But the campaign alone is enough to buy this game, and you will still have tons of fun, even considering that the replay value is not high, at least for me. 3 – CONCLUSION This game totally worth the pricetag. You have story, narrative, gameplay, co-op, sci-fi, puzzles and very fun moments in the same game. This is probably one of the best games I've ever played, and ofc I recommend it!

Company of Heroes

User ScoreMelgacius
Apr 24, 2017
1 – GENERAL Company of Heroes it's a RTS that plays on WWII scenario. I love to study and play games from this dark period of our history, so my impressions are always a bit biased in games like this one. This game was released in 2006 and it's impressive how a game almost 11 years old still holds on quite well. Graphics are still on par with today games, and just the cutscenes are already dated. Sounds were very well chosen and all the effects seem quite real, and the game it's quite immersive right from the start. The storyline is one of the best aspects of the game. Fortunately the usual plot of conquering a base and that's it does not happen here. Most of the time you have to secure a road, capture strategic points, prevent the enemy retreat. All missions seems alike with reality, and I love that. 2 – GAMEPLAY If you want to play the game properly then start by mapping your keyboard and do not play like me, only with mouse. Despite not being the most micromanagement related RTS, you still have a lot of actions to do at the same time. The fact that they never overwhelm you, giving you a lot of time to spend thinking only in the real action is perfect. In this game the resources are the strategic points scattered along the map. Each one of those with different values. Even if you capture a point you have to connect it to your base, or you will not receive that resource. Each mission is long and you are free to choose your approach. The mission briefing plays a major role here, saying the primary and secondary objectives that you should accomplish in each map. I've played the entire first campaign and it's respective missions and I have a blast doing it. My major issue in campaign mode is the behavior of the enemy AI. They seem to always choose defensive stance, and most of the times they will not endanger your base. Fortunately in skirmish mode that is different. Multiplayer is still active, and most of the players know what they are doing, so if you are new to the game you will probably have a hard time competing with them. 3 – CONCLUSION I am not a good RTS player, but I cannot stop loving this games. CoH is simply a joy to play. No bugs or glitches, full destroyable scenarios, a lot of units to choose from, a very well written storyline with lots of replay value. This game it's still great from today's standards. If you want to buy it, it's easy to find it on a sale, so just be patient and wait a bit.

Apr 22, 2017
1 – GENERAL Age of Empires II HD it's a remastered version of the original isometric RTS game that we spend a ton of time playing when we were small brats! The graphics had a little boost but the game remains more or less the same. You have those nostalgic sounds and soundtrack, and even the same menus. Those menus are already dated with a lot of options lacking that could improve the game a lot but do not forget, we are here for the nostalgia... You can chose one of several civilizations to play with, customize the map and go, or you can choose some of the available historical missions to play. Multiplayer is alive and kicking, and that was the first time I've experienced it. I've ****! 2 – GAMEPLAY Age of Empires it's still a great game. The AI always had some issues, and now it still has. For the core players this will be a easy and exploitable game, but it gives some illusion of depth for the casual gamer. Either way it's very fun to play, it's fun to try to find the perfect balance between resources and armies, try to boost economy, and crush all the opponents. The replay value is immense. You can customize each map, you have the missions and the multiplayer. Even the tutorial is interesting. Overall it's still a very actual game. 3 – CONCLUSION I have some issues with the game. OFC I'll recommend it, the game it's great, but it seems a lazy remake, since a lot of stuff could easily be improved, menus could be updated without losing the classic feeling of the game. But now it very easy to find this game almost for free so, I do not care with nothing of that stuff. Just buy it and have fun!

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

User ScoreMelgacius
Apr 22, 2017
1 – GENERAL Brothers is a game that relies a lot on storytelling without saying a single word. Strange enough? I hope so, because they do it brilliantly. In this puzzle adventure game your task is to find a medicine to heal your father. I do not want to spoil much more, but I have to say that in this Indie game you will forgive most of it's faults because you are always compelled to go forward to the next level and unravel another bit of the story. Graphics are a joy to watch, and there's even an interaction with the environment where you can just sit and stare at the landscape. The soundtrack is also flawless. Very well chosen. People can also play this game just for it's music. 2 – GAMEPLAY Most of the narrative driven games do not have a proper gameplay to go along, but Brothers is built upon some interesting mechanics. This game is actually a single player co-op! To words for that GE-NIOUS! We control both brothers at the same time with the dual analog sticks of the controller. At the beginning it feels a bit strange and we fail most of the moves. The game is very short so we never get the full hang of that, but soon enough we are perfectly able to do it almost without mistakes. The puzzles are quite simple and not very challenging. TBH the main challenge of the game is controlling the brothers, and not to cry here and there... It's also fun to interact with NPCs and find out the different reactions from each brother. Despite all this the game is very short and has no replay value whatsoever. 3 – CONCLUSION So pointing that, is it worth buying? For sure! More than a game it's a very powerful experience, and I clearly suggest anyone to try this one out!

Hitman: Absolution

User ScoreMelgacius
Apr 17, 2017
1 – GENERAL Hitman Absolution it's a stealth action third person shooter where strategy still plays a major role in your gameplay. As usual 47 is the main character in this game. The story is well set together. Most of the main characters are well built, but there's a lot of sideckicks in the plot that are simply forgettable. I understand their purpose in the game, but for me that's a fact, I do not know why and from where they got into the story. Graphics are very good and detailed for a game with 5 years. It has aged very well. Sound is very well put together, and it makes the game a joy to play. It helps a lot with immersion. 2 – GAMEPLAY Stealth plays a major role in this game, but as usual, for me, being stealthy means that I am able to hide the pile of bodies that usually leave behind. This doesn't means that the game is very hard, just that I am very impatient. Well, on the contrary the game usually offers more than one solution to the problem that we face at any given time, but even so most of the fans of the series say that this game is very linear... I think I have to play the others, since I could always see different choices that I could make. When we got all stuff right, we feel like a ninja, and that's very rewarding. The feeling of a clean kill, no suspicion to be made is impressive and addictive, and that make want to progress so I can meet my next challenge and see how I would perform. There's no difficulty curve whatsoever. I've found some of the last missions surprisingly easy, and some of the middle ones incredibly hard. But that doesn't mean nothing. If we join all this with the well written plot, we can imagine that the replay value is huge! On top of that the game also offers a major sandbox, the contracts. In that mode you can play contracts made by other players, create your own or even invite friends to play your contracts and try to beat them. It's a very interesting mode! 3 – CONCLUSION Absolution was my only game of the Hitman franchise and I've liked it a lot. It took me about 12h to get through the campaign, but at some point I have lowered the difficulty. This game worth the asked price, but try to get it in a sale and enjoy!

The Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare

User ScoreMelgacius
Apr 9, 2017
1 – GENERAL The Mean Greens Plastic Warfare is a team based cartoon third person shooter. You play as a plastic toy soldier and you simply have to play alongside your teammates to eliminate the other team. There's one all vs all map, most in all the others is very important to focus in your objectives as a team, or you'll be wrecked! There's only multiplayer, so no solo campaigns in this game. Every map as it's own soundtrack, and most of them are very good and atmospheric. Sometimes I'm playing and whistling the song at the same time. Great! The game uses Unreal engine 4, so the graphics are quite good, and all runs smooth on my PC. Not notice any popups of bugs. I've noticed one or two glitches, and that's it. 2 – GAMEPLAY You have the expected and usual gamemodes in this kind of games. The interesting part of the game is mostly the theme and graphics. The controls are very simple, all works well and accurate, if you want a nice, sweet and smooth game you will like this one. You jump in the game fully armed. There's no ammo refills, so use them wisely. The gameplay is not very quick, and your character should be able to take one or two shots, so I have to say that this game is very noob friendly, but do not be fooled by that, the more skilled players will dominate almost all fights, so choose them carefully. You have a lot of maps to play in, so you will not get tired of the game very quickly. On top of that this is a very casual game so you can jump to it just to play a round or two, and then leave again. ATM there's not much people playing the game, but I could still have some full matches to play, most of the time with new players like me, so the problem should be in the retention rate of the community. There's no competition to have in this game. It's positive for those who like to keep it simple and casual, but for the hardcore competitive gamers this game does not have much to offer. There's no customization options, so the **** will not like this game also. 3 – CONCLUSION I just love games like this one. To be honest this was one of the best I've play lately. It's simple and fair. It's really a shame it doesn't have the playerbase it deserves, but it's still a great, fun, small game at a fair price. Just try it!

Punch Club

User ScoreMelgacius
Apr 3, 2017
1 – GENERAL Punch Club is a Indie RPG, retro style fighting simulator. Seems a bit of a mesh of concepts but the final product is interesting. Sounds and music are very good. That traditional 80s environment very well made in this game, combined with sublime 16 bit graphics and a lot of pop culture elements added into the game. A huge rule in a RPG is a proper story, and in this case I cannot go that far. The story is good enough, but nothing fancy. It gets the job done, and that is more than enough. 2 – GAMEPLAY When you start playing you will be very excited with every new action or achievement that you got. You have to manage when to train, sleep, eat, work, and that seems simple and balanced enough. At this point you do not have many strategical choices when fighting, but you don't care, you are having fun. But then you start progressing, and you get into underground fights, being a hero, having friends and a girlfriend, you have to save to built a gym, and you are always being mugged when you have money in your pocket. Then you start to get bored with so much grind. When you start to get annoyed you realize that probably you have made some bad choices when building your skilltree. And at this point I can talk a bit about the replay value. On paper it has a lot. New skills, new fighting styles, new training options... but will you play the game again knowing that you have to grind all the way through all over again? 3 – CONCLUSION So, are you a grinder? Are you ready to work hard to progress very slowly? If yes, I have to say that all that grind makes the game very realistic, but I want to have fun in a game, and at some point Punch Club becomes a full time job, and that's too much for me.

1 – GENERAL Saying that Dirt 3 is a Rally simulator it's an understatement. This is probably the most complete arcady style rally game that I've played ever and it's amazing that the game was launched in 2011. The graphics are completely amazing. Ofc we can spot bad textures here and there, but most of the time everything is in place. Weather effects, lights, day and night tracks, snowy tracks. It's impressive I have to say. Every car has his own sound and we can clearly suspect the amount of horsepower that each one has. It's different to drive a Mini from the 60's, or a B group car from the 90's. 2 – GAMEPLAY You start with a 4 years contract and that’s it. You have then to start grinding reputation for new teams offers, and points so you can access new events. The reputation system becomes annoying since one of the offers is always way better than the others, so you tend to choose that over all the other and, with that, you will not experience most of the cars available. And there are a lot of available cars... believe me, a lot! There's so many content in the game that I'm afraid I forget some of it. We have several disciplines: Traditional rally; Rallycross; Trailblazer (a rally with much more powerful cars); Landrush (rallycross with trucks or buggies); Head 2 Head (most of the time is the event final); Gymkana (where you test your skills performing several tricks). So and what about the gameplay? The game can offer a lot, but if it handles bad it isn't worth it. Fortunately it handles quite well. It's not a perfect simulator. It has a lot of an arcade feeling, but the driving is still accurate and precise, just not unforgiven. You can choose from a lot of difficulty levels of the AI, and you can choose the level of assists that you want. I found medium level to be adequate to my level of driving. With the flashback system you can go back in time and make that perfect corner that you've missed. You can only do that 5 times per race. It's more than enough. I have a big issue with the game. The massive loading screens. We have a lot of those, and they take a lot of time to go, so that take away some of the immersion, and I do not like that. 3 – CONCLUSION I've had so much fun with this game... I play with a controller and it was more than enough for me. I do not know why you cannot find this game on Steam anymore, but if you find it somewhere just get it. I think I got it for free during some giveaway, I do not know where. Well worth it! Great game.

How to Survive

User ScoreMelgacius
Mar 22, 2017
1 – GENERAL How to Survive is a Zombie Survival with crafting elements. When I've bought the game I thought it was more like a RPG, but now I think that is more like an hack and slash action game. That's immediate fun in my book. Graphics are interesting for a top down game. We can clearly identify different classes of zombies. They are not the best I've seen, but they are quite good. All other elements are just ok, and I have some issues with some of the landscape that sometimes doesn't allow me to see my player. Sounds are the worst thing of the game IMO, zombies sound like Muttley, **** **** dog in Wacky Races. Monkeys are simply annoying and parrots are just bad. But we forget about that when we meet Kovac. The best character in the game. Badass as hell. Great voice acting from him. 2 – GAMEPLAY I have some issues with mouse and keyboard controls, but they are completely ok when you get used to them, and after that I admit is not a bad PC port. The game is a simple go there, and do that. Freedom of choice is not big, you have to follow the rules here. Crafting is quite easy. Blueprints can give you a hand, but most of the time you can just press "combine" in your inventory and you will craft something useful. I could use more spots to collect since is hard to understand what is useful or not. I've never felt that feeling of toughness in the game. You have to eat, drink and sleep, but every island provides you enough stuff for you to survive with small effort. Ofc I've only reached half way in the game, so this can be worse with progression. It seems to me that the game has some replay value. It has different characters, different modes, different options to follow with skill tree. 3 – CONCLUSION It was hard for me to get in the game. First 2 hours where a mess, but now I just want to keep going. The game is very interesting and fun. OFC it's not a AAA game, but is very common to be on sale, so is very cheap. Go for it!

Duke Nukem Forever

1 – GENERAL Duke Nukem Forever it's a first person shooter that does not take itself very seriously. The King is back. Plot is nowhere to be found, over the top weapons are everywhere. Maybe to compensate. Graphics are a mess, and they should be dated even in 2011. Sounds are fine, despite the casual asmatic chicken sound here and there. 2 – GAMEPLAY If you played Duke Nukem 3D you will be at home. This game is not a classic, at least a good one, is more a mess ****. Some additions to the game, like driving, are bad, so most of the time the game is all over the place, and nowhere around at the same time. There's no replay value whatsoever. If you are man enough to finish this game once most likely you will uninstall it and forget that you have it. Jumping is not very intuitive, sometimes Duke jumps a lot, in other occasions he's unable to jump over a coin. Puzzles are laughable. Well except if you hate them. They are as hard breathing. Key cards where used once... in the tutorial. 3 – CONCLUSION This is clearly a Duke Nukem's game. Can't go around that. Is very similar in every aspect of original ones. Ok you can grab and throw a turd... and you have wall boobs... but just try to forget about that. The game is fun for a while, but then you realize that you are not 16 anymore and you like proper games. You have grown. You have wife and kids, newer generations does not relate with Duke anymore. Does the game holds up without Duke? No. Without him is a uninspired lazy piece ****. And with him? Well, it still is an uninspired lazy piece ****, but it has Duke... and it's a cheap game if in sale or in a bundle. I've sunk some hours in it. I had fun. I was unable to finish it.

1 – GENERAL Steep is kinda radical sports, open world, action and multiplayer game. Quite a lot of stuff at the first glance, but this game is a sky, paraglide, snowboard and wingsuit simulator. Not much of a story here. You go there, and you do that. You will climb up the ranking for sure, but there's not much of a plot here. Graphics are incredible. You can literally stare at the landscape. Ubisoft is bad in a lot of stuff, but lately they simply make beautiful games I have to admit. The soundtrack is very good. They have grasped the mood of each challenge and for a game that, at first glance, is here to pump adrenaline in someone who is sit on a chair, it can be very relaxing at some moments. I spent a lot of time in orientation challenges because they were incredibly peaceful and quiet. 2 – GAMEPLAY I started the game and I was right there in the action. First minutes were bad, since I was trying to understand the controls, but after that I admit the game is very noob friendly, and quite challenging for those who simply want to give that extra effort. Controls are very simple and precise. I choose to play the game with a controller, it was much more simple. This game is a PC port from a console game, but I have any issue with that. The trick mechanics is very solid and easy to understand, but the game is not very realistic in some aspects. You can go 100 miles per hour against a stone or a tree and there's no problem, you simply get up with a pun. And the speed... my god, the speed. Staring at the map is impressive, and that gives you the feeling of freedom of choice. OFC you will only go to the new events that you unlock when you progress, you will not explore a massive map on foot, so that is a bit useless, unless you are crazy. You have an ingame store, mostly for ****, where you can customize your character. I miss some customization options on default, I admit. What I do not like is the fact of the paid season pass includes new and completely different sports, rocket wings. That's massive cash grab. I'm not sure about the replay ability of this game, the game seems like it is his own replay. Reviews are all over the place about content, so I'm here to save you. I do not know... for me the game was fresh and cool, I was always excited with new activities, but I admit that the game consists in going through rings and that's it. Some sort of multiplayer is there. I've found some other players and that's cool. I've invited some to ride with me, one have accepted but the experience is not very different from playing alone. 3 – CONCLUSION I do not like this type of games. I've notice in UPlay that it was on a free trial during the weekend so I just got it for 2 days. I was very impressed by it. I have tons of fun, and I've considered buying it then I check the price. Without any discount 60€ + 20€ from the season pass. It's too much. I would wait for a sale on this one, it's a impressive game with a massive price.

1 – GENERAL Superhot it's a FPS with great ingame mechanic. The time almost stops when you stand still, and moves normally when you move, which is very clever, very clever indeed, now that I think about it. The game has a story mode, which is bad, but... who cares? It's just there to try to connect the dots. It took me 3 hours to finish and after that we unlock different challenges and the endless mode. 2 – GAMEPLAY I love the gameplay of the game, the way we have to carefully plan our moves when standing still considering that the enemies can, and will, move also when we start moving again. So, when I finish any level I was always impressed with my skills and smartness. I have to admit that sometimes I even imagine myself in the Matrix. The graphics are minimalist, but they do the job so well that you end up thinking that they are one of the world's wonders. It's not normal for this to happen. 3 – CONCLUSION This game is a proof that there's always room to make innovative games. There's a huge downside with it, a true elephant in the room... it's price. 23€ is too much. I cannot recommend it for that price, not even for half of it. Buy it in one of many sales under 10€ and, for that price, you will likely have your money's worth.

Aliens vs. Predator

User ScoreMelgacius
Feb 24, 2017
1- GENERAL AVP is a FPS based on the well known cinema saga with the same name. Rebellion produces this new game, and imo they have caught most of the good aspects of the movies. The different campaigns are the most known aspect of the game, and since the game is from 2010, with a dead multiplayer it's the only thing I can judge. All campaigns are well built, despite the fact we always get the feeling that the Alien one is always going with the flow. All campaigns seem well connected, and if you play all at the same time the plot becomes a bitt better. Graphics are OK for a 2010 game, and with direct x 11 it's a kinda interesting game. Sound is very immersive, especially the Predator sounds. 2- GAMEPLAY This game tries to gather some different mechanics, none of those in a specially good manner. If you play as a Marine you will have a more regular FPS experience. The game is kinda darkish, maybe to give some jumpscares, but it fails bigtime. I have not find noticeable bugs, but not being able to crouch is kinda odd. Weapons seem a bit weak, but in the other hand we can melee the Aliens with our hands... The base of the Predator's campaign is stealth, and being able to choose the proper resource of his arsenal. We only have access to the best weapons near the end of the game, and that's unfortunate. Also unfortunate the fact of the plasma custer intensive use of our energy. I love to see the red target forming, and I always choose other weapon just to save energy. Aliens have to use the shadows and their speed, but the controls are very confusing, with some learning curve to adapt to all the twists and turns that we will see. Try not to vomit... much. When we see the alien from the Marine or Predator's perspective their movements seem very elegant, and very well designed, it's a shame that those same movements do not feel the same when we are controlling them. We have some fatality moves. They are quite cool, but after we see all of them they became annoying, since we are exposed to other opponents when we are performing them, and they can take quite a while to finish. 3- CONCLUSION AVP is now marked at 14,99€. Before you buy the game you have to keep in mind that this game does not excels in any aspect. Not a especially good FPS, not a remarkable stealth game, not impressive melee hunting game. So what to do? All the interesting environment around AVP game is well built, and if you are a fan of the series you will like this game. On top of that, the game is easy to find in any sale at a very cheap price. So this can be fun for everyone. Be sure to give it a go.

Rust

User ScoreMelgacius
Feb 24, 2017
1- GENERAL Rust it's an open world, survival, crafting, building, sandbox game. Confusing? Well, I've skipped the first person perspective and the fact it is still in early access. What a cliche. There's not much of a story in the game. You spawn naked in an island, equipped with a rock and a torch, why? I do not know, I have to admit, and your only purpose is to survive... no matter what. The game is permanently multiplayer, so you need internet connection at all time. No solo or PvE official servers. 2- GAMEPLAY It's very important to start by saying that this game is not to play alone. If you do not have friends, or you do not like to play in groups you'll have a bad time in Rust. This is not a fase, developers openly state that the game is to be played in clans, and all the changes they made are to nerf the gameplay for the solo player, and to buff the clan experience of the game. Saying that, if you like to play in official game servers, and essentially vanilla, this is not the game for you. Fortunately Rust has tons of non official servers, modded, not modded, PvP, PvE... if you can imagine it, you'll probably find it. So, it may take a while but you will surely find a server that you like in this game. This seems very negative, but it not ends there. The community is toxic as hell. You will find all kind of negative personalities in this game, most of the time they are together in the same clan, and their sole purpose in the game is to ruin the fun for the other players. In the other hand, and again, if you search carefully, you'll find a server with good and cool people to play in. You just need to be persistent, and not give up. It's not over yet. My personal experience in official servers is short, but I admit that is common to find people with hacks. But, generally speaking, no one likes those. Finding people with VAC bans history playing Rust is not uncommon. Just to finish the dark side of Rust, clans will raid you to death, you will be door camped, you'll be roof shooted, you'll be griefed, you'll be bashed. Still here? Still reading? So everything is bad? No! Rust it's an awesome game, and I love it! Starting with the devs. Super active, weekly updating the game. Everything is good in the game? No glitches or bugs? No, but we know that the background team is working all the time, so they are not running away with your money. So, what do you do in Rust? You grind, you craft, you hunt, you craft, you build, you grind, you craft, you raid, and you're raided. Most of all, you can choose how to play the game, you can find the Rust you like and play it. Even if you want to play solo, like I do, you can find a server for solo players where you are not always in disadvantage against big clans. Base building plays an important role in the game, and you'll spend some time building, improving and optimizing your base. Maybe the most important aspect of Rust is the social one. You have to talk to people, making friends or allies is very important. Your allies and you can make a good defensive block against raiders, and ultimately that can mean that at the end of the day you are alive and with all your stuff. I've met a lot of cool people in Rust. One of the only games that make me add friends to my Steam's friendlist. We plan and share stuff (game related) when needed, and we simply care with this new friends ingame status. PvP is the core of the game. You can find great PvE servers, with great people and admins, but to play Rust you'll surely spend most of your time with PvP. And Rust is unforgiven. It's brutal in his essence. You will lose your stuff. You'll lose it, surely more than once. You have to know how to accept that. If you're unable to accept that concept, Rust it's not for you, just play "Don't Starve Together". Improve you fighting skills, be smart, and you'll be fine. 3- CONCLUSION Rust is now priced at 19,99€, but is quite common to find it on sale, or in a bundle. I've purchased the game in a bundle, and I was not very enthusiastic about playing it. I've tried it and now I'm completely hooked. I'm addicted. I love the game and it worths the pricetag with or without a sale. So be sure to try it.

1- GENERAL Shadow Warrior is a FPS made with that great 90s style. Lo Wang, the main character, starts the game trying to get a sword to his employer, Zilla, and after that he spends most of the game fighting demons with the help of a banned demon named Hoji. The plot is not the best I've seen, but is very good, and the acting is even better. I admit I spend the entire game looking for a twist, but the story is very straightforward, and after any chapter we want to play the next one just to discover another bit of it. Thumbs up. The story mode is the main thing in the game. It took me about 14h to go through, and I've enjoyed every single bit. 2- GAMEPLAY The game plays great. I have some issues with the controls, but just because I'm not very skilled and I do not like when I have button combinations to trigger a move. The swordplay is great, and I was always trying to use it just for the fun, despite having a lot of weapons that could make my life a bit easier. Being able to carry all weapons we can find was great, and the chance to upgrade them even better. It's funny that the sword destroys almost everything bt is not able to go through bambu. There're strong bambu in Japan. We have 3 independent skill trees to unlock and upgrade abilities, but we never feel overpowered. New opponents are always a bit stronger or annoying than the previous one, and the new abilities are always welcome and needed. The levels are long and kinda labirintish. We have no map, and sometimes we feel a bit lost. That's normal, and you always find the way out. Normally is the blinking door. There are a lot of secrets to find, and that gives you some replay ability. The fortune cookies where a lot of fun, and I was always looking for a new one, just to have a laugh reading them. When a enemy locks on us the music always changes. It's nice to set the mood, but is always a warning to when we have enemies, since after we kill any horde, the music goes back to normal. I rather prefer to have to look for the enemies and be surprised when I see them. There are some recycled sets, but there is no problem. The references to Serious Sam are obvious, and the gameplay and artstyle are very similar. 3- CONCLUSION This game is now at 34,99€ at Steam, and I would not pay that price for the game. I've bought it in a sale for under 5€, and for that price you have to try it. Oooh, just the demon rabbits alone worth the 5€ tag.

1- GENERAL Reus is a strategy God game where your control and coordinate 4 different giants (oceans, forests, rocks and swamps) to provide to a planet conditions to humans to settle and prosper. From where do the humans arrive? Who knows, but they came in a donkey. You start in an empty planet when the giants awake, and then you have to coordinate them and all of the available abilities to sustain life and unlock new stuff during the predefined amounts of gameplay time. Yes, you are not able to choose how many time your gamewill last... 2- GAMEPLAY You start from playing 3 different tutorial, and they are very good to be honest, and then you start your slow paced journey through eras. Having no fast forward option surely helps giving the slowish feeling to this game. Placing minerals, plants in animals in the correct spots to boost production to the max is the secret. This resources will allow us to finish projects that will give us ambassadors, that unlock new abilities, that will allow us to upgrade the resources, to allow new projects to get new ambassadors, to unlock... you understand the point. In top of that you are not able to select projects, and people sometimes are bumb and select projects impossible to finish. Some upgrades are worse than the previous version of the resource, and I do not know that previously to the upgrade. That's not normal. If you give a lot of resources at a time, people will start to become greedy and will start wars against other villages or even against the giants, and then you'll have to just finish them off. That is fun, but some achievements depends in having war, and you need villages to have those. Bummer! It's not hard to unlock all content, but you can get bored quite easily with the lack of content of the game. 3- CONCLUSION This is a small and fun game, but with not much to offer. The general mechanics of the game is very good, but I was a bit disappointed with it. It seemed different when I saw some gameplay. Do not get me wrong, the game is fun and entertaining, but it lacks some must have stuff of this kind of games. At the moment only costs €9,99 and I think this is a fair price for what the game offers.

1- GENERAL Thief is a stealth action game that I've bought in a sale when I was playing Dishonored. I thought it was alike... well, it is, but is not as good as it could be. As the title suggests the game is based in stealing stuff, but we do it with no purpose. We are not Robin Hood, we just steal... maybe that's the purpose, but I think all this theft could have a meaning. It has not. The game goes in Victorian London, now ruled by a tyrant for some reason. After the opening scene we spend most of our gameplay trying to explained what happened then and after that. Not much of a plot, but it seems all the story is kinda weak. The voice acting and character building was not very good also. 2- GAMEPLAY But the game is about stealing and stealth, and in that aspect it's great. We are often confronted with hard sections where it seems impossible to go through without being noticed by the guards. So most of the times I just knock them or put an arrow on their heads. The game is very difficult, and even on normal it was clearly hard for me to go through. Despite that, the AI is bad, with some bugs that I've learn to exploit. That does not ruin the fun. The game is not open world though, and we have a lot of loading screens between sections. That takes some of the immersion, since some of those could take up to 10 seconds on my laptop. The controls are just frustrating, since we never know how to do something. Sometimes we are able to do an action just jumping, others we have to press a determined button... The graphics are good, and I have no problems running the game in medium setup, that helps a lot. The score mechanism gives the game some replay ability, but I warn that I do not know how can someone go through the game unnoticed. Well, maybe I'm just bad. 3- CONCLUSION I've enjoyed the game, but I've never have that feeling of immersion. I've quit before the ending also. The problem was that I was always comparing the game to dishonored, and he always lost. If you are able to ignore the bad story and the loading screens you will have a rather good stealth game where you will love to steal everything. But I've noticed the €29.99 price tag, and even knowing that the game is on sale a lot of times, it's annoying that the producers keep it at so high prices, it's just unreal and that's the reason I thumbed it down.

1- GENERAL Saviors it's a top down shoot em up that reminds me a bit of Aero Fighters from the 90's. In this game you control a ship with fully customizable weapons and you have to destroy the bad aliens that you've encountered! What an intricate plot! 2- GAMEPLAY To be honest, this game has a lot of options and gamemodes, but they all look the same. For starters it has local co-op that I never tested, and in single player it has 3 modes, story, arcade and survival. All the 3 seem the same, the first one with a storyline so boring that I didn't even care to read after the first couple of dialogues, the second with different scores and the last with no continues. If you are a good player you shouldn't even get the difference between them. I've focused in story mode. The game is quite hard, and we have to select the ship upgrades wisely to progress the new levels, even at normal difficulty. The explosions and sound effects are nice, but the soundtrack is awesome. Spot on! The controls are easy to grasp, and it seems a well built PC game. 3- CONCLUSION There's not much that I can add, you have to experience the game. I got it with a coupon for 0.33€, but it's current full retail price is 0.99€... you have to give it a go, because the game is very fun!
